About Le Sel Bistro

Le Sel Bistro in Downtown Tacoma offers delicious food and cocktails in a lovely establishment. The friendly staff provides excellent customer service with a pleasant smile. The Mushroom Medley on the brunch menu is a must-try for mushroom lovers, and the mushroom omelette made with locally foraged mushrooms is a delightful choice. The Eggs Benedict and drinks are tasty, while the cheesy grits and French onion soup are also popular options. The patio seating with comfy chairs and heaters ensures a cozy experience even on chilly days. Guests have praised the classy and upscale atmosphere, which remains comfortable and inviting. The dining room is quaint and cozy during winter, while the terrace overlooking Commencement Bay is perfect in warmer months. The tarragon chicken piccata is a unique twist that diners enjoy, and the lamb chops and desserts like creme brulee and strawberry cheesecake are also well-received. Many visitors mention the great view on the outdoor patio and the great food and coffee. While the food and service at Le Sel Bistro are highly praised, some guests feel the wine list could be improved. Overall, it is a hidden gem in Tacoma, especially for those who enjoy French food and a bohemian, posh atmosphere.

Great little French bistro style restaurant, the patio outside has a wonderful view and decor we got there right when it opened and it filled up fast after we ordered our drinks. A bit pricey for breakfast food but we'll worth the meal we got we will definitely come back again.
