“The owner is quite mad (in a fun way), although he wasn’t wearing a hat, which he should; that is my only issue.

The tea is great, he clearly knows what he is doing, and he is very generous with selection, pricing, and taking up his time.

“I found ForesTea when I started working in the area, and enjoy the regular classic milk tea treat after work. For the past nine months the staff has been consistent, very little turnover, and are welcoming upon entering the store. The atmosphere is light and easy going without being too loud or too peaceful. “If you’re a spooky guy or gal like me who wants a fabulous design for your wedding/event cake, the Wanna Cupcake team has GOT you! I didn’t find many review photos of full size cakes in my research, so I was worried my ask was too tall, but man did this shop deliver! They totally nailed the inspiration photo I sent, it came out identical to my vision. We ordered a 6 inch cutting cake and enough cupcakes for 1.5 per guest, and they were a huge hit! It was also a huge relief to have the delivery and setup option for our wedding day; Hannah delivered our cakes at the perfect temp for our outdoor event, and even helped our coordinator set and design the cake table! My husband and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how our cake turned out for our special day. Massive THANK YOU to Karie, Hannah, and Jennavieve for maintaining timely communication with us throughout the year, you all made this such an easy and fun process! “I’ve been away from the area for a couple of years. I wondered in to the Tacoma downtown location today and was entirely blown away by this incredibly designed space. The menu! The employees! The vibe! Is this the most beautiful vibe I’ve ever had with my coffee!!? Yes, I think so. Goodness they couldn’t have done a better job with this place😍“

This spot has some of the best drink specials as well as the best menu for food, drinks, and snacks! They also have the best dog treats in the area as our two dogs love the peanut butter crunchy treats they have here, even our picky girl will want more! We have never been disappointed here as they have fast and friendly employees, the drinks are always refreshing and delicious and the reward system here is worth joining in. They are great about posting their specials, helping lost or dogs in need of adoption, and supporting other small businesses on their social media as well! Truly one of the best coffee businesses!“

“Crowded weekend - only 4 wood tables and a counter, with many shared bench type seats. I got the matcha earl grey tea and it was delicious.

Also ordered the ham cheese sandwich, which was very tasty, buttery, and came with a side of arugula salad, all for $8! Excellent value for money, especially considering typical Seattle prices for the same meal would be $16+. There were some baked pastries in the display, but it looked like their housemade croffles, bingsu, and other desserts were their specialty, not the ones on display.

Overall, the aesthetic end vibe was chic and cute, but the space was too small to enjoy it. Staff were very nice, but ultimately the crowds influenced the order time - we noticed other customers who ordered after us got their food first, leading to around 15 min wait for the sandwiches. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of for those on a short timeline.

Would recommend for groups less than 3 people, no laptops, social catch up, under 1 hour. No visible bus bins, trash cans (maybe due to small space), and only 1 small bathroom, easy to feel cramped with anything more than 12 customers.“

“I had a hot turkey melt. It was fantastic. I came back the next day but they were closed. I went there at 6:45 a.m. though so that makes sense I guess. The closest option was a terrible mistake. I don't know the name of the place but I won't say it anymore. I try not to bring people down our businesses as well.

I managed to get out of there under 15 bucks for a filling sandwich and a Coca-Cola. I think it was $13 and some change to be exact.“

“What a COOL little spot this was! We had a Karaoke party for a family member's 14th birthday. We packed the place, and all the servers/bartenders were so very nice and attentive. I had a club sandwich which was really good, as was my Fiance's chicken wrap. We also shared a spicey bites appetizer which had just the right amount of kick .
