“The decor is amazing and will definitely be back. My friend ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans and that was delicious. I ordered the house salad with goat cheese and a vodka soda. My only constructive criticism is for my meal and drink. My salad was pretty plain for the price ($12+ $5 for a skewer of dry chicken) I brought it home and added croutons, more candied walnuts/ cranberries and a lot more dressing, it was quite dry. I did a toasted sesame dressing and man was it freaking good after I spruced it up, salads shouldn’t be boring because they’re a salad load that thing up! If it came like how I made it I would order it every single time it was so good. And the last thing is my vodka soda was more like a vodka water cause the soda was flat, I asked for it muddled and it wasn’t. But I will definitely be back to try more things and probably just order a burger and beer.“
“Best old school classic American Chinese in area. Tacky old restaurant with lazy Susan's and weird bar. Giant koi pond that fascinates my three children. All food is delicious. Never had a bad dish. This is not a fancy Chinese restaurant, it's a strip mall that used to be a theater. I saw Lost Boys there in the 80's. It's wedged between a pool hall and a nail salon. There will be shady guys smoking, but it still will be worth it. Door Dash and Uber crazy, support in person or call in and pick up. They'll let kids feed the fish. I could put some food porn pic up, but I'm 47 and that's g & r. Go yourself and see.“
“We had our company Christmas party (60+people) and everything from the decorations, the food, price to the persons assisting us with everything were awsome, we fell in love with the place we will love to do more events in there.Thank you Chef Bill, your food was delicious.“
“I always enjoy my time at Cider & Cedar. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the bao and look forward to trying the new menu! Love hearing live music in this unique and laid back downtown space. Check it out - you won't regret it!“
“I have to prelude this review by saying I am a breakfast snob. I have rarely (maybe one other time) thought to myself after having breakfast at a restaurant "wow that was amazing, I couldn't have done it better" but I make some pretty amazing breakfasts. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! There was a huge line when we got there but it was so worth the wait. We had the blueberry pancakes which come with 2 eggs and bacon and the chicken fried steak which comes with your choice of sausage or chorizo gravy, 2 eggs, hashbrowns and toast. The food was so good we could stop eating and the waitress and host were so so nice. Stopping there really made our day! *didn't have the chance to get a pic of the chicken fried steak before we dug in lolVegetarian options: Pancakes and veggie omeletsKid-friendliness: Able to seat a large party with notice or a wait and great kids menu optionsWheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading into restaurant with no other stairs inside“
“We came here for a late lunch after doing an escape room. The food was really good! Two of us are vegan, one is vegetarian, and the other two are omni. Most of us ate vegan/vegetarian and really enjoyed our meals! The server was fantastic and our meals were really affordable (most of us spent $25 total). It is a dive bar, so the noise level was expected (it's hard to hear and you have to shout). It was also really dark in there. But nothing that would keep us from coming back! I highly recommend the vegan nachos! They were amazing.“
“This is one of my favorite places to go in Tacoma. The food is awesome, the music is cool, the atmosphere reminds me of my younger years of frequenting goth clubs, and they have pinball and skee ball, and a couch to sit on. If I had to say anything negative, it's that parking can be challenging, but that's just 56th street in Tacoma and nothing the Church Cantina can help. Great place to be on a Saturday night.“
“My wife and I enjoyed a delightful evening at El Gaucho Tacoma as we celebrated our 39th anniversary. Shelly provided impeccable service and the food was marvelous! We particularly liked the special recognition on the personalized menu and card on the table. Thank you for making our visit a wonderful experience.“
“Great relaxed atmosphere. I love the design of this place. Open windows in the summer, snug in the winter.Food menu changes, but usually something interesting to try. Most things are a hit, but a few misses in there as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Full access“
“I'm biased so I'll be simple. The atmosphere is great to enjoy a game, have a drink and eat amazing food. I love their breakfast, I'm a biscuits and gravy guy and they have the best around. I love the kraken tea it's... you should try it. Ask the burgers are great, the sides are well thought out and the entrees never fail to impress me.“
