“Love the vibe of this place! Dark walls, plants everywhere, live edge bar and tables, cool cedar root ceiling light. Trivia first Friday at 5:00 was fun. Great ciders. Only 2 beers on tap + Ranier in cans for the beer lovers. Did have some wine, too. The wings were good, queso not so much. They do have games and you can sit and sip and read or play. Very cool space.“

“Very chic place, I cannot remember the last time I had roasted garlic and I ordered it, crostini's were so warm and garlic spreadable and toasty. Bonus points for all the scattered fresh fruit.

I also enjoyed the chicken and dumpling soup, but most of all the Mac n cheese was surprising I was expecting creamy, soup like Mac, but it was very much BAKED like someone's grandmama was back there
Could have used a little more seasoning which is understandable because we can always add our own if need be

“Found this little gem on a Thursday run with my running group. Stopped in afterwards and had the pear, arugula, goat cheese, and hot honey pizza. Wonderful pizza with all ingredients well balanced, albeit a bit messy. 😉 Was told by the bartender afterwards that next time I could add meat ingredients too. So if you want to guild the lily just ask.

The atmosphere was perfect for an intimate couple with soft lighting, quiet music, and dark colors. This would be a perfect cozy date spot (21+ only, so kid free zone). Plus, afterwards, there is gelato next door.“

“I had the Vegan Melt, which had house-made seitan, melted Chao, and chimichurri sauce. It was amazing! Truly the best sandwich I've ever had. Had a choice of salad or chips and a pickle accompanying it. The salad was very fresh. I don't normally like going to bars, but this place had a good atmosphere, and the staff was very welcoming. If ever in Tacoma again, I will 100% return.“

“We've seen this wine shop on our visits to Tacoma but never really had a reason to stop in since our focus when we're in town is family and other events. However this weekend we were unexpectedly invited to a friend's house so we stopped by to pick up bottle of wine. What we found was a lively neighborhood wine bar and bottle shop. There were about 6+ people in the shop having a glass of wine, visiting and relaxing. The shop had a nice representation of wine from many different regions. We're partial to Italian and Spanish wines and were pleasantly surprised to see a nice selection of Brunellos, Rosso de Montelcino, Borrolo and Whites including Vermentino. The proprietors were knowledgeable and helpful. If we lived closer I could see ourselves dropping in occasionally to relax with a glass of wine or popping in for one of their tasting.“

“We were looking for a spot to eat outdoors with our pups and a couple of friends and happened on this gem. Delicious sandwiches, ginger beer and craft cocktails! We'll be back!“

“Finally gave this place a try. Glad we did. We’ve spent a lot of time in Scotland where they do Haddock and chips very well. So I was much amazed to see Haddock and Chips on their menu. Not Cod or wildly expensive Halibut, but Haddock. And it was excellent. Beautifully done, chips were perfect and tartar sauce was great. Nice space and friendly atmosphere. “Stopped into Magoo's after a few days exploring Tacoma after many years, looking for something that felt like home coming from Chicago, and this place nailed it.

Tuesday night $2.50 tacos, $3 PBRs, and a true, unfiltered Tacoma vibe.

Jack behind the bar was outstanding. Professional, dialed-in, and handled everything like a high-end vet while keeping it completely approachable. One solid genuine bartender.

Throw your peanuts shells on the ground. I guess. But i couldn't do it even though by buddy told me this is a thing for this bar. Check it out of your in the area“

“Hands down the BEST pizza in Tacoma maybe even the state ! Also I just want to give Andre the credit he deserves, I have never seen an employee anywhere I have been work as hard as he does. He is on top of everything ! Extremely attentive & makes delicious pizza. Whoever owns this is lucky to have him as their employee.“

“Good variety, but kind of expensive, as most pay as you pour places are. The only downside is the noise in the place. It was very slow and the noise was sometimes tricky. Can't imagine it on a busy night. Also, the AC was on and a couple people in our party were very uncomfortable as it was early March in the evening (cold).“

“Little Vic's is not fancy or a shit hole, the staff is great, the beer and drinks are very affordable. The atmosphere changes one moment to the next, but never crazy. So if your looking for a simple solid blue-collar bar little Vic's is that.“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!
