“We happened upon this little gem purely by accident because we needed to use the restroom on our way from Roy to Tacoma. I always feel bad asking to use the restroom at a business establishment without buying something, so I checked out the menu and, when I saw they had a sandwich called Ellie's Garden, I knew I had to order it in honor of my youngest granddaughter, Eleanore. The sandwich was phenomenal! I shared it with my daughter and we found ourselves wishing we each had a whole sandwich. We definitely will be returning to sample more of the goodies Blue Steele has to offer!“

“We absolutely love our Starbucks!! The entire crew treat me, my husband, and our dog Bozeman like royalty always with the biggest smiles, most wonderful cheery attitudes, and a Puppaccino! The entire crew showed us the most sincere caring feelings after my husband's car accident, they were genuinely concerned about him and every one took the time to write him a personal get well message! It was truly touching. “This was by far the most pleasant McDonald’s experience we’ve ever had. The food was hot and fresh, and they got our order exactly right. There was no need to head back to the counter to ask for something that was missed, like what often happens at fast food places.
The employees were so friendly and kind. Someone even stopped by our table half way through our meal to see if we needed any more sauces or napkins or anything. Almost like a real sit down restaurant!
The restaurant was clean and well cared for as well. Overall all a great experience.“

“Mad Hat Tea Company is an absolute gem in Tacoma. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of charm, with an incredible tea selection that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

“Kassie’s Korner is a drive-thru coffee spot with two locations; South Hill and Graham. The staff is always AMAZING and from my experience, if you go often, they’ll remember you and your usual drink.
There are a few food options available from other local shops which make a delicious addition to their drink options. And yes, they have A LOT of options. Whether coffee or something more fruity, the choices are many. I enjoy their coffee over most others I’ve tried in the Seattle area. Their staff recommendations and seasonal favorites always hit the spot too.
