We started with the Formosa Roll and enjoyed the shrimp tacos and steak. The Formosa Roll was savory and spicy, the shrimp were perfectly cooked for the tacos and the steak came with potato spirals that I didn’t know I needed in my life, but absolutely do! A true gem of Tacoma, bravo Eric and team!“

“Solid venue. Good food. Friendly people. My one complaint: the sound was off. The headliner was low and hard to hear, so a lot of the jokes couldn't land. Does a sound guy check volume and EQ for each set? If they just turned down the bass, increased mids a bit and highs a good bit, and bumped gain by 10%, we could have heard him perfectly. So please fire the sound guy. A small child could have made a performance we paid $25 to see actually listenable and not lost in muddy lows.“

“This seems to be the same staff/owners of Indita Mia, just with a new name and menu. We had two different beef taco plates (asada and chile con carne) and a wet burrito with steak. They way overdo it with the onions but it’s easy to pick some off.“

My only critique would be that I didn't see tamarind as an ingredient anywhere after combing through the long menu. Still we found a few tasty tipples and had a lovely time. Everything fits seamlessly here, from decor to dessert cart... the experience is so much fun. Then there's the food & beverages... unrivaled is the best way to put it. Small bites, salads, full course meals, and anything we could think of from the bar. Champagne is the specialty, and after a conversation with Makaila (the bar tender) she chose the perfect bottle. Oh, getting a bottle of Champagne there is a treat too... trust me, just do it. The wine list is impressive, and the espresso flight is something I'm still telling all my friends about. We've gone with friends several times, and everybody has enjoyed every part of the experience. Check their calendar, some fun stuff happens there.
