Just ate here tonight for our anniversary and we will be coming back for sure! Atmosphere was perfect. Our table was ready at our reservation time- staff were all very attentive, made excellent recommendations on the menu. I tried the French onion soup and it’s the best I’ve had. Husband had a steak which he claims was the best ever. Flavor was perfect- cooked perfectly. I had the mushroom ravioli and it was luscious. The food was very well prepared. Not only were the steaks tender, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned, but the sides (fries and Brussels sprouts with some onions and nuts in a balsamic reduction) were perfect. The drinks were also well-crafted. Great to see a new place that doesn't just rest on the laurels of being a steakhouse.

We celebrated two birthdays at 1889 Prime tonight. It was our first time eating here. Oh my, it was so good! Everything from the atmosphere to the wine list was exceptional. I’m not a lover of seafood but the scallops have changed my mind.
