“We had the Italian shrimp and the chicken parm plus the Chasing Lions Pinot Noir. Excellent! We need to get the recipe for the chicken and rice soup recipe. We have been to this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Delicious food and excellent service!“
“This is a local gourmet burger shop 5 minutes from my house I have only eaten here a handful of times over the past 10 years but my daughter wanted to go by here the other day so we decided to give it another go. It seats inside about 4 to 6 tables. It's very cozy and comfortable a nice little place to sit inside and eat plus there's an outside patio or you can just grab your food and go. Doesn't have a huge parking lot but there is enough for maybe 10 to 12 vehicles. But it's a very cool place in downtown Gig Harbor the food was good that we had we had absolutely no complaints I would definitely recommend it“
“Beautiful, iconic Tides Tavern is a legend in Gig Harbor. It sits right on the water with boat access and is, as it has always been, a kid-free zone. If great service, great views, and decent but overpriced food are your jam, this place is for you!“
“Morso is a hidden gem in Gig Harbor. This upscale wine bar on the water is the perfect spot for a date night or girls night. The menu is hand crafted with local ingredients and the service is top notch! My mushroom chicken pasta was delectable and I think I would eat the baked goat cheese appetizer every day of my life. I highly recommend stopping in here!“
“Delicious group dinner at Table 47 with two tables full- food and atmosphere was excellent, inviting and relaxed. Server Maya did an amazing job with ordering, communication, service and separate checks all around. Very gracious and competent professional service! Dessert is worth staying for, and the pastries at the front case looked beautiful as well. Try the Brussels sprouts appetizer or the broccolini side dish to accent your entree, soup or salad. The flatbreads were amazing!Vegetarian options: Why does this quiz only ask about vegetarian? Table 47 offers lovely vegetarian salads, soups, and flatbreads however, if you’re pescatarian, then I would definitely try the fish - where they have anything ranging from halibut to shellfish bowl. I enjoyed the bowl of shellfish!“
“Never had a diner like restaurant servers open the door for me but they do here if they are near it and you are walking up, interesting not sure if it's policy though. The garlic fries are really good. I can't tell if the fries are made in house but I get the feeling they might be.I've had the Western Burger a few times, they definitely don't skimp on bacon or burger patty.Overall feels like a local community diner.“
“BUFFALO MILK is all I’m going to say lol! No, just kidding but you must try the stuff. My girls went back the next day to get another round after I left town! We ordered these three meals and shared them all so we could try as much as possible. The lemon curd and blueberry French toast was not tart and bitter like some of the lemon French toast I’ve had. It was not too thick or hard to cut through. It was perfectly custard and the whipped cream was nice and thick too. The frittata from pics online looked like it might be dry but IT WAS NOT! That mushroom frittata was maybe my favorite thing of all. But that sour cream pancake my gf pretty much adored just as well. They were fluffy but dense if that’s possible and very buttery and delightful. We are already planning our return because I need that buffalo milk coffee in my life.“
“tl;dr -- If you find yourself in Gig Harbor, or are in the Seattle/Tacoma area LOOK FOR THIS TROLLEY. Marketplace Grille! A vision, a feast, a wholesome memory of food and friendliness that everyone deserves to experience. If I could give 6 stars I would!! My friends and I had to leave a nearby restaurant b/c I forgot my ID...(I'm 31, but have a round face). We came across this trolley and thought, "Why not? It looks cute and smells AMAZING"...wow. It did not disappoint.FOOD WE ORDERED: I had the Broiled Halibut Sandwich, friends got Fish and Chips, Shrimp Croissant sandwich, and the Paella (curried!) and we all LOVED it. We also shared an order of calamari and it was so...delicate? Unbelievable. The food was extremely fresh and the fries especially could breathe life into the dead, I swear. So crispy and fluffy and perfectly seasoned at the same time.ATMOSPHERE/SERVICE: The woman who took our order told us it was her and her husband that worked there together and it was a family-owned operation. She was so friendly and inquired about us as well. There was also some Caribbean music playing which was such a vibe and the couple were from Trinidad and Tobago so the whole experience from the food to the service to the atmosphere was just incredibly welcoming and wholesome.OVERALL: My friends and I were in town for a festival and we all marveled at how LIFE-GIVING their food would be at any concert venue, especially those fries. I wish we had taken pictures of our food but we simply dove into it all as soon as we got it. There was also such a diverse group of customers -- a group of teens with fishing lines, families, my group of friends as well... :)Kid-friendliness: Literally a group of teenaged looking boys came by with their fishing gear and sat nearby chatting and enjoying themselves and their food. Loved it. Families with kids were also at ease in this space.“
“Bigger coffee cups please. Us coffeeholics need our liquid nourishment. Would've liked have condiments offerded to us once the food was bought to us. But that as the only slight minor hicup. But a overall great experience. Woild definitely recommend this place. We will ne back.“
