My mom and I have stopped by here a few times as she loves soondae and soondae soup and this is one of the only places that offers it nearby where we live. I have had their spicy beef soup, spicy pork neck bone soup, spicy soondae soup and spicy pork belly soup so far and have been happy with the portions and spiciness. My little brother really enjoyed their katsu here and shares how it is huge. The to-go packaging here is very well done and the presentation for when you dine...
My Korean wife and I got mala soondae stew as well as soondae. It was delicious, well balanced, hearty, and the side toppings of perilla powder and kimchi + kkatugi side dishes hit the spot! Would reccomend to folks looking for a good warm homey Korean spot.
We stopped by around 8 PM on a Wednesday, and the place was super quiet. The soondae guk was spot on and exactly what I had been craving. I got the spicy version, and it was just as good as I remembered. The quality was also really consistent with their other locations—the last one we tried was in Vegas, and this was just as good. Plenty of parking, great service, and overall, you really can’t go wrong!
