“This is our first time visiting 5 Hermanos. The service was excellent! The staff is very friendly and courteous. We might have come on the chef's off day because the food was good but seemed to be missing something. We'll definitely give them another shot some time in the future.March 2024It's been a year or two since I've visited 5 Hermanos. I was very pleasantly surprised today! The food was great! I had tacos al carbón which were very flavorful. The beans were awesome! My wife who avoids them at all costs actually liked them. The prices did increase but by a reasonable amount and the portions didn't shrink! We're going to definitely come back soon.“

“Had lunch at this place before dropping my sister off at the airport. Great place to enjoy dimsum and other chinese food by the SeaTac area. It took us about 10 minutes wait to be served with our food. We ordered through a tablet. You can keep adding items to your menu anytime. We enjoyed the salad prawns. It had watermelons with it; quite refreshing. The seasoned string beans were not that good and quite flavorless; it could be a little saltier and crunchier. I have no complaints for the dim sums. The pork shao bao and shao mai is different from what I’m used to, but they are not bad.A surprisingly good one we ordered was the Singaporean style vermicelli/noodles. The flavors hit the spot! Highly recommended!!“

“Like other people have said the stand out aspect is the view and the ambience! My husband and I went to the bar to order our drink and go sit by the water, so I can't speak to the table service or the inside. There were only a couple bartenders actually making the drinks, so we had to wait in line for a pretty decent amount of time surprisingly, but the drinks themselves were really good even if they are served in plastic cups! The menu online and printed say that the cocktails options are their fall/winter 2023 ones, so I'm not sure if they haven't released the spring ones yet or what. The ones we did have were good, and didn't seem to fall/winter specific. The One Where We Use Gin 8/10 Hendrix Hall - Autumn French 75 10/10 For the price point, the drinks are more expensive - like you would expect at a cocktail bar, but if you separate the fact that the cocktail is in a plastic cup, it is a really good cocktail! I definitely wouldn't make this a regular spot due to the price point, but it's really nice for an occasional hang after work or if you're nearby! Parking validated. When you originally sign up at the garage, it will seem like they will charge you but you just go to the bar and ask for the QR code to scan and the discount will be applied for up to two hours which is $7 worth“

“This is a lovely little find if you are looking for a date night. It's also big enough for a large group, if you want to have a team party or whatnot. It's clean and comfortable and overall just a pleasant spot to hang out. The music wasn't too loud, when the band finished, either, and they turned on pop tunes. There is an elevated band stage, above the bar. No dedicated dance area, which was a bummer. The 2 nights I went were to hear Woods Creek, and they didn't disappoint. The fries are not yummy. Just a heads up. Maybe they use weird oil. Also, one of the wait staff does not speak English, but responds "no", to questions, all the same. Lol So, confirm that you are speaking to someone who understands. There is multi layer parking, literally next door, so that was uber convenient and the shopping complex is a bit higher end and feels safe.I recommend this venue.“

“We came here randomly to celebrate NYE 2024 before heading to a rooftop party to watch the Space Needle NYE show. No reservations are needed, so this place came in clutch. We're so glad we came here! The owners were there and provided NYE hats and party beads, and the whole bar had a champagne toast to celebrate the ball drop in NYC. It was such a nice time, and the owners were very kind in providing NYE gear and champagne for everyone! We had yet to learn before coming here how much of a community vibe you get with this place. We ordered: -The Crab Nachos were super filling and tasty. I'm so glad we got these! They were the perfect final meal to end 2023. I will definitely be back for these. -The Painted Hills Beef Burger was delicious and filling. -While I Was Away - Refreshing and light, perfect pre-dinner drink -Devil's Margarita--This one was pretty strong. I highly recommend it. The flavor mix was interesting. I noticed this was a big hit. There were several tables that got this one. -Some beers, I need to remember which ones, but my partner says they were good! Overall will be back, the prices, the community vibe, and how much you can tell the owners care about their patrons shows. This place tends to be busy with regulars for a reason!“

“I visited this speakeasy on a Friday night with my husband on recommendation from friends. It is a very small place and mostly seatings are around the bar. Didn’t sound appealing to me but believe me it was fun! I would recommend going in small group of 2 or max 4. I don’t think they accept reservations but we got a table within 10 mins of putting our names. The drinks are amazing! Very flavorful and well made! I loved the dua dua coconut if you are a coffee fan you must try the ca phi tini! Cooling water is also refreshing. In terms of food, we had pho which is made in pho bac downstairs. We also had the tofu rolls and the broccoli cheese dip. My only critic is that the dip came in much later and we were full from the pho so couldn’t do justice with the dip. It was pretty cheesy and heavy. Overall fun time proof being I forgot to click pictures of the drinks ;)“

