“Shari is the best !!!! I love her service she made me feel welcomed and had a big smile . I was comfortable and. Tipped her very well. If anyone need a raise is for her compassion at work !!! Let’s Go SHARI !!!!”
“We have been there a couple of times. Everything has been excellent. Prices are comparable to other sushi restaurants in the area. Our only complaint is the tea is a bit week. Still deserves 5 stars.”
“Amazing family owned restaurant. The service here is phenomenal and so personable. The food I'd delicious and always prepared so well. This has become a favorite of mine recently. Highly recommend.”

“Great for a quiet evening out or a nice dinner for two. Nice view of the water in the distance. Appetizers were flavorful, although a little overcooked and slightly rubbery. The pasta was wonderful! We had the rigatoni al salmone which was amazing. The smoked salmon was delightful in the garlic cream sauce. The tiramisu made in house was the perfect desert to finish things off. Must visit this wonderful restaurant if you get the chance!”
“Just left and im so full and taste buds are satisfied. Great service, food & drinks. I'll be back for sure 💯”

“Recently moved to Seattle and can barely find good food near me. Checked out this spot in Federal way and it’s pretty good. I had the brisket and pulled pork. Food needs a little more seasoning but it was good. Baked beans are delicious.”
“Top environment & top food & top service!!!
Everyone should try their variety beers & deserts as well!
Vegetarian options: Vegetable mixed rice, pancake w/scallions & lots of side dishes for free, even refills for free. I tried soft tofu soup w/ sea food.
Wonderful!”
“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!”

“I can’t say enough about this store. I was racing to a holiday event where these cookies were going to be a headliner desert and the store was closing. These amazing women waited 10min after closing so that I could get these amazing treats. I tried tipping them, for the professionalism and over the top customer service, and they declined my offer saying; ‘there’s no need sir, we are glad you made it safely and happy we could help make your event a success.’

“Every time I go, it's so delicious, the staff is friendly, and the main dishes and side dishes are filled with sincerity, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. It's delicious and clean, so it's not a waste of money.
I was originally a clear soup fan, but when I met my husband, I started eating gomtang and seolleongtang. To be honest, I ate it without any special inspiration, and then I came across the best seolleongtang and gomtang not in Korea but in the United States..^^
This is the best restaurant for me ^^
Be sure to try it~~”
“My Husband and i eat here nearly once every week. The owner Yoko is inviting and friendly. The food is very delicious! Itadakimasu!~ Many thanks for the wonderful meals, Always worth it! My favorites: + Pan Fried gyoza; delicious, crispy, perfect. + My husband orders the Miso soup, It's the most flavorful miso we have tried. + My husband loves the curry ramen, I always enjoy sipping some of the broth too! very flavorful and warming. (I think they used to be called I <3 Curry! So this fusion is wonderful!) + Okonomiyaki; beautiful and delicious. +Tonkatsu Curry is very delicious! i order this the most +Curry pork fried rice special over the summer is very delicious! I always ask if they'll still make it for me.(and am very grateful when they do!)”
“The food was incredible! I got the Kimchi fries with beef bolgogi. It was so good! I highly recommend this dish! You have order your food on a computer screen, which was lame and impersonal, so it looses point for service, but that's nitpicking at best. I highly recommend this place!”
“Amazingly generous place. Great service regardless of dine in or take out. They took care of our order to go and blessed us with miso soup that we didn't order. Very giving restaurant. Recommend them highly. I've never had a bad meal from them. Golden Gate is one of my favorites.”

