“I’ve been away from the area for a couple of years. I wondered in to the Tacoma downtown location today and was entirely blown away by this incredibly designed space. The menu! The employees! The vibe! Is this the most beautiful vibe I’ve ever had with my coffee!!? Yes, I think so. Goodness they couldn’t have done a better job with this place😍“

“I loved the ambiance at Cafe Seoul. It was warm, cozy, and relaxing. Their nutella and cream bungeo bbang were SO good - definitely the highlight of my visit. The staff were also super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. 5/5, I would absolutely come back again“

“I'm trying to not go to Starbucks anymore because I don't align with their business practices and my friend suggested Jump Start. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and my drink was AMAZING. Highly recommend the lotus energy drink with pineapple and cantaloupe! Also my friend had a Malibu Barbie and I tried that and it tasted like raspberry jello. Might get that next time!“

“Jump Start Espresso is hands down my favorite coffee stand! I've tried so many different places, and this one is still my #1. Their coffee actually tastes like coffee instead of just tasting like milk, and they have really great prices that are hard to beat.

My favorite part is their breakfast. Unlike a lot of coffee stands that only offer bagels or basic snacks, Jump Start Espresso has delicious breakfast options. Their breakfast burritos are amazing! I look forward to stopping by every chance I get and highly recommend it!“

“The strawberry and cream cheese croffle is amazing. You can’t go wrong with either the strawberry or Oreo bingsu either. Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. All of the signature drinks are to die for and the teas are spot on delicious!“

“The coffee was fine and overall this seems like a nice location. The baristas are very friendly for the most part. Unfortunately, the (probably) manager (a red-head whose name I didn't catch) seems like she treats the baristas pretty harshly. I couldn't help but overhear some conversations while I was sitting in the lobby and I definitely noticed some pretty unprofessional behavior in regard to tone and attitude. At least, that's the way it looked from my end. Hence the 2-star atmosphere rating. It wasn't very pleasant.“

“Went for a quick breakfast the other day. This place is dangerous in the most predictable way. You go in thinking one doughnut, then you see the case, then your self ontrol quietly leaves through a side door. Good selection, fun spot, and definitely the kind of place that makes discipline feel optional, especially if you already live up in Lakeland Hills and have no excuse. Go with a plan or accept your fate.“

“I’m wondering if they understand the products that they serve. A latte is a drink that has 3-4 parts steamed milk to 1 part espresso. So a 12 oz drink with one shot of espresso, fundamentally cannot be a latte, yet that’s what their menu calls it. That also happens to be the smallest size they serve. Something doesn’t add up. It would be easier for them to achieve the proper ratios for their drinks if they served an 8 oz cup. An 8 oz latte with 2 shots of espresso would be the proper way to make said drink“

“I do recommend them because they're a great way to donate to those who need help. but on that same note, the cooks need pay closer attention to the product. The biscuits were burned today, hard as a rock on the bottom and a weird heavy texture in the middle. I did say something. the guy working at agreed with me and offered to give me something else, but I told him not to worry about it. I think that the cook needs to pay better attention however. Beyond that everyone there is really sweet, but the service can be rather slow.“

“Affordable, fresh, and delicious bread/cakes/drinks. Plenty of cake selections and flavors, plenty of pastries to choose from, caffeinated drinks and non-caffeinated drinks are in the menu as well. You can order drinks at the kiosk to skip the line. There are a few tables inside the cafe to wait for your order or to just hang out. I love their Vietnamese coffee!!! It’s the only reason I go here. I try to go when I work bc it’s literally down the street! Highly recommended when you happen to be in Federal Way!“
