“This unassuming spot has the nicest staff and unexpectedly great food. I had chile relleno for lunch and it was zingy and really special for a lunch plate. The chile itself was so fresh and flavorful, and the filling was a great complement--not a thick/greasy cheese, so maybe goat? And herby. Mmmm. Now I want to go back for dinner.“
“HIDDEN GEM!1$ wing night was hard to believe at first, but after eating 20 of them I can say there better then any wings I’ve had before. Not only that, my server Anthony was very kind, welcoming and put extra effort into helping me when I needed it, great staff and great food. 110% would recommend“
“We finally got here on Christmas Eve. Easy parking!Steve was very welcoming and took care of everybody very well.We got our drinks in record time - a great Dirty Martini, and beer my husband liked. Then fried spring rolls, very tasty! Gochujang wings were nicely spiced and very crispy! There was a special of stewed pork with 5 spice that was so good I wanted a big plate of it! And so many more things to try! We hope to be regulars on weeknights.“
“Quintessential Bar and Grill in the Heart of Tangletown. Flip Flop and Crocs kind of place. Don't expect to sip a fancy cocktail while enjoying hors d'overs. This is draft beer at a perfect temperature. Unpretentious food and super friendly service with a few well placed TVs showing local sports. Great place.“
“Awesome dive bar with cheap beer. We ordered apps (mozz sticks and nachos), which were amazing. Fun atmosphere with college football on the TVs. Also, they have pinball and a few arcade games. I will definitely be coming back to watch more UW games!“
“Yes, me and my friend were treated to an awesome time at this establishment called A 1 Shop. North Greenwood area. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the server/ bartender named Hayley checks all the boxes. I urge you to check this spot out.“
“Happened to drive by this place on a Saturday night. It was a busy weekend in Seattle with supercross going on & the Kraken playing the next night. This place was packed when we walked in.Servers got us seated fast, there was tons of people there so it took a little wait to get our orders in but the drinks and Seattle Dogs came out quickly. We had to wait around for the waiter to come back to pay the bill but other than that it was a nice pit spot for us Portland folk visiting. Really loud and we sat at a giant festival picnic table with other people.Loved the Seattle Dogs - first time trying it. Lots of drinks on the menu! Cheers!“
“This small out-of-the-way Georgetown bar has literally the best barbecue in Seattle. We've actually got a pretty up-and-coming barbecue scene, and Raney's is leading the way. Their brisket sandwich is bar-none the best I've had, and their Thursday/Friday ribs special is excellent as well.If you find yourself here, or happen to live along the 24/33/124 bus route, definitely give them a try.“
“Comforting HK style food. The black pepper sauce was delicious with the tofu and vegetables. This is a perfect option for vegetarians. I am glad they're expanding their dietary options. The sizzling meat sauce spaghetti was so comforting and flavors were on point. If you want the most well rounded meal, the udon, beef and vegetable sizzling plate is for you. Joe pours the perfect drinks and is so friendly. The HK French toast is a must!“
“Great pinball machines, atmosphere was fun and not a young crowd I would say. I am 33 and felt like I was in the perfect environment for my age and level of intoxication. Would definitely recommend for a chill Friday avoiding a huge crowd. Bartender was extremely kind and had all the answers. Did not eat food so I cannot review that piece professionally“
“I loved it, but the wife thought the food was salty. The beef was the best (her words), then the chicken, and then the pork collar. The cauliflower was also very good, and we would have loved to have tried the octopus without the marinade. I would give it another go, but I think I would be going solo.Your tastes may vary, and I'd still give it a try if are interested. Fair warning... It's a little on the pricey side.“
“I had a great time here! I’ve never been before but some of my friends and I came and we had the best time! Our server was phenomenal and I wish I could remember his name but he was tall and has dark curly hair, and he was so kind and attentive! He really made our experience so much better:) The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so cool and fun! 10/10 would recommend!“
“What a lovely surprise!! We got off the LRT and decided to take a longer route back to our hotel on 2nd Av., The Courtyard Downtown/Pioneer Square. When we turned back onto 2nd Ave, we walked past Collins Pub and took a look at their menu and decided to stop in. So glad we did!!!!!Rebeca was very welcoming AND, checking out the list of draft beers, I discovered Russian River’s Pliny the Elder which we had when we travelled around the USA in 2014-15. We ordered clam and corn chowder -delicious!!! - and with Rebecca’s help, my husband ordered the burger and I had the house salad. We were very pleased with both dishes. The house salad was huge and the burger was the best he’s had in a very long time!! Wish we had found this spot earlier in our stay instead of on the last day!!!! A great neighbourhood pub with a wonderful chef and a delightful and engaging manager. Cheers!!“