“We tried getting a table on a Saturday, and the wait was over 2.5 hours. Tried again on a Wednesday, and still waited 2 hours. It was worth the wait. Recommend hitting Coupe & Flute a couple blocks down for a champagne flight. With the old school hip hop blaring and ambiant lighting, it feels as if you're invited to hangout with your older brother and his cool friends. Except this time they're cooking up some of the best plates in Seattle. The wine list was impressive, they have Chenin Blancs heading South from France to South Africa. Cocktails in Corona bottles. Tropical notes blended to foreshadow what was to come. Boy did it come. A consonance of staples with Guamanian twists, the kind that leave your plate clean and has you asking for seconds. Words don't do this place justice. But trust me, there's a reason folks are lining up the block.“

Price came out to be around $100 for four drinks, it's on the pricier side but the presentation and concepts are good. We got the lawn boy, Shaballah, campfire in Georgia, and Snow White's bong. I'd recommend the first two for people who enjoy sweet drinks and the latter two for people who want something different. They have almost 5,000 labels in house so if you're a spirit enthusiast, this is the place for you. Great place to take a date after dinner but service can take a little long depending on how busy they are.“

“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.“

“Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.“

“Best Indian food I've tasted in WA! My hubs & I went there on a whim and was pleasantly surprised with every bite. At first we weren't hungry enough for a buffet however, the spread was visually stunning that I'm so glad we jumped in. We absolutely loved the mezze sampler appetizers, which was delightfully light. The Manchurian gobi was crispy and savory. I'm not a vegetarian but the available options convinced me that perhaps I could be about that life. As anticipated there was an abundance of curry but I stayed faithful to butter chicken. My gosh the chicken was tender and smooth. The dessert options were minimal but still hit the spot, specifically the carrot halwa paired with some naan. Don't doubt... Just do it!!!“

The cocktails are wonderful with interesting ingredients and the presentation is beautiful, which makes it hard not to stay for an extra drink or two. I'm sad that I live 1100 miles away and can't return for another one. All of the small plates we ordered were tasty but my favorite was the Potato Cheese Empanadas. Our server was informative, attentive and entertaining. What a great find!“

“I worked with Dereck to host a semi-private party of about 25 people here. He reserved an area for us to mingle, eat, and drink. The service was excellent - staff handled our large group and the tabs flawlessly. Drinks and food were fast and served to the right people. They helped bring out our cake and served it according to my specific instructions. Dereck had excellent communication and even gave us some nice extra touches like birthday balloons, which was very sweet. Drinks and wings were delicious. Try the sour flower cocktail!I would definitely have another event here because they made it so easy for me and did such a great job!“

“Incredible menu for someone with a range of food sensitivities (gluten, dairy, egg) who still eats meat! Our kind server walked us through the menu, answering all of our questions with contagious enthusiasm about each of the items discussed. The space is bright and cozy on a sunny day.Our visit was a few months ago but I still remember winding our way through many fun textures and flavors! Creamy hummus, satisfyingly crunchy tomato cucumber salad, and a dense green spicy sauce on the side. Since we don't often drive by this spot, I think a phone reminder may be the key to visiting more often!“

“This was such a treat. My husband is heavily into Chinese cooking and particularly loves siuhchuan and I am gluten free and can never eat Chinese out with him. Not only were most dishes available gluten free but the food was phenomenal. In the top 3 best meals I've had in Seattle and we eat at a lot of restaurants. Highly recommend. “I've been coming to Rochambeau for about 2 years now and over that time I have tried nearly every cocktail on the menu, as well as dozens off the menu and I've yet to be disappointed.I'm continually impressed by the creativity and deep knowledge of the Rochambeau crew. When I first started coming here, I thought I hated most kinds of spirits, but they have completely changed my opinion on just about everything for the better. As far as the food goes, words don't cut it. Some of the absolute best bites I've had in my life have been at Rochambeau. With a rapidly changing menu, there's always something new to try, and the portions are quite generous too.The atmosphere is great, the music selection is always fun, and it's a vibrant place to socialize with locals and people passing through alike. The crew are all cool as hell, unpretentious, and extremely good at what they do. It's incredible what 4 (now 3) individuals pulling together in the same direction can put out night after night.Cool bar!“

“What a lovely place to have an unusual, creative cocktail with someone you want to spend the evening talking with. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, ideal for unwinding. The mixologist was delighted to customize our drink choice and eager to know our thoughts. The cocktail menu is so interesting, with combinations I have never seen before. The furniture is warm and inviting. The area is a bit sketchy, as another poster warriors, but stepping inside it was like an oasis.“
