About Boxcar Ale House

Boxcar Ale House is a laid-back dive bar with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is approachable, and the venue is dog-friendly. There is plenty of seating, along with games and a covered back patio where customers can enjoy football games, fresh air, and good food. The menu offers a variety of options, including the popular chili, chicken sandwich, and French dip, all at reasonable prices. The bar also features solid happy hour specials and bar food, with vegetarian options like a veggie burger, fries, and onion rings, as well as some meatless and dairy-free choices. Easy free parking is available around the area. While not kid-friendly, the Boxcar is a favorite local spot for sports, karaoke, or catching up with friends, especially when Jesse is cooking. The atmosphere is authentic and unpretentious, perfect for those who enjoy a true dive bar experience.
