“The staff is so attentive, the owners are so generous and kind, especially if you have kids. This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had and our favor restaurant near the tacoma area. Yes the menu is smaller but you can tell they put a lot of thought and love into their food. I think it’s better to focus on a few good dishes and have them be perfection than have a mid menu with a lot of items. Can’t say enough good things about this place!“

Clean. Clean utensils. Clean restrooms. Clean air. Clean water. This is one of the few Asian restaurants that are clean.
Courteous staff who serviced us very quickly.
Prices are fair.
Menu was an easy to navigate one pager with no grease to paste your fingers.
Tasteful music selection. Noise level isn't an issue for casual intimate convos.

Both kimchis are excellent. Comparable to hmart quality. Spicy beef soup were rich.

The only criticism I have is with the outside design. The pictures on the windows kinda made me hesitate to go in since I couldn't peek inside. However, once you're inside, it's a nice feeling to be insulated from the outside with the tinted windows.

This is a regular spot to keep going to.

Edit: Went another time bringing my family, but noticed less meat than the first time we came. Might have inconsistent portioning.“

The place had a cold draft, or maybe it was the HVAC, but it was uncomfortable. Our waiter was very pleasant and knew a little of the area history when I had commented about coming to this restaurant in the early 1970s. My companion used the ladies room and advised me that floor was dangerously slick.“

“Our favorite place now! My order: Unagi (nigiri), Vegetable Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special. Dad's oder: Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special and 5 order of maguro to go. The unagi was the best i have had in over 10 years. The tempura was light, crunchy and flavorful. My Dad is very particular about food and I am known to order the same item over and over. I have been trying different things and pleased with each one here. Everything was as good as it could possibly be. So happy!“

My husband had the bento (teriyaki chicken, bulgogi, fried rice and gyoza/egg roll) and I had chicken katsu that I shared with my little one. There was plenty of food to share. “If you’re craving legit Filipino food, Paraiso Filipino Resto is worth the trip. I had the sizzling sisig, halo-halo, and a couple of combo meals, and honestly, I left happy and full. The sisig came out still sizzling (and tasting amazing), just the way it should be. The halo-halo reminded me of the ones back home — traditional, not overdone, and really good. “It’s been 6yrs that I been visiting KKO KKO the family own Restaurant the owners Chung and James! Are the most beautiful people I got to meet!

When they make their unique flavors of Korean food it’s definitely tasty, hot, fresh made with LOVE, you always get same taste overtime we will visit! You might have to wait but I’ll say waiting for hot meal and fresh I’ll take anytime!

Our favorite dishes are Pork , Special Chicken, Honey Garlic Chicken, Fried Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Glass Noodles , Korean Pancake, and also the Seafood Pancake. I mean anything on the menu you can’t go wrong with!

At time this place can be busy at they might not fill your water, it’s that they are Ignoring you or not attending you, they are just making food for other customers but they are truly love to serve you with love, kindness want to give you a hot meal Generally care for their customers!

It’s a small restaurant it’s family owned they there bathroom are clean also their restaurant smell good, every time you walk in the kindly Greet you ready to serve YOU!

The only thing I don't recommend is the new Cheesey Stuffed Crust. The cheese is a flat layer inside the crust and adds nothing flavor wise.“

“This place is fabulous. Great service and amazing food. We went as a family and everyone had delicious meals with lots to the home. The molcajete is crazy huge, probably enough for three people or one teenage boy. It has chicken, steak, shrimp, nopales, sausage, cheese, avocado and comes with tortillas, rice, the best beans you've had north of the border, and salad. The tamals are enormous and delicious! The elote tamal is wonderfully sweet and dessert-like. The pupusas (we had zucchini and spinach with cheese) were so tender and yummy. We started with fried yucca and didn't really want the chicharonnes they usually come with so they let us have all yucca. OMG! There is nothing as crunchy and creamy as these fried sticks of bliss. The hotter of the 2 salsa they gave us was pretty spicy but so flavorful. The herbs and spices were used to bring out the flavors of every dish so well. I can't wait to go back. Might just bring an extra order of beans home.“