“This place has excellent service and amazing food! We came on a Sunday night and got the blackened salmon Caesar salad, the BLTA and the Bourbon burger. The salad was my favorite, but the burger was also fantastic! They have free pool on Sundays, so we stayed for a few rounds. The service here was above and beyond, we were really happy with everything and will definitely be back again soon.“
“For a dive bar on Auroara, we were shocked! This place has the best fish and chip we have ordered in Seattle. We came from out of town, and this place's food is just unbelievable! The chips were fantastic. I, literally, did not want to stop eating them. I, seriously, recommend this place!!!!!!! And the bartender was amazing!!!!“
“That food is outta line good for a hotel restaurant! The chowder actually does have salmon and clams in it and the consistency is thick like it should be. Not to mention they actually give you a decent size cup or bowl. The side salad is fresh and delicious. That steak was fantastic! The bartender somehow manages to give good service despite being very busy.“
“Went in for drinks, stayed for the shuffleboard. They have board games as well.Nice low-key neighborhood spot. Which I prefer to the atmosphere at the brewhouse next door. The parking lot can get kind of nuts, but you most likely live in the area, so walk or take the 7, the stops are close by. Everyone is better off not driving to a bar.I hope to be back soon, I had a good time.Kid-friendliness: Bar, no kids“
“This place had all the markings of a typical dive bar. There were plenty of TVs to watch sports and a couple of pool tables. The interior was dimly lit with more tables and seating in the back. It was a neighborhood bar with a lot of locals and frequent barflys.Their website said that their happy hour is from 4-7pm but when we arrived at 6pm the bartender said it was actually 4-6pm. She told us though that "it's not happy hour but our stuff is cheap anyway" which was a funny exchange and gave us a chuckle. She was right though because wells were $5 and the Moscow mule was $8 (although it was just okay). We played pool, watched some TV, and just hung out. It was a cool vibe.“
“In town for a doctor’s appointment and on our last night we were looking for a place near our hotel. We saw the reviews and menu choices and decided to try McCoy’s.Our waiter Trevor I believe was his name, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the place. My wife had the New York medium rare and I had the Ribeye rare. Both were cooked to perfection. We had an order of onion rings to share before dinner and had plenty to take home. The dinner salad was just the way I like it, with no beans or beets. The blue cheese dressing was the best that I’ve had in a long while. Turns out they make the dressing from scratch. The baked potato was large and tender. The beer was cold and the choice of music was perfect. Nice to find a place that’s casual and with good food. I can see why the locals would love this place as a go to spot. We’re planning another doctor’s appointment and we can’t wait for another visit to McCoy’s Firehouse. ?“
“Tacos are very good and full English Breakfast during the Premier League early morning games AMAZING. English breakfast is served with HP sauce. Great drink selection, variety of nights including bingo, trivia, music video DJ. Only down side there’s a Manchester United flag on the wall ?“
“Cool place! Went early in thr afternoon before it got crowded. Drinks were made quickly. Pretty good, with fun options. Fries were delicious and shared easily in a group setting. Definitely need to go back and take another chance at the night life plus the brunch.“
“Team work! That is what the Wolfpack saw tonight at this charming lounge. Stu our bartender made sure my beer was ice cold. He served up a refreshing vodka cocktail toMy wife.Stu’s bar back Evan had his back in replenishing the bar stock! Both are joined by incredibly talented servers Samantha and Michelle. I learned that Michele even has a she wolf version of my wolf ring. We left elsewhere to watch college football but we were delighted to find that the team of Stu, EvanSamantha and Michele were still on their shift. Make no mistake, we stopped in for a night cap. And as Samantha and Michele both told me, it was time to howl at theMoon! Their teamwork resembles a tight nit Wolfpack!“
“The Lamplighter is everything one wants in a neighborhood bar. Plenty of TVs for watching sports, free pool, pull tabs for days, and epically friendly staff behind the bar and in the kitchen.Parking: If the parking lot is full, there's plenty of street parking around.“
