“As a Korean who was born and raised in S.K and I know what authentic Korean Chinese food is like, this place is REAL.
Not only is their food so good, but our waitress Vy was on top of everything. When we went here, it was pretty occupied but she served us so nicely that we didn't have to ask a thing.
I would def come back! If anyone is doubtful about this place, just trust me and enjoy their good food🩷🩷🩷“

“Yi’s Traditional Korean Beef Soup is a spot that focuses on classic Korean comfort food, with its specialty being traditional soups made around a rich, slow-cooked broth. The restaurant has a simple and welcoming atmosphere that matches the type of food it serves. It is the kind of place that feels especially fitting on a colder day when you want something warm, filling, and comforting rather than a complicated meal.
The main reason to visit is the seolleongtang, a traditional Korean beef bone soup that is known for its clean yet deeply satisfying flavor. The broth has a smooth richness that comes from the long cooking process, while the beef adds heartiness to the bowl. One thing that makes the dish stand out is that it arrives relatively simple, allowing you to adjust the seasoning yourself with salt and other condiments to your preference. The radish kimchi and kimchi served alongside are especially important because they add brightness and balance to the mild broth.
The menu also has other solid options if you want to build a larger meal. The handmade dumplings are a good addition, and the seafood pancake is a popular choice for sharing. The portions are generous enough to make it a satisfying meal, and the combination of soup, banchan, and side dishes creates a traditional Korean dining experience.
Service adds to the overall experience, with staff being attentive and helpful when explaining dishes. Whether you are already familiar with Korean food or trying seolleongtang for the first time, the restaurant makes it approachable. Overall, Yi’s Traditional Korean Beef Soup is a great choice for anyone looking for authentic Korean comfort food, especially when you are craving a warm bowl of soup that feels both simple and satisfying.“

“Very authentic jjamppong loaded with mussels, squid and shrimp, with bouncy noodles in rich broth. Their bowls are HUGE! Amazing value, especially if you go during lunchtime for their lunch specials. $9.99 for jjajangmyeon and $11.99 for jjamppong, Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM to 2 PM. What a hidden gem!“

“The food here is delicious and healing! We first visited after a recommendation from another Korean friend. Gamjatang is a favorite whenever I visit Korea and this is the only place I’ve found in North America that makes it so good! My girlfriend got the hangover soup both times and it was also really good. Their soondae and banchan are likewise great and all their food is quite generously portioned.
We visited again with a 40 minute drive and were looking forward to coming back!“

“First time eating here. Cute little shop with lots of delicious looking meal options. We ended up getting meat lovers fries ( choose both meats, it was delicious), 2 dumpling plates. One hot flavored mandu,( nice and hot, covered in sauce but I wanted more salt, smaller in size and more crunch), the other was corn cheese mandu,( favorite of the two, more crunch and it would have been perfect). Server was nice, brought us ice for our canned soda. I'd definitely eat here again.“

“In a state where Korean food dominates, this place stands out as one of the most delicious spots for Korean BBQ I’ve ever tasted. It’s great for bringing groups of friends or going in solo, fast service yet great in quality and quantity, straight to the point, great food, and great vibes for a great price. 10/10“

“We went there for the dumplings as I’m always looking to find good dumpling places. We had the pork dumplings and kimchi bun and the red beans bun. They all delicious, but I didn’t taste much kimchi flavor in the bun. The red beans filling are smooth, buttery and not too sweet. Also like that they give the broth as drink instead of water. It’s delicious.“

“My absolute favorite place for bossam!! The variety kimchi that comes with this dish is also amazing!!
It can get pretty crowded on Fridays and weekends. It’s best to come during a weekday to get seats. Their home made rice wine is also so good! I highly recommend this place“

