“I saw this first on Instagram and had to check it out. Called a girlfriend and she had not been there before either. As it turned out, another friend of hers invited her to meet at this downtown Tacoma cider bar. So I was the virgin customer because she was able to enjoy this place before our date. (Just friends).

“West 122 is an absolute gem! The steak and lamb were beyond incredible—perfectly cooked, tender, and truly melted in our mouths. It was such a pleasure meeting Executive Chef Keno and bartender David. Both were exceptionally engaging, offering thoughtful guidance on our food and drink selections. I enjoyed a perfectly paired wine, while my husband savored a fine whiskey—both recommendations were spot on! The entire experience was warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. West 122 has certainly set the bar high, and it’s definitely a place we will revisit!“

“Crafty beaver is a favorite local spot of mine. Whether going for a small catch up with friends, or going for their delicious flatbreads! My favorite is the bbq chicken.

Local selections of wine and craft beer. If you want to local experience of being a local here in Tacoma, this is the place to be.

“It's a cute little taproom to enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. And we went during happy hour. I spent $2 on my rootbeer. It was quiet and inviting. If they had food/snacks, it would be a hit. But you can bring outside food in and chill!“

“Our favorite spot to grab a bite in the McKinley neighborhood! Best pizza in Tacoma, amazing service from front and back of house, great prices. Times are tough and this is one of the few places we can enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. Nothing beats an ice cold Heidelberg and a Parky’s pizza.“

“Hands down some of the best sandwiches in town! Peterson Bros. 1111 never disappoints — the food is incredible, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is always awesome. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

“This place is perfect in many ways ! It is chill atmosphere parking is easy front and rear points of entry , one of the cleanest little watering stops around , bathrooms are extremely clean just a fun place ! My favorite reason Miller high life on tap and the owners are family 5 star“

“Great place, no sign on outside but seemed very well known as there were a dozen people waiting at 5pm when it opened. Delicious tacos and the best Cuban sandwich I have had. Drinks were great but good luck trying to pick! Our bartender Anna was top notch.“

Tuesday night $2.50 tacos, $3 PBRs, and a true, unfiltered Tacoma vibe.

Wide selection of cigars ranging from your mid tier Perdomos all the way to high tier Opus X & Arturo Fuentes... PLUS a lounge area with comfortable couches to smoke at. You can enjoy your stogies at the connected Bird Bar! The Bird Bar has a good selection of beer, liquor and the food exceeded my expectations. Stellar combinations in my opinion. “Went for the karaoke and was a little let down. It was a good crowd and lots of different music was played but unless you know the karaoke lady good luck getting a second song in. She kept her regulars in rotation. It does get busy on a Saturday night so you're going to wait for a drink. Food was pretty good. It's bar food and for some reason I love bar food. “What a cool place! This is the somewhat unnatural child of a coffee shop and tiki bar. You enter through an old roadside coffee pot shaped building. But inside are fake stuffed animals on the wall, bamboo screens, and just the wildest collection of stuff.

We had beer and onion rings, and sat at the bar. The day was young, and so we were largely alone. But I can see that this place can get hopping once the sun starts disappearing. The onion rings were good, and the beer cold. Prices are reasonable; they're not out to gouge you.

Come to this place and enjoy a great repurpose of the old coffee shop. Sit at the bar with a close friend in the unique double bar stools. And look around - you'll see something strange and unique everywhere you look.“

“Our server, Tyanna ( embarrassed to say we didn’t look for the spelling of her name) was absolutely a joy. She was pleasant, respectful, courteous, professional and all around great server. We went on Christmas Eve because we wanted a great meal, pleasant atmosphere and feel like we were welcomed and not disappointed that they were taking the time away from their family to make our experience great.“

“We came to Dirty Oscars for a change of scenery. We live in Puyallup. Food was ok. We got dbl bloody Mary’s, the traditional eggs beni and the elk hash. Hollandaise was good and the elk, sadly was not very flavorful. The thing that sucked and pretty much ruined the meal was when we go the check we were basically charged for 2 bloodys each! $28 for a dbl Bloody Mary. Doesn’t make sense when a shot of vodka is just $8! Asked manager and her response was “I don’t make up the prices. This is ridiculous!” We won’t be back.“

I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!
