I cant say enough great things about this place. Service is attentive but not overly hovering, everyone looks genuinely happy to be there.. We had a great experience and will most definitely be back for more. I had the lasagna and it was the best I've ever had ( my grandma would roll over in her grave if she heard me say that but its true) So happy to have such a wonderful Italian restaurant in Lacey so close to home. Thanks for the wonderful experience! See you next time!”

“First time eating at Hotstone during a lunch outing. I spent a couple years living in S. Korea, so know the food pretty well. I tried the Bulgogi Bi Bim Bap bowl and my family tried also spicy pork Bi Bim Bap bowl. All three were served in the Dolset (hot stone) bowl. I prefer the traditional stainless bowl during the warmer weather months. Hotstone did not have that option though. Typically, the Bi Bim Bap bowls are served with a mixture of vegetable along with the meat and rice (Bap). As you can see in my photos, there is only meat and rice. My mistake for not ordering the regular version. The Bulgogi flavoring was very good and rice was nice and soft. Side Kimchi, cucumber Kimchi and radish were good, but I have had better. Overall, the food was tasty but missing vegetables that would have made it much better. Our server was very friendly. We parked near the lake and walked to the restaurant.”

“Let me start by saying the shopping center leaves much to be desired aesthetically, however, that's not the case with Aya. It's beautiful inside and the folks that work there are incredibly friendly and hard-working. The sushi is incredible the portion sizes make it a very good value. The chicken katsu was also verybgood. If I had any complaint it would be the fried rice. It's pretty salty and forgettable quite honestly. That means that you go here for the sushi and it's awesome Presentation was beautiful and unique. I recommend this place for takeout or a night out. I've eaten here a few times now and have yet to be disappointed.”

This has instantly become one of my favorite restaurants in the South Sound. We ordered several different empanadas, and every single one was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and perfectly prepared. We also tried other menu items, and everything was incredible. The cheese, avocado, sauces, and fillings were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The fresh fruit drinks and flavored waters were some of the best we've ever had—refreshing, delicious, and the perfect complement to our meal. Not only was the food outstanding, but the customer service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in serving authentic Colombian cuisine. If you're looking for something different, flavorful, and absolutely delicious in downtown Olympia, do yourself a favor and visit Don de la Colombiana. Epic bagels (My fav is taylor ham, egg, and cheese with SPK on everything bagel), and amazing quiche and sandwich specials. Every visit is an adventure, but there are also amazing favorites I come back for again and again (like the beet salad). The owner, Seth, brings the perfect combo of Jersey and fine dining, cultivating a creative and unique menu everything local and fresh. “We just celebrated our engagement this past Saturday and it was absolutely wonderful. My fiancé and I stopped by a couple months ago to check it out and we're immediately greeted by the owners and shown around. Cher was fantastic to work with and I love the touches you can add to make your event special. We brought in a few of our own decor pieces and had the patio area out back. PLENTY of space, kid-friendly, and the walk up bar is such a nice touch. We ordered a variety of appetizers and a fruit platter in advance for the event which was such a great idea. Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy. The staff was fantastic and attentive. Oh! And everyone loved the food. I love that there is a deviled egg on the app menu. The gochujang wings are so yummy and they make a mean club. I saw some burgers floating around that looked awesome as well. There are so many fun touches and I love the communal vibe. I would 1000 times over recommend hosting an event here. Thank you, Altitude 15.”

I really appreciated how attentively she took care of us throughout our visit. We ordered the spicy stir-fried squid(오징어볶음) at level 3(spice levels range from 0 to 5) and galbitang(갈비탕). Some people might find it unusual that the galbitang comes with egg, but this style does exist in Korea. I especially remember having it quite often a long time ago. Overall, the side dishes and everything we had were not too salty and suited my taste perfectly. Our first visit was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!”

My bill was $61 after ordering 1 drink, fajita salad and to hold off on the order to go, fajita quesadilla. Instead, she brought it to the table a good hour before we left and said its still warm. She never asked if I was ready to have it made or even leave. When I got home, the to go order was not what I requested, instead, fajitas. Very over priced and disappointed. Did price changes happen on the menu that do not reflect online menu?”

“There's only one El Sarape left in town so we decided to try it. It is not only freshened up outside, it is beautiful inside. The menu is not as extensive as it once was but the food was excellent. Kevin had the Carne Asada Fries and I had Chicken Nachos. UPDATE when I saw the menu I thought "oh, another El Sarape gone modern like the one that used to be on Capitol in Tumwater" But this was different, both the interior and the food still had that mexican food appeal...in an upscale way. The salsa was not saturated with store bought hot sauce or taste tinny like canned tomatoes. And the food was fresh and tasty and did not need to be smothered with salsa for flavor. And for dessert we had the churro with ice cream. And again, I was impressed! I'm pretty sure the ice cream was home made, along with the warm crispy churro, so tender. Then there was the small amount of caramel sauce. We didn't need more, it was rich and thick and creamy and tasted of rum. To top it all off, the bill was less than $60. Now that's hard to find these days, especially with quality food. And the staff was warm and friendly.”

“I had my first solo lunch experience at Budd Bay Cafe, located right along the boardwalk at Percival Landing Park. The setting is beautiful, with peaceful waterfront views and a steady flow of people enjoying a walk along the boardwalk with their families and pets. Sitting by the window with the sunlight reflecting off the bay created a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. For my meal, I ordered the Panko Style Pacific Cod platter, which was recommended by my waitress since catfish was unavailable. It was served with french fries, coleslaw, and sides of ketchup and tartar sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—with great flavor throughout. Everything on the plate was fresh and well-prepared. I also asked for a drink that was sweet with a hint of sour, and the waitress suggested one of their signature cocktails made with strawberry vodka, triple sec, sweet and sour, Starry, and strawberry purée, served in a pink glass. It was refreshing, balanced, and complemented the meal nicely. The service was attentive and thoughtful. My waitress made helpful recommendations and ensured I was comfortable throughout my visit, which I especially appreciated as someone new to the area and dining alone. Although I considered dessert, I was completely satisfied by the end of my meal. Overall, this was a very pleasant first dining experience in Olympia. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for good food, a calm atmosphere, and a lovely waterfront view.”

There was a mixup regarding checks with the neighboring table and she had her salad comped, but she didn't understand why. He explained multiple times (who complains that their meal is being comped???!) until he finally said he needed to keep moving to help other diners, and her dining partner actually raised her voice and cursed at him. He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.”

We live about half way between Olympia and Longview, due to traffic we usually go to the Longview Red Lobster. We have had many "ok" dinners at Longview. Yesterday we went to Olympia. The service was great and the food was perfect. The last month has been a rough one and we needed a good night out to relax. It could not have been better, Thank you. (P.S.
