“Genuinely Awesome Authentic Mexican
We found this place almost by accident while attending a conference in Renton / Newcastle. We had the Carne Assada and plate of nachos. It fed 2 of us with leftovers and the aromas we so rich with flavors exploding on our palate. I'd drive the 3 hours just to come here again.“

Went in thinking tacos, but found they had so many different items I can’t find other places. 2+ years later I go back for things like big tortas, some nice alambre, a pizza-esque sope, and huge amazing lamb birria and quesabirria on weekends. The food is priced generously for the portion as well. This place is held in high regard for other reasons, things are always well-kept and clean, especially where it’s most important. I’ve developed a scrutinous eye as a restaurant professional, and they always impress, not to mention the family behind the business is lovely. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

Authentic & delicious tacos every time. They don’t skimp on the meat at all, best priced tacos in town especially for their quality & quantity. The food came out fast and piping hot. The crispy tripe & carne asada tacos is my go-to and to die for!

However, today the young guy working with a bowl cut tried to finesse me when I ordered a Large Fountain Drink and he tried to charge me a Large Horchata which is double the price. I called him out on it and he fixed it. Yikes, I won’t be tipping today just for that; don’t fool your loyal customers like that. I come here all the time and I always tip generous, minimum 20%. I hope it doesn’t happen again.“

“Love the food here and the hostess is always friendly but the most impressive thing about getting lunch or dinner is the price. It cost about the same to pick up food to go here as it does in most fast food drive through. But I don't have leftovers to enjoy a second time when I go to the drive thru. “We've been coming here for over 4 years now, and the food and service has been consistently great. The portions are huge; we usually order the carnitas burrito and burrito bowl and it ends up being over a lb each! The quality is fresh and tastes delicious (plus it's healthy), and the restaurant is very clean. The owner, Juan, is a hardworking nice friendly guy and always greets us with a warm welcome. The location is convenient directly off 405 exit 7, with ample parking.

“I had a really bad experience with mazatlan next door so I thought I would stop by here and try their Margaritas and it was such a good decision I will never go to that mazatlan ever again! The people that helped me were very friendly and the Mango Chile margarita they made for me was sooooooo good! I will definitely start coming here for my dinners. They've earned a loyal customer today who will be coming back very often!“

“This food was BOMB I has their quesadillas with beans, it came with a little salad. My friend got the same and she rated it 4.5/5.

Vegetarian options: I ate the quesadillas with beans, but you can ask probably any meal without meat.“

Consistency of quality is important for repeat business, which all businesses need to stay in business. This is my quick go-to for a quick burrito, but now maybe not. “I'm giving this 5* because community restaurants need to thrive, but I also would like to give my honest review as a Mexican from Southern California. The food itself is good, but the way I will describe Seattle Mexican food is, it's good enough to give you an idea of what real Mexican food is like, but it's missing that gives it the authenticity.

My mouth didn't water biting into the al pastor, nor did my anticipation for chilaquiles get filled when I ate it. Rather, it tasted good enough to remind me this is the blueprint to good Mexican food, but it's missing the heart that normally comes with it.

If you aren't from Mexico, you will enjoy the change of flavor that is offered. It, by no means is bad Mexican food. San Francisco and the Midwest are notorious for bad Mexican.“

“First time back at a Taco Bell in 20 yrs and a first for my son. Man this place was bussin'! Our lunch was hot, fresh and made perfectly. Service was quick, and staff was chill. I appreciate that they have vegetarian options. Only issue was their drive thru speaker and mic weren't working very well, so there was some trouble communicating. But we got there in the end??. Definitely recommend the crunchwrap supreme?“
