“This is our favorite place to go! The food and service are always amazing. We also love the fact this is a Family Owned small business. We want to keep these families who live in our community and their businesses going. Stop by and check them out…their food is consistent and good!“

“7/20/2024. Unassuming neighborhood pub, Nordic-inspired interior. Exposed wooden beams, wood-paneled walls envelop diners in rustic embrace; minimalist design embodies hygge—coziness and contentment. Chicken fried hamburger steak, a revelation; supremely fresh patty, tender beneath light, slightly sweet batter. Caramel-hued biscuits, fluffy, moist interiors; ample strawberry preserves in charming ramekins. Belgian waffle, enjoyable despite browning; fluffy interior bolstered by generous pour of real maple syrup. Unexpected star: fresh, sugar-dusted donuts, warm from fryer. Five delectable morsels per order, perfect for dunking into rich, bright Dancing Goat coffee—local Olympia roast. Petite ceramic creamers add touch of charm. Attentive staff ensure cups remain filled, needs met; friendly banter enlivens inviting atmosphere. (Thanks, Tish!) Glossy coffee cups sans saucers, side of donut preserves elevate experience. Cozy oasis seamlessly blends simplicity, comfort; hygge-filled haven for locals and visitors alike.“

“Nice place to watch sports. Lots of pull tabs and beer. Lots of TVs and everything is very clean. The menu has recently been updated and the prices on Google and the website are wrong. Everything is about $3 more. See my pics for the new menu.“

“This tavern is a gem. The food is cooked with care and you can tell when you get it. The brussel sprouts are a huge hit at any time. I tried a "special" called the CodFather yesterday with a hand battered piece of cod, topped with fresh sliced pastrami and some cheese on a slathering of coleslaw on a bun. It absolutely works!“

“I came in the afternoon and I ordered the Breakfast sandwich and the Hot Wings on the menu. The Breakfast sandwhich was the kind of delicious that makes you role your eyes in surprise and was easily worth $6. After I devoured that I was brought my hotwings. Even just smelling the hotwings cleared out my sinuses and made my mouth water with urgency. The taste is perfect, the wings are large and the spicey level is perfect. Just enough real burn from real hot wings without needing to douse yourself in water. This place has the best food prices in town on food and that Tavern fare you already love.
Now onto the other parts of 4th Ave Tavern. The interior reminds me of a frontier tavern, with a worn away floor and that Washington wood interior that is so common in Seaside and mountain Washington towns. The building is clearly old and I wonder how patrons have pass through here since its construction. There are plenty of bar games and pool tables and a side patio. On the weekend nights this place is jammed with locals and those in town looking for a good time. Even with the crush of people all around, I still navigated my 80 pound puppy through here with ease. Every one was polite and kind and I enjoyed the atmosphere along with a drink. My review is, come here and eat and drink and watch Seahawks games. Mind your manners!“
