Really cool little dive bar, had a few good food options compared to most dive bars and the patrons are nice and welcoming. The bartender was a younger blonde girl (I forget her name) and she was very sweet and quick with my drink. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes a nice neighborhood bar.
Thunderbird is your typical dive bar, consisting of a normal sized bar area, a few tables, and a few pool tables as well. Inside is usually pretty dark, but it shares a wall with the strip club next door so it's a local hang out spot when the strippers next door are off or on break. Great spot for locals that know what to expect, but they can get a little aggressive towards people who haven't been here before when the strippers start to solicit them. This place had all the markings of a typical dive bar. There were plenty of TVs to watch sports and a couple of pool tables. The interior was dimly lit with more tables and seating in the back. It was a neighborhood bar with a lot of locals and frequent barflys.Their website said that their happy hour is from 4-7pm but when we arrived at 6pm the bartender said it was actually 4-6pm. She told us though that "it's not happy hour but our stuff is cheap anyway" which was a funny exchange...read full review
