If you are looking for a great restaurant in Olympia for Pizza or other Italian fare, give this place a try. “The food here was so good! We had fried dumplings, bulgogi, bulgogi bi bimbap, and their chicken wings, and it was all a 10/10. The food was served on a hot plate so our food was still warm by the end of the meal. The server was really nice as well! Highly recommend“

“We love Herfy's! Best burger in Olympia. It can be hard to get a place to sit when it's busy, we often share a table with people and make new friends 😏

We're also fans of a post 1 pm lunch and it's never too busy at dinner time.

Burger itself is meaty and not overcooked. Cooked to order so it comes to you hot! Condiments always correct and well portioned. Fries are crisp!

“Food A+ perfectly cooked generous 12oz NY steak & Blackened rockfish! Flavor excellent on all sides. Server A+, this was our first visit and Victoria helped with all our questions like family. After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

“Best bagel in town! Always getting the lox bagel! The area is open and has seating agains the walls. It could use some noise dampening items. Sat with a friend for coffee and gossip, and it felt like the whole room could hear our convo even we were talking quietly. The pastries are great as well! Oh, and they make coffee! “Haven't been to a lot of Korean restaurants, but loved how the options went beyond the typical bulgogi and mandu. The spicy beef soup was actually spicy but nicely balanced and rich. Banchan were bright and flavorful. Kimchee bibimbap had nicely crispy bits and great mix of ingredients. Staff are so nice and helpful. Can't wait to get back and try more options.“

“The service was great, they took our orders perfectly and made our food good and have amazing portions. The atmosphere was also great, the music was good, it didn’t feel like I was at a regular restaurant, it felt like I was at an Indian restaurant because of the music playing and of course the Indian food. I gave the food 3/5 not because of the food itself, the food was delicious. I personally like when a lassi is thicker, like a smoothie. I ordered the mango lassi and it was very watery and it tasted mainly like cream, with a tiny hint of mango. And I personally also would like if there was more meat with the dish.“

Smoking patio is dog friendly! Luckily I don't mind.the occasional second hand smoke.

Driving from the west, you may gawk at what may be the largest homeless encampment in WA; doing so, you'll blink and miss Fatso's. Next to the weed shop in a non-descript building, I had the fatso double cheese which is a great deal at $15.99.

Great house-cut fries as well. Only downside was that they charged for a tiny cup of bottle ranch.“

“We walked in around 4pm on Saturday. The restaurant was empty but they have a very good rate on reviews, I was afraid it would disappoint us but after saw the menu.. we like most of them, specially on the back of their menu has the all day house specials! I ordered the “pineapple lover” and my husband ordered “spicy garlic stirred fry” which were very yummy. Ended up with great food, perfect portions (for us) most of all great service!“

“Just visited tonight and as always, loved the food and service! Super sweet waitresses and delicious food. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and a plate of crab rangoons. My friend ordered the beef bulgolgi. We were both surprised at the fast service and generous portions. “We always sit in the bar and we always receive great service. I want to call out that Matt handled a really rude customer on 12/2/24 with calmness and kindness. There was a mixup regarding checks with the neighboring table and she had her salad comped, but she didn't understand why. He explained multiple times (who complains that their meal is being comped???!) until he finally said he needed to keep moving to help other diners, and her dining partner actually raised her voice and cursed at him. He should be commended. Our meal was fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, service quick, and sides all correct and accounted for.“

“We are new to WA and was excited to try out this place, but the pizza was disappointing. We ordered the giant Bulldog and it was BURNT. Not a nice crispy, but a disgusting, every bite we took, burnt pizza. For as much as we paid for it, we were super bummed.“

“Probably the best Pad Thai I’ve had - and I’ve had a LOT! Flavor was perfect, noodles and egg and chicken were all perfectly flavored and cooked! Ginger stir fry was also good! The Tom Kha wasn’t my favorite, but everything else was excellent! 🥰“

I am officially and permanently switching my loyalty; from here on out, every time I think of sushi, it will be with sheer delight and the knowledge that Aya Sushi is the only place for me.
​Other spots in the area are okay, and frankly, I wasn't always Aya's biggest fan - but after today, I realize they reign supreme.

In this County and all neighboring counties - Nothing else even comes close. From the taste and price to the presentation, this is the gold standard. Going anywhere else for sushi is just a mistake.

Between the food and the amazing customer service, listen up: this is the only place to go.

“This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“Charlie's came to our rescue when we needed to watch an NCAA volleyball match while we were away from our home! Not only did they put a bunch of TV's onto our match, but after everyone else left, they offered to turn the sound on. Amazing! The food was tasty bar food and the service was exceptional. Since it is downtown Olympia, the parking is either on the street, and then walk up to the food truck, or a small amount of parking is available in the lot. There are outdoor picnic benches to eat at, but there is considerable noise due to location.
But food was juicy and its served to go style so can be taken to some other location“
