“I’ve eaten in this location previously. The current experience is a huge improvement over the prior experiences. The food is nothing short of excellent - all of it. I don’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant anywhere and liked every single thing we ordered at the table. Great quality, nice proportions and solid presentation. Easily the best restaurant on Vashon right now. Highly recommend.“

“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!“

“An old fashioned hardware store turned into a modern day restaurant. The few remnants of the store are a handful of photos and cast iron stove.

Portions are generous and service is friendly. There were four of us and we had the brussel sprouts which were too salty, hippie black bean burger, Cesar salad with too much dressing and poke bowl.“

“I've been getting burgers from perry's burgers since it has opened. I have to stop every time I come to vashon. The food is amazing. I really enjoy the food. Looks like most of all the bad reviews are more about his stand on his political stand then the food which is so unfair to leave a review on that's instead of the food. Thanks for the great food. “My daughter and her wife treated me to lunch here on Galentines Day. I highly recommend! The menu is a great mix of Mexican food, American food (I had a Denver omelette which was excellent), sandwiches and burgers and a great selection of sides. I highly recommend the baked brussels sprouts with bacon and a tasty glaze which we all shared. They serve beer and wine and a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages. Compliments to the chef! Wendy our server was super sweet and attentive. It's a small, clean place with a chill vibe. Give it a try....you won't be disappointed!“

Food: Both breakfast and dinner have always been a hit. Food is tasty, fresh, and filling. For breakfast I enjoy the scramble or steak hash. For dinner, the Caesar, Brussel sprouts, steak, and burger are very yummy.
Seating: Comfy seating with plenty booths. If going on Friday/Saturday night try to get a reservation.

One last item for breakfast. Biscuits are super yummy - love with jam. Not sure if it was off recently, but most recent biscuits were not as big, fluffy, and buttery as previously?

But I feel like if I did this should be the level of cooking I should get. The buttermilk biscuit and creole chicken with that honey and cream sauce was absolutely AMAZING.. “I've come to this place since I was 11 years old, the food is the same the place is the same. If you are looking for good food good price with little to no fuss this is the place for you. I especially liked that I went in and ordered my food separate. The guy taking my order changed my option to the meal making the whole thing $8.00 less. He did not have to do that, I would have paid for the food separately but he went out of his way to make it more affordable for me.

“Went there tonight and it was packed since it was football playoffs. We had outstanding service, Everytime a glass got close to empty someone came to ask if we wanted a refill. The food was outstanding as well. I ordered a custom made sandwich and even though they were crazy busy it came out hot and exactly as I ordered. Love this experience. Will be back!“

What really sets this place apart, though, is the sense of community they’ve built. Everyone feels welcome, the staff genuinely cares, and it’s easy to see that they put thought into creating a space where people can connect and have a great time together. It's a fun place, and is kid friendly. It's somewhat 'group seating', as there are a number of long tables with chairs. It's not the easiest place to find (go through the Inn's parking lot)

There are lots of pinball and video games, and they take quarters, so you won't leave with a bunch of tokens in your pocket.
The pizza isn't bad, but I wouldn't go there just for it. We stayed for some of the trivia, which was fun and got everyone there talking to each other, as you swap answer sheets to do the scoring.

Oh the Milk Shakes are to die for!

The food was delicious though the burger was a tad smaller than id like, but it was juicy and cooked perfectly. My only real gripe is that I was meeting a large group and found that they only had one space setup to accommodate such a number, which was their square corner nook by the front door.“
