“We have been enjoying takeout here for years. We were able to eat in last week and it was so good. The Kimchi pancakewas amazing on the hot pan with the dipping sauce, as was everything else we ordered. It gets really busy, so have patience it is worth the wait.Parking: Parking can be a challenge at times.“
“The food was immaculate. The service was fast. And the ambiance was lovely especially when Isac was around. He was so kind and soft and vary polite. It was a great experience also i walk 7.3 miles just to get their 4 dumplings for 12$ then back“
“If you’re on à la carte, everything is good and perfect. Interesting banchan everytime, 10/10. Portion size is big as well. But I won’t recommend their BBQ buffet, the quality is kinda off for me. They’re also selling lettuce on the side for an extra of $2 or $4 (can’t remember). But for that buffet price, it should be included. So their a la carte is good, but you should try korean buffets in federal way.“
“Highly recommend pollack soup and rice soupThe pollack soup is really refreshing. There is no taste of seasoning at all.The meat in the soup is very soft.I think they select the parts that taste good and use them. It's absolutely delicious. The owner is very kind and makes a great impression. It's a comfortable and comfortable place, like eating a home-cooked meal.“
“Yeah, it's super far if you're coming from Seattle, and it's pricy too. But if you're a lover of fried intestines and Korean bar vibes , I think Makchang Drama is totally worth the trip. Make a day of it. Hang out at Southcenter Mall with some friends, go to Round 1 arcade, travel down to Makchang Drama for guts and KBBQ, then find a noraebang (Korean karaoke) spot on your way back up. Drink a bunch of soju. (Not the driver.) Get merry.I love makchang (beef intestines) and gopchang (small intestines) for their chewy, fatty texture and super savory flavor! If you're not a fan of fatty or chewy meat products (like chicken skin, pork belly, tendon, offal, etc), you might not be a fan of this. But if you love guts (like me), you'll love these! They come out on a smoking hot grill so they're just a bit crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside... mmm... I'm salivating just thinking of it. Cut through the oil with some somaek (soju + beer) and you're cooking! We ordered a couple of other dishes (like the boiled pork) and it came with free banchan (side dishes). I definitely would go again, and often -- if only it wasn't so far! It's all the way down in Lakewood, just past Tacoma. I'll just have to settle for only making a special trip once in a while.“
“This is one of the best places for some Korean fried chicken and great Korean food. The reg fried chicken is so good, it doesn’t even need sauce! The staff and owners are amazing and caring people. If you enjoy k pop videos playing in your booth as well, you’ll love this place even more. Worth every penny!“
“This is my favorite Asian food. Every time I go and try something new, it's always phenomenal. My favorite so far is the sweet and sour pork, but that doesn't mean that every dish isn't mind blowing. In fact I have never had one thing I wouldn't order again. I really love that they give you all the little sides with it. Their kim chi is mind blowing and it's always gone before our dish even gets to the table.“
“Make a reservation, not a big place. Don’t bring more than 4 people, to be comfortable(2 people on each side of the booth). This is not your typical K BBQ spot. Not a ton of choices, just top 10. Also sides are limited. BUT very tasty. That’s why 4/5 stars . Service is good, because there is not a lot of choices. I would eat there again.“
“The best way to describe this spot is as the perfect comfort Japanese food for anyone who grew up getting the basic take out as a kid.I came by to grab a to go plate on a busy and stressful day when I just needed something quick, and it honestly hit the spot. It’s good, basic Japanese take out, and it was a huge source of nostalgia and comfort for me at a time that I needed it.The store is very clean and organized and has a solid menu. The cashier is very friendly and an excellent multitasker. She was taking orders, setting out food for to go orders/mobile orders, and constantly answering the phone. She definitely stayed busy but never made any customers wait to be helped. My food was ready in 10-15 minutes and was actually ready faster than my partner’s food from a restaurant next door.It was quiet when I entered and picked up shortly after (it was about 4:30 PM). It was nice to see a good amount of foot traffic in a small restaurant. And yet it never got loud or rowdy.I ordered the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combo plate. It was exactly as you expect and hope for from chicken teriyaki.“
“Probably the best Korean restaurant you can find. Personally beats everything in Lakewood, Federal Way, and Lynnwood for me. Every dish I've had there has been a hot and the side dishes are not only good but generous. Been coming for 2 years and no complaints.“
“Best tofu soup in the area! I haven't tried their other locations, but I would anticipate it's as consistent and delicious as the Lakewood location. Their banchan is super crisp and fresh, which I usually find lacking at other Korean restaurants in the area. Their mixed tofu soup is savory and hits every high note. Their bbq meats are incredible but ridiculously overpriced. If you get the tofu and short rib combo, anticipate spending an extra $22 for 6 little cuts. It's basically one small strip of short rib. Not worth it!“
“Walking into this establishment was like entering a portal into a cozy little cafe and it was really peaceful. The service was excellent and the staff was super sweet. I got the shoyu shrimp ramen and it was excellent. Will definitely return. Thanks to the staff!“
