“We've driven through/past Enumclaw many times, but this is the first time we were actually in the "downtown" area. There are so many restaurants/pubs and wine bars it was hard to choose which one to have lunch at. We chose this one at random...and it was an "almost" great choice. We were here around 12:30 on a Tuesday, the place was busy but not packed. We sat down and a young person gave us menus and took our drink orders, returned with them right away and then we waited......it appeared that there were two servers and one bus person (the one that took our drink orders) both of the servers walked past us several times until we stopped one and asked if we could order. She immediately apologized and said she and the other server split/swap tables and thought the other server was taking care of us. I appreciate this system as it allows each server a fair share of tables, but you need to have a very clear communication system to be certain things like this don't happen. These days my Hubby and I often split meals, which is what we told the server, and we got the French dip with sweet potato fries and also a side of garlic fries. The server asked us if we wanted any sauces with our order, we got the tarter and the garlic/pepper mayo, both house made and so good! The garlic/pepper mayo had just the right amount of pepper. The garlic fries came out first and they were amazing!!! Hot, fresh and they top them with an herb garlic which has so much more flavor than just garlic. We got the sandwich with Swiss cheese and sautéed onions. They put the sandwich on two plates which is always appreciated. The sandwich was just okay; the bun was supposed to be toasted but just felt/seemed stale. The cheese wasn't melted and the onions were stacked in the center. The meat had a decent flavor, nothing spectacular, but there was plenty of it. The au jus was okay, again nothing special. Despite the initial server mix up, ours was attentive and friendly. We liked the look and feel of this place, their drink menu looked interesting and reasonably priced. We both agreed that we should come back one evening and check it out.“

“The Mint is always a fun place to eat at! I’ve been 3 times now and have had great experiences each time. The atmosphere fits with the rustic and rural vibe of Enumclaw which is fun, they have a few pairs of skis on the back wall which is a cool vibe in my opinion. Their burgers are great, specifically the Mint burger and bacon jam burger. Most recently I got the Beecher’s Mac and cheese with chicken which was delicious! And you can’t forget about the fried pickles! They’re a bit pricey but I think they’re really yummy. I would definitely recommend for a fun date night/night out or an after-ski meal like what we did on Monday!“

“As previous comments mentioned, this is the last spot before driving up to Crystal or Rainier. Stopped here on a Sunday night after a drive around. Very welcoming & staff were all amazing. The area is nice, typical bar with pool tables, booths and bar seating. The place is covered in $1 bills with written notes on them & you can leave one as well. I ordered the naches nachos with ground beef (which is huge btw and shareable with 3-4 people) and it was pretty good! It comes with sour cream and salsa (which was okay). My friend ordered the Tavern Burger which he said tastes like a homemade burger and was good. There is a late night menu with limited items starting at 7pm btw! I was lucky enough to arrive before 7 to order some food. I did not get a chance to get a photo of the limited menu but it does not include nachos and a burger so arrive before 7pm to get this. Overall I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something to eat before or after the mountains!“

“The atmosphere is super relaxing. We were greeted and seated right away. Old fashioned was delicious and beer selection is impressive. The food was awesome. Tasted fresh and homemade. Stuffed cabbage was very well seasoned, delicate and just excellent. Tasted authentically Polish and without unnecessary ingredients. Blintzes were a perfect desert. When we visited, there was a jazz musician playing a clarinet which was what I needed on this moody, drizzly spring evening. We will be coming back for sure.“

“This place is wonderful and the owner is super friendly and welcoming. My husband and I were looking at homes in the area and she sat with for a while to give us some insider knowledge. The food just topped off the experience. Everything is made from scratch so plan to spend some time just relaxing and shooting the breeze with the other patrons while she cooks up your order. The homemade Clam Chowder was soul warming. The iced tea was good and strong without being bitter. Portions are hearty and you definitely get your money's worth. My husband ordered the Prime Rib dip with horseradish, and it was the most explosive savory experience he's had in a long time. All of the veggies were fresh, the cheese and abundant and the rolls crust was well crisped.I had the Grinder and it awesome. Chicken bacon, cheese. And tangy Ceasar dressing. It came fresh out of the oven and my only complaint was that I ate too much Clam Chowder to get through even half the sandwich. We highly recommend this place and hope to be able to return after we make our move to WA.“

“I was deployed here for a few weeks during wildfire season and I met the most wonderful staff, bartenders and servers. I ate here a handful of times; the food was so good! Better than I expected. The only reasons I gave it three stars for atmosphere was because hours weren't consistent and because of the karaoke on Friday, and again on Saturday. One or the other would have been fine, but both nights?!? Aside from that I really loved this place! The staff was fantastic, and I will definitely come back the next time I am in town. ⭐⭐⭐⭐“
