“Best German Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I served in the Army for 26 years and was stationed in Germany for a total of 5 years. I’ve gone to Leave worth a number of times and eaten there too. We are lucky to have this incredible restaurant in Lacey.“

“This is a wonderful family owned cafe! We took my 94 yo mother there and they went out of their way to accommodate us and even stop by and say hello. The biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon french toast were delicious.

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia“

“I have ordered takeout from here many times in the last few years and can't complain. High praise from other reviews are good indication of consistent quality meals they've been serving, hot and fresh everytime and its served timely.

My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and for Lunch Special get Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo for $13.99 (pre tax). It comes with two scoops of rice and side salad. Chicken Teriyaki is tender and has a great smoke charred flavor, sauce is not overly sweet or salty. Rice is good quality and texture, cooked perfectly.

The owner is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I read on other recent review that dine-in customers were served their meal in take-out containers and I can confirm that I saw a couple eating in at the restaurant today (while I was waiting for my takeout) and they were eating in takeout container as well. I know some places do this by default so I don't know if they've always done it this way, but I guess if I am eating in, I would prefer to eat my meal on a plate.

The location is in a newer plaza complex in Lacey with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out roundabouts. Great pricing too. They kept it true and consistent through thick and thin over the years!“

My partner and I have food allergies (I have a gluten allergy and he has an allergy to gluten, eggs, and dairy) and not only did they go ABOVE AND BEYOND to let us know what was safe and what was not but even made my partner special rolls. Jameson has started creating a menu of the safe food for us with these allergies!! Cannot say enough good things about this Sushi restaurant 🫶🫶🫶 keep up the amazing work y'all!!!“

“First time order for pick up and so glad I tried them. A friend picked up so I am not sure about parking, etc. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I ordered the tuna and yellow fin. The teriyaki short rib was cooked just right and generous portion. Crab Rangoon was very tasty and I could tell it was made to order. Great menu with lots of options and very easy to order online. Kind and accommodating service. Highly recommended!“

“Went there for a retirement party. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The space was big enough for 75 people and very clean. Would go back to try their wine tasting 5 tasting for $20. I usually don't drink white wines but I tired the Reisling to bring home for a friend. It wasn't overly sweet, I would buy it for myself too.“

If you are looking for the best and most bang for your buck, without sacrificing quality and originality, Trapper's is definitely your spot 👌. There were non existent wait times for a spot to sit at the bar. Upon seating we were immediately given water, just before a dashing server with stylish frames and french braided pigtails visited to take our drink and appetizer orders. This young lady was super attentive and checked on us every 5 min or so. The chef that was taking our orders as we went on through the meal was highly efficient and skilled, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and their ingredients. Execution was fantastic; everything tasted wonderful, and it almost seemed too good to be true that it was endless dishes for a flat rate. Ordering this way allows you to get the perfect amount your belly is seeking. 5 stars overall. There were a couple of ingredients they didn't have but it was all you can eat, so it's understandable completely. Would certainly go back anytime.“

Got the item home threw it in the oven. Notice that toppings on the cowboy have were very thin as well. “Pho Tai is a great spot if you’re looking for good food and excellent service. The food is consistently tasty, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
The space is a bit tight, but you can usually find a place to sit without much trouble. It’s a solid choice and definitely worth stopping by!“

“Koibito One Sushi & Teriyaki has become one of my favorite restaurants. I've done takeout and had food delivered on multiple occasions. I've tried various sushi rolls, tempura (shrimp and veggie), teriyaki chicken and salmon, salads, and hot entrees. The food is always delicious!“

“We live very close to this place and we eat here regularly. The fmcrispy fish, basil catfish, garlic goodness, curry ect. Its all been good. Everything we eat here its great, and reliably so. The staff is nice, and its a cute little place to sit and dine in. 10/10“

“We had an office luncheon here. The staff was friendly and always upbeat. The food was not only fabulous but large portions. Even one’s food looked, smelled and tasted amazing. One of the best Bun Bo Xoa (Vietnamese noodle salads) that I have had in Washington State. Very clean establishment and restrooms. Their Pho broth had a deep complex flavor.

“I just enjoyed the best gyro sandwich I ever had in my life. I might order a second one before I leave.On top of that I think I was served by a Angel. This young lady was so polite and helpful she must have been visiting from heaven because humans are not that kind. Also she was so beautiful I felt unworthy to look at her. The combination of delicious food and great customer service was very impressive to say the least. They were getting ready to close as I walked in and they still let me dine in. I thought I would have to get it to go but obviously they really care about customers.“

“I mean it's an OG Taco Time and if you know anything about TTNW you know how good their food is. I love being able to order through the app & earn rewards. The limited time spicy tots are phenomenal with ranch too. Highly recommend. I like this location too because it's kind of tucked back from the traffic & chaos on the main road, with easy ways to get in and out of their lot.“

“I did a late night drop off of a car at a co-worker's house and had an hour left to get home. With a trailer, fast food was not am option, so I whipped into the parking lot near this truck about 10 minutes before 9. They were starting cleaning, so I went to turn around and they ushered me up enthusiastically. I grabbed a Carnitas Burrito Supreme and gobbled it up in the truck. Great size for the money, meat portion was awesome. The carnitas was flavorful; sweet with some good spice (weak taste budded white guy here, so take that for what it's worth). I got a little ahead of myself wharfing this thing down and destroyed a brand new Carhart shirt spilling the juices all down the front. Zero complaints and worth the price with the shirt factored in.“

The staff have always been friendly, the food tasty, and the restaurant clean and comfy. Sadly, the Froyo Machine saw its last...it will be missed. However, everything else remains in top form.“

“I love getting take out from here! They have a huge variety of options. We can find something to suit all the picky eaters in my family. I love their chicken breast teriyaki and salmon nigiri. My fave!
If you haven't, give them a shot. They have nice specials through door dash and fair pricing.“