“This awesome little coffee shop seems like a well-kept secret in the neighborhood, and I'm honestly kinda sad it took me so long to find it. Their coffees, teas, and other drinks are first-rate. They use organic, high-quality ingredients, and their staff are always super friendly, super helpful, and aim to make every drink perfect every time... Oh, and all this, for what I swear is less than you pay at the big chain shop with the green mermaid. Their coffee beans are so good (both decaf AND regular) that I buy them for me and my mom now ever since I tried them out. And their lil' shop is a comfortable place to sip your drink and just relax. Definitely recommend!!
Parking: Parking is usually easy and close, except certain peak hours when the shopping center is unusually busy. Even then, you can usually find a spot nearby pretty quickly.”
“Came to dine in for the first time in years with my father to dive into some unlimited pasta bowls! Olive Garden was extremely busy (way busier than usual) on a weekday and service seemed slammed. The manager did everything she could to ensure we had a smooth experience and the server Tony did a great job checking in with us. Their presense made all the difference and turned a sour night into a sweet one!”
“Hands down the BEST Korean fried chicken location in Washington. This is a place you quietly tell your best friends. It's a spot I go to when I want Korean fried chicken. (*and drinks of course!)
It's a stripmall situation with plenty of shared parking out front. Right on Hwy 99 it's easy to miss if you can't remember the name Cockatoo's.
The food is a selection of classic street food, like the cheese corn and dduk-bo-kki paired with fried chicken. You can choose from the mini drumbsticks, or "flats" or move to a full chicken or half of a chicken. These come with an assortment of sauces on the chicken or on the side.
Great service and friendly atmosphere. It's a great place to bring a party of friends or a fun night with a date.
Midas 5-stars for the food.
Midas 3-stars for the average dive bar feel.”
“I wasnt feeling well a d had an urge for something spicy. I ordered phad thai at the spiciest and have to say that it was DELICIOUS! I usually have to add spice, but it was the perfect amount (for me, my husband not so much lol) and the flavor was AMAZING! I am definitely going to eat from here again soon!”
“Had a great experience ordering to-go from Magic Wok. Was in town just for a quick work trip and stumbled across this place. Food was good, very hot when picked up, and tasted fresh! Great options for vegetarians, which was wonderful because that isn’t often the case. Ordered vegetarian egg flower soup, veggie spring roll, and orange tofu.”
“Ordered the vegetarian dinner for two directly through their website. The dinner was ready for pickup promptly at the appointed time. The servings were generous. Spice levels were good. I wasn’t able to specify spice level so I anticipated blandness but was pleasantly surprised. Their daal was phenomenal. Definitely was worth more than the value paid. Will come back again”
“I love the shrimp tacos. Very clean and good atmosphere. Friendly service.”
“The taste of bean sprouts and dried fish mixed with the soft dogani hangover soup will relax your stomach. Sundae hangover soup is also perfect for the rainy Seattle weather with the deep flavor of sundae!”

“Ok, I was dragged there after a long flight, into the corporate cement tunnels and boxes that comprise Federal Way and much of the once beautiful state of Washington. This place was recommended by the least seedy hotel guy; nearby, bright lights, drive through or sit down. The bean burrito was glued down with cheese. The tacos are what you want. Authentic and delicious. On a whim I asked for churros. They are A. Maz. Ing. Hot, crispy sugared outside, soft creamy inside.”
“I love this coffee stand. this is my daily place to get my coffee and the baristas are fantastic. I always get the same thing and they all know my order, they're friendly and knowledgeable and always good for a chat. They keep cool and stay friendly even when the line is wrapped around the parking lot, and they're quick and efficient when it's packed without sacrificing the good vibes. It starts my day off right every time, whether I come through at 7 am or 2 pm. thanks yall ?”
“I love a 24 hour McDonald's. Just be aware that it's in an area around Northgate where some unhoused folks may be hanging out, especially late at night. No one will bother you. Just other people loving their lives. It's just right off the highway. Expect it and don't be alarmed. The service here is quick and easy and a great stopover on a road trip.”
“We had a few fabulous meals, delicious and spectacular! Pork vindaloo marinated in tamarind vinegar, fish and farm-chicken xacuti, crunchy colourful vegetables stewed in coconut milk, and more. Even a mundane ingredient like yellow pumpkin, cooked simply in earthen vessels, tasted complex and exotic. If you ever offer cooking classes, i'd love to learn the basics!”

