“First time trying Uptown Grill today, and it’s no surprise that they’re contenders for (and previous winners of) the Best of South Sound! We tried their salmon fish and chips with sweet potato fries, chicken pot pie, and a couple of their cocktails, and dang it was delicious! They’ve got our votes from here on out in BoSS and we can’t wait to go back!“

“Haven't been in here since I was 15 and got a soda during the day when kids could go to bars until 9 pm.. I loved the atmosphere and it was a nice look inside. Nice staff. Well loved spot by the regulars. Will be back again. It is a convenient location that makes it easy to stop by while I am in town. Right on the bus line too and a hop skip and jump to downtown. “I’ve had lobster bisque all over…this place is the best I’ve ever had in my life. We went for the first time this evening and will definitely return. Atmosphere was amazing, we had an incredible server and the oysters were the best- I had kummies and tried the shuckers choice which was a local WA choice and they didn’t disappoint. “My wife and I both had the steak quesadillas, which were excellent. Very happy with the meal start to finish, the flan is flavorful and has a pleasant presentation.

The real star for me was the sangria. I first had sangria in Spain as a young Marine, and I've been ordering it wherever it's offered trying to find comparable. Jessica delivers perfection in a glass, the drink is both beautiful to look at and divine to taste. She really ought to make it by the barrel, she's got a gift.

I will most definitely be revisiting when I'm in area.“

“Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“BEST Bloody Mary around, and trust me, I have tried them all. The burgers are amazing, the salad, the specials, I could go on and on. All of that combined with attentive staff that always gets it right. Hard to find a gem like this, 10/10 recommend!!!“

“Wonderful atmosphere and great staff. And the food was excellent. Had a filet that was done to perfection, the heirloom tomatoes/stonefruit (peaches) salad was served as a caprese and delicious. Renee was a great server. Two for one wine on Thursday and a free anniversary dessert we’re a treat. We will be back!“
