The clam strips and fried okra are good, the tilapia and hush puppies aren’t. Fish was dry probably because it was from earlier that day and the hush puppies are sweet and chewy. I’d go back to try the gumbo though, it looked good. If you want something similar but better go to JJs, you won’t be disappointed.
Best soul food in town. Amazing frog legs! Best shrimp and grits and hush puppies I’ve ever had, hands down. Husband and I are from Georgia and haven’t been able to find a reputable southern food spot, and this is definitely it for us.

I ordered the large shrimp basket. The shrimp were bigger in size than most other places that serve seafood. The fries and hushpuppies that come with the basket are perfect sides for the shrimp. The housemade cocktail and tartar sauces are the best I've tasted, I'll definitely get an extra tar tar sauce on the side my next visit.
