“The staff is so attentive, the owners are so generous and kind, especially if you have kids. This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had and our favor restaurant near the tacoma area. Yes the menu is smaller but you can tell they put a lot of thought and love into their food. I think it’s better to focus on a few good dishes and have them be perfection than have a mid menu with a lot of items. Can’t say enough good things about this place!”

“This was my first time visiting this place as well as the cafe/bakery next door. It's a small grocery store full of authentic German food products. Their bread was so good!!! I definitely plan on coming back for more pretzels.

“I’ve loved eating the variety of foods and restaurants but this reminded me so much of Texas I couldn’t help but do my happy dance while I ate my chilaquiles with carne asada y huevos. The Horchata was definitely made with actual cinnamon and everything else, tasted so good I had a to get a refill!😋 I absolutely enjoyed the food and can’t wait to come back”

We’ve had two instances when the carrier has broken and spilled all our drinks, today being the second time. The first time, the bottom unfolded and then today, the handle part tore. Don’t get me wrong, their drinks are tasty, but maybe it’s time to invest in more sturdy drink carriers😅

P.S. customer service is also 10/10; the first time that the carrier broke, we went back and the employees graciously gave us the same drinks for free to compensate for the spilled ones.”

Chips arrived in a small bowl and which quickly needed to be replenished. The child menu was on paper and had some puzzles and we were brought a small package of crayons. We ordered burritos, one chicken for the kiddo, one shrimp fajita and one chile verde. We all enjoyed our selections and had some leftover to take with us. The place had a cold draft, or maybe it was the HVAC, but it was uncomfortable. Our waiter was very pleasant and knew a little of the area history when I had commented about coming to this restaurant in the early 1970s. My companion used the ladies room and advised me that floor was dangerously slick.”

“The food is never disappointing. However, at least twice a week we get the same thing, vegetable fried rice and honey walnut shrimp with extra cabbage. You can never go wrong with these two meals. They use fresh chopped vegetables NOT frozen. They give you a lot of it. It’s enough for 3-4 people. The shrimp is never over cooked with a tasty coating. The candied walnuts are plentiful. The sauce is so good, we started requesting extra shredded cabbage. These two dishes are never disappointing.”

But most of all, its not 20 dollars per ice cream. The biggest size was only 8-9 dollars! Which isn't bad at all! I would definitely try to go on days that aren't too busy since they can neglect doing your ice cream well enough (such as mixing in the add ins) but if they are slower it's amazing!”

“Risa delivered exceptional service, I was waiting behind a difficult customer while deciding what to order, and the entire time she was helpful and informative and gave this customer a lot of grave, even though the guest was changing their order multiple times and asking for things that weren't possible like (raw fresh hash browns? which they can't legally serve) the guest asked for that after the order was completed, which is actually insane...) but still, she maintained a positive attitude and politely informed the guest that they cannot provide that for them due to safety and health regulations and the customer understood. I then got my meal and it was exactly to my specifications and it was freshly made and delicious. Thank you!”
