“I don't leave 5 star reviews. I'm not easy to impress at 5-star level. That *needs* saved for the best of the best, otherwise it serves no purpose. This restaurant is the finest steak I've ever ate in 40 years. Good beer. Eeeeeextraordinary service. Memorable experience for a lifetime. Ben did great, as did the very young man at the front with brown hair. The team coordinated well, the Tomahawk was so good, my gf cried (she likes food okay?). It was her birthday. I tipped well but will be sending a gift in the mail for this wonderful, literally perfect experience. One of my best friends runs the hottest restaurant and bar in Kailua-Kona. He's famous. He would also be proud. Good jobs men, you deserve something special. As a man who's grown from homeless shelter to making millions (as a business owner), I know how hard it is to find good help. The owner is going to want to retain these kids. They are kids...the need trained, but keep these kids. They have a myriad of personality characteristics both good and bad, but with the right teacher...I see a lot of potential.I will be sending a card with some cash. “My score definitely changed after I ordered a meal to go for my daughter. I ordered the Creek salad. Which was absolutely delicious. It has crisp lettace, mandarin oranges, grilled onions, pineapples, cashews, grilled chicken, bacon, and craisins with honey mustard dressing. I loved it! I knew my daughter would, too. I'm not sure why, but the chicken looked slimy and was chewy. Also, it wasn't grilled. I'm not sure how it was cooked. Definitely wasn't the same as mine. I forgot to take a picture of it to compare. You would have seen no grill marks. The salad itself looked like it was just thrown in the to go box, not placed nicely. Also, no dressing! What the heck. The salad is $16.99 for a full plate for mine and $ 11.99 for a half for my daughters. I was very disappointed. Her sweet potato fries were very good. So that was her dinner. Our waitress was very sweet. As night went on, it became busier, but she still checked on us. We arrived around 3:30 pm on Tuesday.Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately, they do not offer gluten-free breads anymore. I'm not sure why. “I’m back first time I listen to but my husband did very well. They have poker, black jack and other table games. Food was good we had the calamari and TSO chicken with white rice. Our bar tender Stephanie was on point and staff was welcoming. Hopefully I do better today ..“
“We found this spot while driving around looking for somewhere to grab a beer. We like the outdoor seating and the decorations are fun! The bartender was very nice and I would like to come back to try the food. I can tell they are doing something right as many locals call this place home.“
“We have been coming here to this location since we got stationed here in 2010.Some of the faces have changed and others have not. I love the fact that the ones that have stayed remember who you are!The food is always hot and made quickly, Even when it's packed.The parking lot is a bit tricky to get in and out since it's on a busy road... but worth the trip!!!“
“I want to thank our server, Shy, for her support and great service. Unfortunately I have had to cut sugar, gluten, and dairy from my diet which makes eating out very stressful. Shy was more than happy to make sure I could find something to eat and I felt confident in her after she shared she has restrictions as well.
