“This was truly a great find, definitely a diamond in the rough. I didn’t expect such a welcoming restaurant. It looked busy when we walked in, but it went fast. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time in the restaurant. They told us how things worked and focused on the customer. They were very kind, not normally seen in restaurants these days. Very good hospitality. Ambiance was nice.

The menu isn’t so complicated and has fewer items on the menu to make it not confusing. The one item we wanted,they ran out, but gave us a sampler for next time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.“

“It was such a pleasant surprise to find authentic Korean food in a small Korean community in rural America.

Overall, the food was quite good. The Mandu were not really to my personal taste—not that they were bad, but I didn’t feel they quite matched the price.

On the other hand, the seolleongtang was absolutely delicious, and I truly enjoyed every spoonful. The kalguksu was also very good. What impressed me the most were the kimchi and kkakdugi. They had that authentic Korean flavor I hadn’t tasted in a long time, and they really made the meal feel special.

Overall, it was a satisfying and comforting Korean meal, especially in such an unexpected location. I’m glad we stopped by.“

So I have been all over Washington always looking for the best sugar cookie and I FINALLY found it! some places have good cookies and some have good frosting but no one else has both. “We had chicharones w/yuca fries & papusas. The food was excellent! It came out fresh and hot. The chicharones were tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside, just way it should be. “If you’re craving legit Filipino food, Paraiso Filipino Resto is worth the trip. I had the sizzling sisig, halo-halo, and a couple of combo meals, and honestly, I left happy and full. The sisig came out still sizzling (and tasting amazing), just the way it should be. The halo-halo reminded me of the ones back home — traditional, not overdone, and really good. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavors hit the spot. On top of that, the owner was so much fun to talk to — super friendly with great customer service. You really feel welcome here. My husband had the bento (teriyaki chicken, bulgogi, fried rice and gyoza/egg roll) and I had chicken katsu that I shared with my little one. There was plenty of food to share. The server/owner anticipated our needs and offered to go boxes before we even asked and gave us complimentary fortune cookies. The restaurant was clean and atmosphere was great. “It’s been 6yrs that I been visiting KKO KKO the family own Restaurant the owners Chung and James! Are the most beautiful people I got to meet!

When they make their unique flavors of Korean food it’s definitely tasty, hot, fresh made with LOVE, you always get same taste overtime we will visit! You might have to wait but I’ll say waiting for hot meal and fresh I’ll take anytime!

Our favorite dishes are Pork , Special Chicken, Honey Garlic Chicken, Fried Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Glass Noodles , Korean Pancake, and also the Seafood Pancake. I mean anything on the menu you can’t go wrong with!

At time this place can be busy at they might not fill your water, it’s that they are Ignoring you or not attending you, they are just making food for other customers but they are truly love to serve you with love, kindness want to give you a hot meal Generally care for their customers!

It’s a small restaurant it’s family owned they there bathroom are clean also their restaurant smell good, every time you walk in the kindly Greet you ready to serve YOU!

The only thing I don't recommend is the new Cheesey Stuffed Crust. The cheese is a flat layer inside the crust and adds nothing flavor wise.“

“This Salvadoran restaurant is a solid spot for comforting, flavorful food. You order and pay at the counter first, then they bring the food to your table.

We tried the revuelta pupusa, which comes filled with beans, cheese, and pork. It was well made, flavorful, and even better with the two hot sauce bottles provided on the table. We also shared the molcajete mixto, which came with a variety of meats and soft cactus. It was tasty and a great way to try a little bit of everything. Definitely make sure to scoop up the sauce and eat it with the tortillas.

The Jamaica and agua de ensalada are a must to wash everything down. Both were refreshing and paired really well with the food.

Service was friendly, but very minimal. Staff brought the food to the table, but it was hard to flag someone down since they often disappeared into the kitchen. There were no water refills or much table service beyond dropping off the food. Because of that, having the payment machine suggest at least a 15% tip at the counter felt a bit unjustified for the level of service provided.

Overall, the food was enjoyable and worth trying, especially for the pupusas, molcajete, and drinks. I would come back for the food, but with the expectation that service is more counter-style and limited.“

“The place is nice and clean. I like the fact that you get your rice in a bowl stone so its stays warm for a long time. The down side of the bowl stone is that the rice sticks to the sides and its hard to get off. The beef short ribs and pork bulgogi is really flavorful. The beef bulgogi could use a little more flavor but was not bad at all. Tried a tofu soup and it was delicious. The people are nice and your food comes out pretty quick. You get tea when you get seated at your table which is nice. Diffinetly a place to try. They have a selection of tofu dishes if you like tofu.“
