My mom and I have stopped by here a few times as she loves soondae and soondae soup and this is one of the only places that offers it nearby where we live. I have had their spicy beef soup, spicy pork neck bone soup, spicy soondae soup and spicy pork belly soup so far and have been happy with the portions and spiciness. Ordered a feast here for my late birthday. Everything was great. 3 soups & fried fish could easily feed 4 grown adults. My only request is to have a more variety of banchan.

Moobongri Soondae serves traditional and authentic Korean food with large portion sizes and a large variety. The flavors complement each other, creating a unique experience that elevates spice tolerance. The spicy soup is actually really spicy but filled with cabbage. The combo meat plate is a favorite. The kimchi tastes really fresh with a perfect tang, and the radish kimchi and ggakdugi are fantastically fresh. The rich soup broth compliments the noodles very nicely. The king donkatsu is a pleasant surprise with its amazingly gourmet and fruity sauce. The large intestine stir fry has the perfect balance of everything and is an affordable option that can feed a large group. Staff is kind and succinct, service is fast, and the ambiance is cozy. The restaurant is open late and a local gem. Authentic Korean food with good prices to beat, and the sappy K-pop old school music adds to the experience.
