I had my first solo lunch experience at Budd Bay Cafe, located right along the boardwalk at Percival Landing Park. The setting is beautiful, with peaceful waterfront views and a steady flow of people enjoying a walk along the boardwalk with their families and pets. Sitting by the window with the sunlight reflecting off the bay created a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.

First time. Had Pacific cedar plank salmon and clam chowder. Salmon from Alaska. Best I’ve ever had
Food was wonderful and service was great! drinks were great as well. our server and waitress were the best we have ever had. anything seafood is awesome. though my son asked for a rare burger it was well done but he still said it tasted great. portion sizes are pretty large so plenty of leftovers 😋

Budd Bay Cafe in Olympia, WA offers consistently good food and excellent service. The crab cakes and scallops remain amazing, and the Ahi burger is described as juicy, flavorful, and full of the right spices and sauces. The clams in Chardonnay broth and grilled chicken with fresh spinach salad are still outstandingly delicious. Guests recommend the Budd Bay combo platter and the beef salad with blue cheese, as well as the "Death by Peaches" dessert. The servers are wonderfully kind and patient, doing their best to provide good service. The outdoor seating allows for a pleasant dining experience, although the restrooms and waiting area are noted to be small. The staff are attentive, and the beautiful view of the harbor and Puget Sound creates a wonderful atmosphere. While some updates to the decor would be nice, Budd Bay Cafe remains a place worth visiting for its amazing food.