“Anyone who rates this place less than 4 stars needs to learn what a dive bar is... This place is AMAZING!! Phenomenal staff all around! If you get attitude it's cause you're drunk or rude. Bartenders are always right. You don't like that? Please do everyone a favor and go somewhere else! I live blocks away and this has been my go to bar before and after games or simply for a nightcap for years. It's loud, it's crazy, it's so much fun!! I bring all my friends here!“
“Walked past one Sunday and saw that they were polishing their wooden floors.(they were immaculate) I head back on a day when they were open and they were playing TV Girl, Alvvays, Tame Impala?!Food was great, beer was excellent and some great tunes were playing.Making my way back right now.“
“Went the day before St Patrick’s day. Great vibe all around, crowd aged 22-45ish, everyone getting along, wanting to be a part of what was going on. Karaoke came and set up around 830 which was a surprise and lit the place up even more. Bartenders were super nice, didn’t have to go out of your way to get service, they served in order of arrival which was refreshing, and impressive given how populated the bar was.“
“From the time you walk in the door the atmosphere is amazing the people are amazing and the food is even better. The staff was super nice to an ol southern boy from nc and I swear it was like 2 min from the time I ordered my food till the time it came out. Highly highly recommend and next time I'm in this state and area I will Def be back. Absolutely love it in here. Yall are amazing.“
“Great place to catch a bite before a Kraken game. Amazingly, the place is always packed from wall to wall with NHL fans, yet the staff manages to keep a quick table time and can get you in and out in under 45 minutes. Awesome stuff guys, keep it up!“
“This restaurant is located in the quiet lower level of Nordstrom downtown. Of course, there is no view to be seen but very few distractions either. Our group of 3 was able to converse without combatting ambient noise. Seating consists of booths along the walls and tables in the center with cloth napkins and silverware. The staff is attentive and courteous, the service is quick in case you're short on time. The menu has sufficient options and the food presentation adds a touch of elegance to your dining experience.“
“I found this place to be quite fun. The bartenders serve good drinks , by that I mean you get what you pay for. It is a freepore bar not machine fed. There was a lot of bikers that were hanging out there and they were friendly. It is an old bar but a clean one also. worth the trip to go eat and mingle with people.“
“Relaxing local joint. The staff was friendly and attentive but did not hover. We were encouraged to enjoy a pint for as long as we liked. On the surface, the menu was pretty standard but the food was high quality and delicious. What they do, they do WELL!“
“Love this place! This was our 4th or 5th time here and I'm always impressed by the great service. This was my first time coming for happy hour and the happy hour deals can't be beat. I got the fried chicken sandwich with a side Caesar (included) - it was delicious, so much food (the salad was much bigger than a "side" salad portion and the chicken was a good size), and so reasonably priced. The interior of the taproom is so nice and clean! Overall, extremely cozy and chill ambiance“
“Stopped by for a laid back place to enjoy a flight. Lots of options to choose from. I really like that the tap house serves both Seattle Cider Co and Two Beers. The flight tasting was fun. The place is huge, with a large outside patio as well. I do believe it was dog-friendly because I did see a few. We didn’t try the food on this cost but May in the future.“
“I’ve been coming here sporadically on Sunday nights for years now and never thought to write the review this taste of Tennessee rightfully deserves. Serious musicianship happens here where people take brave risks, encouraged by the usually regular crowd and encouraging supporting environment. The bar is staffed by the best bartender ever and even the door man picks up a bass guitar and rocks out. Delightful surprises are common here and I’m so glad there’s a haven for folks like me.“
“My family and I went on an off day for the Mariners, so it wasn't busy or crowded.First off, the service was top notch, all around quality experience.Food was good, no complaints with what we got (pizza, wings, fries, burger, house made chips) - I'd say the wing portions were a bit small for the cost.Beer was good - they brought in a quality brewery to supply beer, so that was a given to be good in my boom.Atmosphere was fun and well put together - my kids enjoyed talking about the baseball memorabilia hanging and talking Mariners history.TVs were frozen for some reason so we couldn't watch the Mariners road game, and nobody seemed to care about trying to fix it, so that was weird.Cost - I mean, idk, you're essentially paying what you would in TMobile, so yeah, the prices are pretty high but it didn't shock me. Personally I think the beer price needs to be knocked down $1 per pint and some portions need to increase a touch - and they happy hour hours stink.Overall, we liked it and had fun - but in the future likely only back for a quick snack and drink pre or post game - nearly $200 for 4 people (2kids) with 2 alcoholic drinks and a few main dishes w/ apps isnt worth it.“
