“Very chic place, I cannot remember the last time I had roasted garlic and I ordered it, crostini's were so warm and garlic spreadable and toasty. Bonus points for all the scattered fresh fruit.

I also enjoyed the chicken and dumpling soup, but most of all the Mac n cheese was surprising I was expecting creamy, soup like Mac, but it was very much BAKED like someone's grandmama was back there
Could have used a little more seasoning which is understandable because we can always add our own if need be

“Found this little gem on a Thursday run with my running group. Stopped in afterwards and had the pear, arugula, goat cheese, and hot honey pizza. Wonderful pizza with all ingredients well balanced, albeit a bit messy. 😉 Was told by the bartender afterwards that next time I could add meat ingredients too. So if you want to guild the lily just ask.

The atmosphere was perfect for an intimate couple with soft lighting, quiet music, and dark colors. This would be a perfect cozy date spot (21+ only, so kid free zone). Plus, afterwards, there is gelato next door.“

Had a choice of salad or chips and a pickle accompanying it. The salad was very fresh. I don't normally like going to bars, but this place had a good atmosphere, and the staff was very welcoming. If ever in Tacoma again, I will 100% return.“

“Finally gave this place a try. Glad we did. We’ve spent a lot of time in Scotland where they do Haddock and chips very well. So I was much amazed to see Haddock and Chips on their menu. Not Cod or wildly expensive Halibut, but Haddock. And it was excellent. Beautifully done, chips were perfect and tartar sauce was great. Nice space and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be returning soon.“

Someone in our group was allergic to gluten and even though the options were limited, Dylan helped us find an option that was safe and checked with the kitchen to make sure there was no cross contamination! Make our night so much better!!“

“We've seen this wine shop on our visits to Tacoma but never really had a reason to stop in since our focus when we're in town is family and other events. However this weekend we were unexpectedly invited to a friend's house so we stopped by to pick up bottle of wine. What we found was a lively neighborhood wine bar and bottle shop. There were about 6+ people in the shop having a glass of wine, visiting and relaxing. The shop had a nice representation of wine from many different regions. We're partial to Italian and Spanish wines and were pleasantly surprised to see a nice selection of Brunellos, Rosso de Montelcino, Borrolo and Whites including Vermentino. The proprietors were knowledgeable and helpful. If we lived closer I could see ourselves dropping in occasionally to relax with a glass of wine or popping in for one of their tasting.“

“Good variety, but kind of expensive, as most pay as you pour places are. The only downside is the noise in the place. It was very slow and the noise was sometimes tricky. Can't imagine it on a busy night. Also, the AC was on and a couple people in our party were very uncomfortable as it was early March in the evening (cold).“

Good music, good for games or conversation, almost like hanging out at a family gathering where the dining room is the size of a bar. “Ordered the Tower Platter and it was excellent - everything was fried so perfectly and was delicious. Was enjoyed by all in our group even the baby. Can't go wrong with ordering food from the restaurant.“

“They have a small selection of food. The food was pretty good but you're not coming here for that. The stars are the atmosphere and the drinks. It is dark with lots of flickering lantern light. Everything is wood and there are all kinds of pirate kitsch everywhere but it works. It feels like you're an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean. They have a few beers and wines, but come prepared to drink some rum! The drink list is extensive with punches, groggs, classic rum drinks, and many new inventions. They are rated from 2-5 skulls. Do not drink a 5 skull drink and expect to escape unscathed. You definitely need a DD or an Uber after one of those! It will put hair on your chest, as my dad used to say. Strong but delicious. We tried each other's drinks and everything was good. Definitely a fun spot for a night out!“

I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!
