Tortas Locas LLC is a hidden gem in South Tacoma Way, known for its delicious tortas and quesadillas made with homemade tortillas and authentic queso. The salsa roja is a standout, adding flavor to the flavorful sandwiches, which are moderately priced. The menu features unique options like fried head cheese and chorizo, all served on good quality bread that holds up well. Customers appreciate the tasty food and the warm, traditional Mexican atmosphere, even if occasional issues like missing items can occur. Despite small size, the place offers a heartfelt experience and is highly recommended for anyone visiting Tacoma.