“After a very very long day, we were looking for a great drink & a good quick bite. Exceeded our expection. The bartender greeted everyone by name & took the time to get to know all new faces.Food yummy & flavorful & drinks were perfect.Definitely a fun eclectic artsy atmosphere.“
“Our waitress, I believe her name was Stacy, blonde woman who went to Shorecrest high school, was the best! The grilled chili shrimp with the pineapple slaw was very good..and the sweet and spicy brussel sprouts were the best brussel sprouts I ever had. Great food, wait staff, and atmosphere.“
“This is my go to spot for coffee and new fave of a prime rib breakfast burrito. The staff are wonderful accommodating my pooch with doggy biscuits I tried a cheeseburger this week that was excellent And what stuck out for me was the fries were not salted, a big plus for me being salt restricted for health reasons. Heartily recommend and will always return.“
“Great beer and cider options, bartenders very helpful with tastes.Pinball fun too. Our dog got a tiny taste of bacon, so he'll never want to leave. Human food is also delish--we tried cheese stix and also chicken bitz with miso-ranch and house BBQ. Yummy on all counts. No handicap parking but plenty of wide spots (looks like there's a ramp but it starts a ways away). Huge kudos for the plenty-large, handicap-accessible, all-genders restroom!“
“Went to Greenlake Bar & Grill because they were hosting a charity donation dinner for the Adams County Pet Rescue where I adopted my dog three years ago.I’m so glad I did! The food was delicious, service and food timing was excellent, my cocktail was great, and the ambiance was perfect. I ordered the meatloaf and my boyfriend got prime rib, both were excellent! We’ll be returning and we recommend that you check them out as well!“
“I had the pleasure of going here last night with my neighbors. We hadn’t found our local watering hole since moving here about a year ago. Well, last night we fixed that problem! The Reservoir is probably the coolest neighborhood bar around. When you walk in, you walk into a huge room with pool tables, a tall wood bar, good music, and friendly staff. We got our drinks and headed out back to the patio area. There was a grassy area, a shed with a very large tv in it, a covered smoking area and picnic tables under a separate covered area.We met the owner who was such a nice lady. We learned that they’d just reopened after a series of setbacks that took 5 months to fix! She was very proud of being able to take care of her employees during that time and I really admired that about her. You could really tell how deeply she loves her bar that’s been in her family since 1991.Haven’t gone into the Reservoir? CHANGE THAT AND GO!!! You’re gonna have a blast.“
“Haven't been here for ages but walked by almost every week. The menu was updated, and there were plenty of great selections on their happy hour list.Went with steak frites (medium) and fish and chips. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the fish was moist with thin crunchy batter.Fries were hot and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. We'll be back for sure.“
“Very cozy, the bartenders are really nice to you, they have this patio that has like a bonfire area which is very nice so you can hang out with friends even in the cold. They have a thirstday (Thursday) I think they have promo on that day on drinks.“
“Kathy helped me reserve & set up a table in the main karaoke area for a friends birthday party, and I can only give the highest praise to Ozzie’s & the team. They had the table decorated before we arrived!! Sara did an incredible job making the environment fun while helping us through the entire night by giving great recommendations, being upbeat and even bringing stickers when a joke was made at the table. Even after more people arrived at karaoke night & the night was incredibly busy, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Ozzie’s for any future karaoke fun. Thank you Sara!!“
“Pike Place Bar & Grill is a restaurant in the market on the 2nd floor with some decent views of the market. Parking around here is impossible, so be ready to walk. To get here, you go inside the buildings across from the market and go up to the 2nd floor via stairs or elevator. Their menu is a good size and prices are OK considering the portion sizes. The food is OK, nothing too crazy. The service is good, the staff is helpful and usually around waiting to help. This place is pretty empty during the week so it's easy to get inside but weekends can get mobbed due to more people visiting the market - especially during the nice weather months.“
“We’ve come here twice and it’s been amazing both times. The first time we were here, you could tell they were busy - the owner stepped in and helped wait tables. Friendly, cheerful service, delicious beers fall off the bone wings, and excellent food. Totally worth it!“
