“A small family owned business owned by a very nice Korean family. I would describe this as pan-Asian cuisine. The Korean food is top notch as expected since the owners are Korean! “I've been reviewing places across this country for over a decade. This Happy teriyaki restaurant is the absolute best Japanese food I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful & very very clean. The woman serving us was such a charming sweet woman whom instantly made us feel very welcomed and our service was very fast. Food to the table after we ordered in under 10 minutes. Presentation of the food was phenomenal. very well put together. “Located in the entrance to Dupont. The Good_ Really good terioki and yakisobi. Other yakisobi places only give you like 3,4 or possibly 5 pieces of shrimp in your meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find i had at LEAST 10. a plus!
The negative. _Quite expensive! We got 1 dish of Terioki, 1 dish of Yakisobi plus 2 orders (4) egg rolls, NO drinks, NO other extras and our bill was nearly $50. Yes_it was delicious but I question the price tag.“

“This was truly a great find, definitely a diamond in the rough. I didn’t expect such a welcoming restaurant. It looked busy when we walked in, but it went fast. From the time we walked in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time in the restaurant. They told us how things worked and focused on the customer. They were very kind, not normally seen in restaurants these days. Very good hospitality. Ambiance was nice.

The menu isn’t so complicated and has fewer items on the menu to make it not confusing. The one item we wanted,they ran out, but gave us a sampler for next time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.“

“I’ve been to Italian restaurants in New York City and other locales, but this is by far the best. The decor reminded my spouse of her dinners at similar restaurants while living in Italy in the late 70’s. The server was very knowledgeable regarding the dinner menu and patiently answered our many questions. The food was delicious and plates were filled. Reservations are a must because of Bacco’s popularity, but remember to call a couple of days ahead of time, as from what I observed this restaurant is very popular. Parking is not an issue.“

Edited: the owner is right. The option of adding $5 meat was for grilled chicken. I don't mind paying extra for the short ribs next time.“

“This restaurant is top 3 lunch/dinner spots in the state. I eat here at least once a week. Food is always prepared perfectly, prices are fair and competitive, and the staff are kind and engaging. I bring my kids also and they have a great kids meal that even my picky toddlers will finish. Recommend the lunch time specials- food portions are large.“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

“It was my first time ordering and coming to Vans burger.

Ordered a chocolate milk shake, a burger and two order of fries. The burger was so big that I was able to share it with my daughter.
Shake was in a small cup.
Microphone is a bit old so you hard to speak a little louder and clear for them to capture your order.

Please be nice to the people working here, the time I went it was super busy and someone behind me was being a bit rude to them. The lady at the window who takes the payment is also the same person who is taking down the orders.

“I’m not sure if she was the owner or a staff member, but the woman who took our order had such bright, positive energy and was very friendly. I really appreciated how attentively she took care of us throughout our visit. We ordered the spicy stir-fried squid(오징어볶음) at level 3(spice levels range from 0 to 5) and galbitang(갈비탕). Some people might find it unusual that the galbitang comes with egg, but this style does exist in Korea. I especially remember having it quite often a long time ago. Overall, the side dishes and everything we had were not too salty and suited my taste perfectly. Our first visit was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I love sugar cookies. they are a lot of work so I do not like to make them. So I have been all over Washington always looking for the best sugar cookie and I FINALLY found it! some places have good cookies and some have good frosting but no one else has both. They make the perfect cookie with the perfect frosting. we also had the pumkin bar and it was absolutely delicious. we will definitely be back soon!“

“I have ordered takeout from here many times in the last few years and can't complain. High praise from other reviews are good indication of consistent quality meals they've been serving, hot and fresh everytime and its served timely.

My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and for Lunch Special get Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo for $13.99 (pre tax). It comes with two scoops of rice and side salad. Chicken Teriyaki is tender and has a great smoke charred flavor, sauce is not overly sweet or salty. Rice is good quality and texture, cooked perfectly.

The owner is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I read on other recent review that dine-in customers were served their meal in take-out containers and I can confirm that I saw a couple eating in at the restaurant today (while I was waiting for my takeout) and they were eating in takeout container as well. I know some places do this by default so I don't know if they've always done it this way, but I guess if I am eating in, I would prefer to eat my meal on a plate.

The location is in a newer plaza complex in Lacey with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out roundabouts. Great pricing too. They kept it true and consistent through thick and thin over the years!“

The teriyaki short rib was cooked just right and generous portion. Crab Rangoon was very tasty and I could tell it was made to order. Great menu with lots of options and very easy to order online. “Tonight I had the pleasure to try the cuisine at the new Port Orchard location. Yareli took charge of my order at my request. I was served the best fish taco's with Verde Salsa and lime. The three taco's reminded me of eating a chefs delightful creation at a high end Bistro. I was instantly transported back in time to Mazatlán eating on the playa. I would not order fish taco's normally and Yareli picked this winner for me. Each bite was followed by a uhmmm. I expected something to tear me out of this euphoric moment but after downing three taco's I was still firmly planted in Heaven. I was wise to drip the juices and seasoning from the taco into the rice. What a nice way to accent my meal. I braced myself for the refried beans that had grown cool but found them very fresh and delicious. Yareli inquired if I would desire a dessert. I asked her to pick it since her performance on the meal was top notch. Yareli provided a strawberry filled fried churro with the most delicate aroma. I would have licked the plate if I thought I could do it without being seen. Every bite was warm, sweet and delicious. Please don't think ill of me but the only downside to this experience was cheap silverware and the food is placed on a metal tray with a paper liner. It's my own fault after being in the military so long to develop a phobia over dining utensils. So in a nutshell my experience is on par with being given a shiny new high performance car but with the wrong style valve caps for the tires. I have been truly blessed to have this experience on a rainy night in Port Orchard Washington.“

If you are looking for the best and most bang for your buck, without sacrificing quality and originality, Trapper's is definitely your spot 👌. There were non existent wait times for a spot to sit at the bar. Upon seating we were immediately given water, just before a dashing server with stylish frames and french braided pigtails visited to take our drink and appetizer orders. This young lady was super attentive and checked on us every 5 min or so. The chef that was taking our orders as we went on through the meal was highly efficient and skilled, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and their ingredients. Execution was fantastic; everything tasted wonderful, and it almost seemed too good to be true that it was endless dishes for a flat rate. Ordering this way allows you to get the perfect amount your belly is seeking. 5 stars overall. There were a couple of ingredients they didn't have but it was all you can eat, so it's understandable completely. Would certainly go back anytime.“

“This is my new favorite Thai restaurant, hands down. It's on the pricey side, but totally worth it. So far, I've had the chicken massaman curry, satay skewers, and Thai iced tea - three of my favorite Thai dishes. I'm very excited to try more of their offerings though. They also have one of the biggest menus I've ever seen at a Thai restaurant.“
