“I’ve been away from the area for a couple of years. I wondered in to the Tacoma downtown location today and was entirely blown away by this incredibly designed space. The menu! The employees! The vibe! Is this the most beautiful vibe I’ve ever had with my coffee!!? Yes, I think so. Goodness they couldn’t have done a better job with this place😍“

“I left a review for them on Yelp and forgot to put one for Google so this will be a more updated review. This spot has some of the best drink specials as well as the best menu for food, drinks, and snacks! They also have the best dog treats in the area as our two dogs love the peanut butter crunchy treats they have here, even our picky girl will want more! We have never been disappointed here as they have fast and friendly employees, the drinks are always refreshing and delicious and the reward system here is worth joining in. They are great about posting their specials, helping lost or dogs in need of adoption, and supporting other small businesses on their social media as well! Truly one of the best coffee businesses!“

“The coffee was fine and overall this seems like a nice location. The baristas are very friendly for the most part. Unfortunately, the (probably) manager (a red-head whose name I didn't catch) seems like she treats the baristas pretty harshly. I couldn't help but overhear some conversations while I was sitting in the lobby and I definitely noticed some pretty unprofessional behavior in regard to tone and attitude. At least, that's the way it looked from my end. Hence the 2-star atmosphere rating. It wasn't very pleasant.“

“Jump Start Espresso is hands down my favorite coffee stand! I've tried so many different places, and this one is still my #1. Their coffee actually tastes like coffee instead of just tasting like milk, and they have really great prices that are hard to beat.

My favorite part is their breakfast. Unlike a lot of coffee stands that only offer bagels or basic snacks, Jump Start Espresso has delicious breakfast options. Their breakfast burritos are amazing! I look forward to stopping by every chance I get and highly recommend it!“

“Tried the orange creamsicle frappuccino.
Not bad, but definitely disappointing if you’re expecting an actual creamsicle flavor. Starbucks uses an orange powder, and it shows. The drink tastes orange-flavored rather than bright and citrusy, and the vanilla never quite brings it together.

A creamsicle should have real orange brightness, smooth vanilla creaminess, and that nostalgic frozen-treat balance. This was more like a frozen orange drink wearing a vanilla cardigan.

Not terrible. Just spiritually fraudulent. 🍊

“The strawberry and cream cheese croffle is amazing. You can’t go wrong with either the strawberry or Oreo bingsu either. Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. All of the signature drinks are to die for and the teas are spot on delicious!“

“I’m wondering if they understand the products that they serve. A latte is a drink that has 3-4 parts steamed milk to 1 part espresso. So a 12 oz drink with one shot of espresso, fundamentally cannot be a latte, yet that’s what their menu calls it. That also happens to be the smallest size they serve. Something doesn’t add up. It would be easier for them to achieve the proper ratios for their drinks if they served an 8 oz cup. An 8 oz latte with 2 shots of espresso would be the proper way to make said drink“
