“Been here around 5 times now. Their food is generously portioned and absolutely delicious every single time. Not once has been a miss. Probably some of the best fish and chips around, too. Last time I was here I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. The service is also great, polite, and fast. I don't think it's ever taken more than 15 minutes to get my food. Their prices are, imo, better than a lot of places. Especially since their portions are enough it's easy to take half of it home. Love it.“

“This was truly a great find, definitely a diamond in the rough. I didn’t expect such a welcoming restaurant. It looked busy when we walked in, but it went fast. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time in the restaurant. They told us how things worked and focused on the customer. They were very kind, not normally seen in restaurants these days. Very good hospitality. Ambiance was nice.

The menu isn’t so complicated and has fewer items on the menu to make it not confusing. The one item we wanted,they ran out, but gave us a sampler for next time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.“

I had been at T.G for hrs sitting with a friend. Needed to eat. I knew this was a cash or check only business. Completely spaced. Saw the sign as soon as I walked in. So I ask the gentlemen (i have seen there many times) where the nearest ATM is?
He says... oh dont worry about it. Let's get you fed and you can come back and pay us later.. This just isn't how our world works anymore. Let alone in Tacoma... The table was decorated with a long stemmed red rose and a birthday card. Our meal was so delicious! Cocktails, starters, dinner and dessert were pure perfection! Thank you chef(s). That was hands down, one of the best meals we have ever had! We are already mapping out what we are ordering on our next time here! “Good service and good food. But when we paid extra $5 for more meat of the Beef Short Ribs, we don't expect extra chicken meat...feeling being lied.

Edited: the owner is right. The option of adding $5 meat was for grilled chicken. I don't mind paying extra for the short ribs next time.“

“This restaurant is top 3 lunch/dinner spots in the state. I eat here at least once a week. Food is always prepared perfectly, prices are fair and competitive, and the staff are kind and engaging. I bring my kids also and they have a great kids meal that even my picky toddlers will finish. Recommend the lunch time specials- food portions are large.“

“It was such a pleasant surprise to find authentic Korean food in a small Korean community in rural America.

Overall, the food was quite good. The Mandu were not really to my personal taste—not that they were bad, but I didn’t feel they quite matched the price.

On the other hand, the seolleongtang was absolutely delicious, and I truly enjoyed every spoonful. The kalguksu was also very good. What impressed me the most were the kimchi and kkakdugi. They had that authentic Korean flavor I hadn’t tasted in a long time, and they really made the meal feel special.

Overall, it was a satisfying and comforting Korean meal, especially in such an unexpected location. I’m glad we stopped by.“

We went on Christmas Eve because we wanted a great meal, pleasant atmosphere and feel like we were welcomed and not disappointed that they were taking the time away from their family to make our experience great.“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

“Been coming here since I came with my great grandmother, Bread, delectable pies, Bread, danishes, Bread, Smith brothers milk, always wonderful service from the employees even throughout the years as they have hired anew which is hard to maintain if I may add, 100% feels like the place you take your family every Sunday to get your loaf of bread and a hand pie for the kids to split. “Oh my gosh. The General Tso chicken was really fresh and delicious. I had two stars spiciness and it was just right. My wife who doesn't do spicy said the chicken was good. She had chicken pho and let me tell you that broth was the best we've ever had. Even the chicken had this char grilled flavor that takes it to the next level.“

Parking was plentiful (until the new Asian market opens up in 2027 lol)
