“Found this little gem on a Thursday run with my running group. Stopped in afterwards and had the pear, arugula, goat cheese, and hot honey pizza. Wonderful pizza with all ingredients well balanced, albeit a bit messy. 😉 Was told by the bartender afterwards that next time I could add meat ingredients too. So if you want to guild the lily just ask.

The atmosphere was perfect for an intimate couple with soft lighting, quiet music, and dark colors. This would be a perfect cozy date spot (21+ only, so kid free zone). Plus, afterwards, there is gelato next door.“

“Stopped by after a long adventure paddle boarding - so glad we did! We got the hand cut fries that were so crispy and seasoned to perfection, as well as the katsu quesadilla. The portions are tremendous! I don’t know what’s in that secret sauce but I highly suspect it’s crack. The staff was helpful in making suggestions, letting us try some beer to see what we liked, and so fun to talk to. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Cool little dive bar. I have been twice, once for trivia and another time it was karaoke. I didn't sing but a lot of people did and that was pretty fun. “Devil’s Reef has been on my tiki bucket list ever since reading about them in Minimalist Tiki. It did not disappoint.

I make a commando grog at home.. and it just doesn’t stand up to what they’re making at Devil‘s Reef. The rum builds, the syrups, the ingredients.. all of it is top notch. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly.

This place is a hole in the wall dive bar with lots of regulars and the best pizza and calzone I've ever had. Service was amazing and she brought our Bruno a pup-cutterie. “Good variety, but kind of expensive, as most pay as you pour places are. The only downside is the noise in the place. It was very slow and the noise was sometimes tricky. Can't imagine it on a busy night. Also, the AC was on and a couple people in our party were very uncomfortable as it was early March in the evening (cold).“

You can enjoy your stogies at the connected Bird Bar! The Bird Bar has a good selection of beer, liquor and the food exceeded my expectations. Stellar combinations in my opinion. “Stopped into Magoo's after a few days exploring Tacoma after many years, looking for something that felt like home coming from Chicago, and this place nailed it.

Tuesday night $2.50 tacos, $3 PBRs, and a true, unfiltered Tacoma vibe.

Jack behind the bar was outstanding. Professional, dialed-in, and handled everything like a high-end vet while keeping it completely approachable. One solid genuine bartender.

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!
