The Mule Tavern Reviews
We were looking for a spot to eat outdoors with our pups and a couple of friends and happened on this gem. Delicious sandwiches, ginger beer and craft cocktails! We'll be back!
Fun atmosphere to relax after work. Love the tax included menu.
The best to gin and tonic I’ve ever had: . We had homemade ginger beer Mukes. We played connect four. The drag show was really cool! Atmosphere is eclectic, craft cocktails and you can get your rainier beer if you want too. The music was great for all ages. And thre was a mix of people. We will be back!!

The Mule Tavern offers great drinks and friendly bartenders in a dive bar atmosphere. While cigarette smoke outside may be a downside, the housemade Lime Brine and Ginger Beer are a must-try. The bar has a dive bar vibe with classy cocktails, making it a great spot for adults looking for good mixed drinks. The bartenders are knowledgeable and welcoming, which encourages guests to stay longer for delicious cocktails. There are also options for those who don't drink alcohol, as they make their own ginger beer and tonic water, perfect for mock-tails.
Customers appreciate sitting out on the front patio to enjoy a cold beverage in the sunshine, as well as the cozy covered back patio area. The place attracts an eclectic mix of people, including LGBTQIA+ folks, bikers, and college students, all enjoying this laid-back spot. While the food consists of simple bar options, such as sandwiches, Church Cantina is right across the street for those looking for a more substantial meal. Overall, The Mule Tavern is recognized for having great staff and a welcoming atmosphere, making it one of the favorite dive bars for many.