Takeout Restaurants
“This felt very authentic and welcoming of perceived newcomers. Every server was concerned in the best ways to ensure we have an amazing experience. The food recommendations and explanations on each dish were on par. The spicy beef soup was light and had a mild to maybe medium spice depending on how sensitive you are, the beef was tender.
The ox bone broth in the traditional korean soup was so warm and cozy and milky, slowly adding salt and pepper, almost felt spiritual. The kimchi tasted very unique and almost sweet. The flavor of the radish surprised me. It was so sparkly, crunchy, with a nice spicy kick.”
“Update: since my last visit, the facilities have been updated and refreshed. Same great atmosphere, food and service!
Really fresh food, cooked to order. A little pricier than fast food, and be prepared to wait (esp. at the drivethru). Only place I've found in Federal Way that has buffalo burgers on the menu!”

“The grape cheese foam drink is my favorite boba drink in Federal Way, I usually hate grape flavored anything but decided to try it since I've never seen grape flavored drinks. I don't regret it, it's super yummy. My sister got the strawberry frostie with cheese foam, also a great choice!”

“33 years ago, my new wife introduced me to Vinces. In her previous marriage, Vinces in Renton was the family go to. One bite of Vinces pizza and I was hooked. The only negative is Vince's pizza has spoiled me to every other pizza place in the area. Vinces pizzas are Neapolitan style......much, much better (in my humble opinion) than any other pizza's. Vince's is the place our family always meets for special occasions. We have always been treated very well. My 9 year old grandson told me Vince's pepperoni pizza is his favorite.....it happens to be my favorite too. Writing this I'm starting to crave a pizza! Their other menu offerings are equally excellent. A year or so ago, we stopped for lunch. Out of the blue, I ordered one of their Italian Hero's. I will say it was the absolute BEST Sub/Hero/Grinder I had ever eaten. If you have not been to Vinces, so yourself a favor and try it. You might find you have a new favorite pizza/pasta place. A++”
“I came where with a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. We ordered the virgin bossam combo, an extra serving of meat, kimchi pancake, and some noodle dish (the name escapes me now…). We had more than enough to eat. Definitely get the extra helping of meat and thank me later! Good was top notch but service was lacking a bit. They never really came back to check on our table. I appreciated, though, that they didn’t mind us bringing in cake.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Chick-fil-A has outstanding food and they give back generously into the Federal Way community. I am a regular there both in the drive thru and inside the restaurant. I suggest that you order ahead with their app to customize your meal. There are many options on the app that you may not know about. Today I added bacon to my sandwich and was surprised by the crispy quality and the good taste. You will always receive a thank you and a warm smile from their always friendly staff.”
“Almost every week we order one to two family pizzas. The prices are somewhat expensive. Because we deliver them uncooked, and secondly, we always try to be a special customer, so we expect the prices to be somewhat lower. Among other superior features, the type and quality of the food, which is very tasty and good. Wishing you more success??”
“Bad reviews are likely old, as I used to not like the quality of the chicken, but we gave it another try and have been going since. Good portions, good katsu ( a tad greasy tho) and great Teriyaki and nice portions. Also the rice was perfectly sticky. I got the combo last time.”
“...our first visit to this Taco Time ...very PLEASANT SERVER, 0RDER PROMPT....very clean/ good ambience....great soda machine w/ CAFFEINE FREE DIET COKE-- most places have only high-sugar / CAFFEINE drinks...so, yep, overall the FOOD & EXPERIENCE were excellent --- we'll be back --”
“I have been a customer for over 35 years. Never ever have I experienced a better Sushi restaurant. I adore the owners. Fresh amazing food.”
“The owner Sam runs an incredible store! All the employees are always so kind and welcoming. Not to mention they make great smoothies! Definitely recommend going there! 😄”