“Friday fish and chips special was very good two piece was more than enough for me(6 ft + 300 +) was crispy on top but a little less so on bottom. The onion rings were great. Service was stabbed out checked on you appropriately and very polite. Also have a good beer, wine and liquor selection.“
“Great service and tasty food, Taylor was awesome! The kids enjoyed their food and strawberry lemonade. The Brussels and the chili were delicious and the tacos were loaded with really flavorful beef. Looking forward to going back soon to try the wings.“
“Almost made a southern boy cry. Literally some of the best BBQ since I moved West. Melt in your mouth pork shoulder, brisket and ribs. Tell granpappy he can leave his teeth out. Couple that with great sides like the cooked greens with red onions, potato salad and slow-cooked blackeyed peas. Paired all this with a Kentucky mule with a spicy ginger kick. Perfection.“
“This place is cash only, so come prepared. I had the corn beef hash, which was amazing, my partner had the country fried steak with the tastiest gravy and my friend had a skillet which she said was good. Highly recommend for breakfastParking: Behind the building. If busy, parking might be challenging“
“Best dining experience I've found in Gig Harbor hands down. The wild boar Osso Buco was good, but the chef crushed the braised shortrib. I'll definitely be ordering that next time. The Cambozola appetizer was subtle, sophisticated, and bright in just the right starter portion. The ambiance is fine. The designer had a soft spot for hexagons and textural elements, but the windows looking out on the harbor are just too small and too high for being so close to the water.“
“I know the owners and they run a tight ship. This is a place where you can go an play some pool, maybe do some karaoke or even have a trivia night. The only think I have not been able to talk him into is having live music again.Don't get me wrong, I understand his reasoning and it's valid, but sometimes I just want to listen to some live music. The Staff are amazing and most of the people are really great people but just like any other Saloon, you gonna have that one person to have to much of something and act a fool.Trust me that get taken care of real quick. If you think you might act a fool, this is not the place to visit.Ok Y'all in closing I give this place a big thumbs up for many reasons.“
“So not gonna lie it was pretty much a dive bar/restaurant. We went for the first time tonight because of Halloween Trivia. We ordered 3 sodas, a basket of tots, wings, and a massive plate of nachos and it was like $40. The food was good, the atmosphere was great. Service was ok. I think one or two more service staff would have helped them out a lot. We will definitely be back for another tri“
“Dexters is such a homey, classic shop. The food is straight forward and delish! It’s a great stop for something filling and lovingly greasy. I also saw a couple people getting just milkshakes so those must be super tasty too! I’m definitely coming back for “
“Blazing Onion offers a fantastic dining experience that stands out for its cozy ambiance, innovative menu, and exceptional service. The staff, led by the incredible General Manager Ashley, creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel special. Ashley's passion for hospitality and her ability to ensure every detail is perfect contribute significantly to the restaurant's warm and inviting environment. This gem truly deserves its five stars, not just for the exquisite food but also for the extraordinary experience curated by Ashley and her dedicated staff.“
“Great experience having breakfast with my wife. The service was great. Order was taken promptly and accurately, and we were regularly checked on and serviced. Food was of higher quality than typical of restaurants with multiple locations. And reminds me of restaurant quality of 20 years ago just without linen napkins and set tableware. I recommend this location for a dine in breakfast experience. Love the orange juice. The quality always surprises me.“
“Idk who was cooking back there today, but that was one of the best burgers we've had in a long time. It didn't seem frozen, was shaped like we grill them at home, super well seasoned, and man.... just wasn't expecting that? from Applebees of all places. We were almost a little embarrassed with how yummy it was ?“
“Arrived Friday morning for our 11:30am reservation and were seated soon after our arrival. Interior is clean and we were seated near the gas fireplace which was nice on a cold rainy day in March. Service was friendly and our server did a very good job anticipating our needs before asking such as refills on my Coke Zero – yes, they serve Coke Zero here!Wild Seafood Sampler served with three different sauces was good but quite pricey and in retrospect, we would have both been just as satisfied if we had just placed one order for the Wild Hand-cut Calamari and split it.The Wild Seafood Linguine Alfredo was served hot and was very rich and quite tasty; however, I was quite surprised to find it topped with wilted basil leaves that were obviously not fresh. The Wild Alaskan Halibut with mushroom risotto was also tasty; however, again we should have just ordered one of these Lunch Entrees and would have been quite satisfied. With tip, our $151 lunch for two with just one beer and a coke zero was quite pricey but both the service and food were very good. If we feel like having a very nice but spendy lunch, we will return.“