“First time going, had a great experience. So much food, all you can eat for just $40. The Garlic Chicken and Spicy marinated Pork were our top two favorites. But everything we got was great. Got also the Beef brisket (which they give you a lot), the Spicy marinated Shrimp, and the Spicy marinated Chicken. For two people who are hungry, only 4-5 meat dishes needed. They do not let you take any leftovers home unfortunately. Even if you cook it. Also got their fried rice, the Kimchi Soup (really good), and the Cold Noodle dish (not that great, or just not our favorite thing compared to everything else and was unnecessary). It was my husband's first time having Korean BBQ, so was fun and he really enjoyed getting to cook his own meat and he loved everything and how much we got.“

“Went there for lunch and got the short rib combo and dumplings. Loved it and will be going back. Everything tasted fresh. The kimchi pork jjigae was perfect, I was so stuffed I couldn't finish it. The banchan was also super fresh. They were busy but they busted ass getting food out hot. Perfect lunch for someone by themselves. I bought the kimbap for dinner and it was so good, much better than the hmart one. Got to go try their fried chicken next.“
“Ordered takeout while I shopped around HMart. Service was fast and friendly. I got the N1-Black Bean Noodles w/ beef, options are pork, veggie, beef or seafood. Came with pickled radish. Very good. The flavor is so comforting. Very big portion and decent price! Will be back.“

“This is a great spot for authentic K hot dogs. As someone born and raised in Korea, I can say the flavors are super legit. The place is a little small for dining in, but the food is delicious and affordable. K hot dogs have become popular with the rise of K culture, so come give them a try you won’t regret it fr!“

“Upon entering, you're met with K-Pop music, along with other Korean aesthetics. The chicken is absolutely phenomenal. Crispy outside, moist meat, and flavorful sauces. Prices are industry standard, so no suprises there. Late hours, plus a bar inside the restaurant make it an excellent stop at the end of the work day, or just for a bite with friends. A recommended visit.“

“I’ve been eating here for so long and there’s a reason why we always come back! Chicken is super fresh, not frozen, well battered and fry to perfection! The flavor is always on point too! Creamy udon can be a hit or miss because sometimes it’s perfect, sometimes too salty. The half and half and the boneless onion cream chicken are my recommendation, as well as the corn cheese! Fish cake soup also good but the broth can be better! Only down point is they don’t do reservations so either you have to come early or it’s gonna be a long wait :(“

“Traditional and authentic Korean food. You can tell by the way the restaurant heavily incorporates elements of Korea. I love how the flavors complement each other and create a unique experience. It also elevates your spice tolerance. The kimchi has a delicious savory taste that creates a heavenly combo with other items. The rich soup broth compliments the noodles very nicely.
Staff is kind and succinct, service is fast, ambiance is cozy even when patronage is limited. Food comes in large portion sizes and restaurant has a large variety. The restaurant is open late. Truly a local gem that I would recommend if you’re in town.“

“No frills Korean BBQ. The meat is on an island. You select what you want and cook it. There are other side dishes. I pretty much stuck to the galbi, marinated beef ribs. I’m stuffed myself.“

“My first time trying jajangmyeon I don’t really know if I can compare or have much knowledge on how it should taste but I thought it was good, also got the orange chicken my baby loved both. Chicken had a nice subtle orange flavor not too overpowering to keep you eating more, sides were also different flavor/texture to have kimchi is a nice touch to add so was the radish. The most friendliest people ever which makes this place above 5 stars. More than enough food for lunch & dinner I highly recommend Malri Hyang without a doubt.“

“We had a few fabulous meals, delicious and spectacular! Pork vindaloo marinated in tamarind vinegar, fish and farm-chicken xacuti, crunchy colourful vegetables stewed in coconut milk, and more. Even a mundane ingredient like yellow pumpkin, cooked simply in earthen vessels, tasted complex and exotic. If you ever offer cooking classes, i'd love to learn the basics!“

“The server came at the end staring at all the pots / bowl absolutely cleaned out — that’s how much we loved the food here. The surprising standout dish was the spicy sashimi cold noodle… what a refreshing dish for the summer and they’re very generous with the sashimi serving. Will definitely come back.“