“Absolutely LOVEE this cafe and it's vibe, I love it's food very very yummy and their delicacies are so splendid I almost shed a tear at how yummy the drinks and food are and the cozy atmosphere I wish I could come here more often and indulge in their most gracious and benevolent services”
“We were at Red Robin today for lunch with 2 birthday's in our party and we had an amazing experience. We were very happy with our waiter Zachary. He was very accommodating even if things were running a little slow. Thank you for a fantastic lunch experience Red Robin 😊 very satisfied”
“This is a great sports bar/restaurant. The breakfast sandwich is delicious; however, they don't open until 10:30. I'm a fan of the reuben, as well. Their chips and salsa are the best around, serving fresh, warm chips and spicy salsa. And the salads are tasty, too. Don't be discouraged if the parking lot looks full: there is a large lot for additional parking in back.”
“I finally found good Mexican food that’s authentic in federal way. I found them while it was walking with Siri and I got their tamales that are Rajas with queso OMG They were so incredibly good. I give up buying tamales quite a while ago because I couldn’t find any good ones. They have great ones and they Agua is awesome. I can’t wait to go back for a torta ahogada!! I haven’t had one since I was in GDL!! Check them out they close a little early. She said 7 PM. They are so good.!!”
“The strawberry and cream cheese croffle is amazing. You can’t go wrong with either the strawberry or Oreo bingsu either. Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. All of the signature drinks are to die for and the teas are spot on delicious!”
“The food was amazing and I was given a really good amount for just 12 bucks. I would have attached a photo but I destroyed it before I could even think about snapping a picture lol. The guy at the counter was super friendly, and when he saw my uniform he said he would make my food asap so I would have time to eat before my break was over. They were just generally super nice and I even saw them offering free samples to people. I 100% recommend and will be returning.”
“Good little sports bar. The bartender was on it with the service, greeting us right away upon entry. The totchos were awesome. Nothing inherently wrong with the food, perhaps a bit messy but that's what makes it sports bar food!! Only reason for four stars is not as much selection as a couple other local sports bars”
“This place is under new ownership as of 3 months ago. It’s now called Babjib, very delicious good food and the side dishes are yummy too. Would recommend this place to anyone!!! ???”

“Best pho place anywhere!!! Have never been disappointed here. There's only one thing this restaurant needs to improve on... August 20 I saw the girl with the black glasses that's usually always there snacking behind the counter and then she actually service some food to there table. This disturbs me greatly and she needs to NOT snack where customers can see her.....”
“My wife pretty much dislikes teriyaki chicken. However, in a moment of weakness, she said yes to it this time. Since we moved recently, I looked around for a well rated Teriyaki restaurant near us, and Teriyaki house came up. Well, she loved it (and so did I!) but did not care for the sauce. So next time I went in, I asked for the chicken without the sauce, just on the side. Since then, this has been the only place we go for take out. The quality of the food is the best out of all the other Teriyaki places we tried and the couple who own the place are wonderful. I would love to spend a few days in the kitchen watching how this wonderful chef makes these dishes. I've tried several of the other offerings and they are just as excellent as the teriyaki. I look forward to trying more of their fabulous offerings. Highly recommended.”

“I amazed how incredibly tasty this thick broth onnthis ramen join. Noodle like hand made quality , even i didnt see how they make it. The pork melt in the mount , ridicilously underrated. Came w fam , i am telling everyone , u dont go.to the other place ... please :) , quality broth , great quality meat

“Despite some scathing reviews, I actually like this place. The guy who has been at the grill every time I've gone there is a superb grill master. He is attentive to what the customers want and he is very professional and helpful. The other staff is pleasant. The best thing is certainly the strip steak and the burgers, but their manicotti is actually very good and some other odds and ends are pretty solid. The clam chowder is also surprisingly good. The cheese sauce is also excellent. The atmosphere is great, very clean and pleasant. The $30 dollar price tag might seem steep, but every place is going up now. The steak is better quality and the grill master is far more skilled than the nearest competing buffet (no names named). Despite being about $10 more bucks than the other place, I still believe Golden Spoon is a good value.”
