Any steak…. Crab cakes, although have been reduced in size. UFO, halibut stuffed with crab was the best thing on the menu…. However not available anymore…. Hopefully the halibut stuffed with crab will come back on the menu soon….
My wife and I both had the halibut. Perfectly cooked with mashed potato. Order side of asparagus, also perfectly cooked. Drinks, salad and dessert. Service was very good. First time at the new location and it was a great experience. We will be back!
Scenario: Require Sunday evening dinner in West Seattle on occasion of family friend arriving from Houston close to 8pm. Reality: Contacted Open Table on Sunday afternoon to update reservation, originally for 2 at 8pm, now requesting change to 8:30pm. Received almost immediate confirmation of change from Open Table & Jak's Grill. Arrived at 8:40pm.....now Jak's service engages! Jak's Grill offers a dining experience that is consistently perfect, with food, staff, and atmosphere making the experience memorable. The service is always friendly, super helpful, warm, and inviting. Servers like Paige, Connor, and Conner H are exceptional, efficient, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food is tasty, fresh, and filling. Breakfast items like the scramble, steak hash, and biscuits are super yummy, though the biscuits were recently not as big, fluffy, and buttery as previously. For dinner, the Caesar, Brussel sprouts, steak, burger, pork chop, country fried steak, and French Dip sandwich are very yummy. The Wild Boar Short Rib Paperadelle Pasta dish is back on the menu. The prime rib sandwich is incredibly delicious. The steak salad and steak and eggs can sometimes have tough steak, not the norm. The seating is comfy with plenty booths, and the high booths help with noise for an intimate and private dining experience. If going on Friday or Saturday night, try to get a reservation. Overall, another excellent experience at Jak's, highly recommended.
