Apparently they’ve been open for 97 years!
Check it out, go for a pint and a game, and support a treasure. Gentrification has closed so many good dive bars. It’s nice to see one hanging on. We will be back!!

“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

“Been reading about this burger for months now, and I finally willed myself to go down there to check it out. I had the double tavern and the chili fries. I’ll start with the fries, crispy and hand cut. The chili and was great and the sour cream and scallions were a nice touch. Huge portions though so they’re great for sharing. Now the burger, I had moderate expectations based off reviews and pictures. I always leave establishments disappointed when I have higher expectations so I came in with an open mind. I decided to dine in because all food tastes better when it’s Hot and fresh, and it was just that. The meat was cooked perfectly, the cheese melted all the way through, and the sauce was nice and light. The onions gave it a nice kick as well. It was very good. Beware, although it is a double, it is kind of small, so you can definitely kill a couple of them before you start feeling full. It’s really good overall, and I’ll definitely put it in my top burgers in Seattle (probably right next to The Red Mill.) These burgers were also a nice change of pace to fast food burgers, more expensive and the fries are extra but really worth it if you want just a nice, juicy, messy burger. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu items.“

“Targy's is a gem. Neighborhood dive bar with plenty of character and plenty of characters. They've got great service, plenty of craft beers on tap, and every liquor bottle known to man. “We had an incredible time at Ozzie's! We were from out of town, celebrating my husband's graduation, hoping to watch a non-Seattle sporting event. Working with Kathy leading up to the event was so positive and accommodating (and even go the graduate balloons to celebrate!) and our server, Rose, didn't bat an eye at our group of 11. She remained so positive and kept us in the loop. Ozzie's allowed us to have sound and put the game on all the TVs in our seating area. If we're ever in Seattle again, I'll be going to Ozzie's!“

I was a bit worried we wouldn't be welcome since it seemed like a space that exclusively catered to queer men, but everyone was incredibly friendly and nice. “I like this place a lot. In actuality it probably doesn't deserve 5 stars, but that's what I like about it. I just have never had a bad time there. Sometimes we get a table right away and sometimes we don't. Sometimes we get a better table; sometimes we don't. But everytime I've enjoyed myself, and my experiences with the staff have always been good. I also really like that you can order food from next door and bring it in with you.“

The prices and food were amazing and Pete kept us thoroughly entertained! Driver couldn’t check on my order as they had stapled the bag shut! “A great rooftop deck for enjoying a cocktail and feeling the city around you. Unlike a high rise rooftop where you’re paying extra for vibey drinks 100-feet above the street, this is a second floor rooftop in the heart of Capital Hill. Also one of the best boozey slushies, and they actually have booze in them. Most of the cities boozy slushy‘s are SLUSHIES with a little booze. These are proper cocktails.“
