I have been a customer for over 35 years. Never ever have I experienced a better Sushi restaurant. I adore the owners.

Akasaka has a great menu, with live tanks with different types of seafood like goeduck, abalone, spot prawns, conch, sol, and oysters. They have traditional private tables. I highly recommend this place.
Our friend took us to Akasaka while we were visiting Seattle from Canada, and we’re so glad they did! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The owners are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and their genuine hospitality made our experience even more memorable.

Based on the reviews, Akasaka Restaurant is a sushi bar with a beautiful restaurant and nice layout, great for families. The sushi is excellent, with the toro and hamachi consistently fresh and excellent, and the uni from Japan is some of the best. A wide variety of dishes are offered, and the yakisoba is available. The service is always warm, welcoming, and quick, with the hot sake kept coming. The owners are great people, and the place is very clean including the bathrooms. It is a little pricey, but well worth the trip out to Federal Way. It is worth it for the fresh seafood.
