Top notch fries, normal cut but battered.
I got a smaller cheeseburger and it was still filling with fries and a drink. The other burgers look good and I want to come back for the cheesesteak“

“Always a great place to meet friends. Food better than average for sure. Beer selection really good. And price is definitely right. Dive bars will beat the price for crap food but for some tasty food pay the extra dollar at Whistle Stop.

Parking: Limited street parking. A problem with Renton not the businesses.“

“Saw the great reviews so decided to give it a shot. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall next to a gas station. Getting in and out is slightly tricky. The food here is top-notch. Everything I tried was really good and this restaurant is a nice neighborhood bar. I would say the food here is Asian fusion with some American flair. Definitely a good and unique experience. Will be back when in the area.“

“Came here with a group of coworkers to celebrate two of their birthdays. I do not drink and usually don't go to bars. But the atmosphere here was pretty chill. The food was excellent and with service to match. Malik was our server and he was very friendly, accommodating and fast. I ordered the pizza and also some wings. Both were delicious but i really liked the pizza. We are putting this place in our regular rotation for places to celebrate workplace birthdays.“

“I know money shouldn't be considered when tasting a meal, but in this with how delicious the food is, I have to consider it. The food is slightly overpriced, and if a side of bacon is 5-8 dollars, I'd reconsider getting it even though they have high quality food and bacon in this establishment I'd say not 8 dollar bacon worthy. Still, the food is great in quantity and quality. Don't be mixed up on this review. I'd say the best they have is farmers' omelet.“

“Good all around poker casino, the only real issue i have is it seems that the regulars get some differential treatment in the cash games. players not in hand discussing hand in play things like that without any warnings given. Things of that nature. Maybe being a little picky, but there are some curtious type rules for reasons.“

“Stopped in last weekend randomly because we wanted a burger. We were in a hurry because my son had to go to work so we picked the closest spot. The food was shockingly delicious. I had a burger...I think it was jalepeno burger. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. My son got the cheese burger dip, daughter got the breakfast burrito. They both loved their food. The drinks were also spot on. The bartender was very nice and gave great service. I wish I'd gotten her name. Definitely recommend and would go back again just for that burger.“

“Love this place, we have been going here for years. I crave their broasted chicken & jo jos- the best! I loved the gizzards but those are no longer on the menu. I was so disappointed, what happened to your fish? We were there a week ago and I was so bummed- it was not the crispy, delicious fish of the past. It looked anemic and didn't meet my expectations of the best fish (cod)in the area anymore. So sad. I'll stick to the chicken now.“

“I went on a Saturday and it was packed. All ages and stripes, it seemed. Very nice crowd..the karaoke was varied with a deep que, which suited me. A young lady was having her birthday and was feeling no pain. I don't drink and didn't eat, but I will be going back. It's a great place to spend a quiet night. LOL“

“I popped into silver dollar about a year ago for some social time. I wasn't a gambler by any means but was curious about card games and it was always tough to learn at the big casinos, especially when all the plexiglass glass was still up and you couldn't hear anyone talk through their masks.I walked in and was invited to sit down at pai gow and watch how it was played. The dealers explained the hands, and how the game is played for me. The other players at the table also explained things and were super friendly, chatty and welcoming. They were always there to lend a hand and make sure when I started to play that I was playing it right. The atmosphere was very laid back and the dealers were always super friendly.I would stop by now and again and play around with $100 here and there. Running into familiar faces, continuing conversations, and blowing off a little steam was welcome after so long in hibernation during the pandemic.I became a regular and was treated to comps and match play, drawings, and usually won some money here and there. But most importantly treated as a friend by other players and of course the staff and dealers.The dealers are top-notch. Many of them have or do sit on the other side of the table and understand the feelings of winning and losing. They are empathetic and caring, always compassionate if you're having a bad luck day and always trying to be helpful to bring you back by sharing tips or ideas on how to double up. It doesn't always work but they try.I see a lot of negative comments about service, and I know there are limitations at times due to only one server on staff covering an entire floor, the bar, and the restaurant. Not to mention bar backing, cleaning, restocking, prepping, and everything in between. Some of you complainers need to learn a little patience and compassion.. and not to mention, how to tip.. bless your hearts..Anyways, it's not what I'd call classy, or luxury, but it's comfortable. If you're looking for a place to chill out, maybe learn a new game, or make some friends, it's definitely the place to be. I've visited various other card rooms and haven't felt the same level of comfort as silver dollar renton.“

“IHOP is one of those eating establishments I take for granted. The food is quick, it will fill you up, but don't expect too much. But this past weekend I had a totally unexpected experience at their Renton location on Rainier Avenue - a hamburger that was one of the best I ever ate. I always only order the Jalapeno Kick burger, which is always satisfying the way anything is when you add grilled onions and pickled jalapenos. But this one was exceptional. First, it was obvious that the hamburger patty was made with fresh ground beef, not one of those pre-pressed, perfectly round, frozen blobs that's usually between two buns. The burger was stacked high with bacon, cheese and condiments and the bun glistened with melted butter. But, it was the first bite that made the difference. Juices from the meat and tomatoes exploded in my mouth and the grilled vegetables brought up the rear. The seasoning was perfect (I didn't have to add salt and pepper), and everything was hot. Please excuse the posted pictures. I was half way through my meal when I decided this meal was worthy of praise. Sorry about the piece of missing meat on the back side of the burger, I was trying to even it up with the bun! I need to also give a shout out to the staff and manager, who walked to every table to see if we had what we needed or whether we needed more of anything. Well done, Renton IHop. Well done.“
