Great clam chowder and salmon chowder! Dad and I walked to the Locks and watched the small one in action, then back out the entrance where the Lockspot Cafe is located. Ordered lunch from the friendly staff, was quick service. Great food for a reasonable price!
Let me start by saying that the service was EXCELLENT. Nice, efficient, helpful waitstaff. It was clean and smelled really good.My friend had the salmon omlette which he said was fantastic. High praise indeed from my friend, the chef!My order, on the other hand, was so-so.I started out with clam chowder. It was ok, but after the first few bites, I started to get a soapy after-taste. This is my go to spot for coffee and new fave of a prime rib breakfast burrito. The staff are wonderful accommodating my pooch with doggy biscuits I tried a cheeseburger this week that was excellent And what stuck out for me was the fries were not salted, a big plus for me being salt restricted for health reasons. Heartily recommend and will always return.
