“Really good. I got the carnitas plate. The pork was delicate, slow cooked, and not over trimmed. Our friend The pig is not a slim fellow, and Mexican food uses the whole thing. The crowd and staff are largely Mexican. Very friendly clean place. Not fancy. Very well priced for what you get compared with the usual Seattle prices. I love it and I learned Mexican food in Mexico. Legitimate carniceria. They have the homade Mexican drinks (rice, hibiscus, guava, and the red one that is kind of salty), and the condiments table. But they did not have the pickled onions and carrots. Of course it's family oriented, and of course there is Mexican soccer on the giant screens. I will come back and try their fried fish plate (whole tilapia).“

“La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de conocer el restaurante, fue una experiencia buena, el servicio, la comida el ambiente, pero hubo algo que si me gustaría que lo consideraran, yo tenía ganas de probar el chile en nogada y me encantó pero para mí no fue suficiente como porque el chile no va acompañado de nada creo que ese arroz que tienen estaría muy bien para acompañarlo porque para mí no fue suficiente comida, de ahí todo lo demás estuvo excelente.“

“Quaint little hole in the wall with great flavors from Oaxaca. Very much a local fav vibe by the amount of traffic coming in and out. Ordered the Pozole and it was loaded with intense flavor and the pork was super tender. I’m a mezcal fan so they offered some good mezcals to sample. Ordered the Rey Campero flight and it didn’t disappoint. The tostadas with avocado salsa were a great appetizer. Light but could be a meal in itself. Our server was great but it was a bit clunky getting seated and our host didn’t say much. Still worth a visit.“

“Delicious, friendly and open late! There is not really a good place to sit when it's cold or rainy, but there are picnic tables available.
Parking: Parking lot around the corner that is labeled for McLendons but no one ever uses it“

“One of the better Mexican taqueria trucks in the south end of the Seattle city limits. If your coming from Rainier Valley, Beacon Hill, Central District it's worth the drive and order pickup. Most of the dishes come with pickled veggies and a variety of 2-3 chili sauces on the side. Wait time is usually no more than 10 minutes. Try the burrito or quesadilla with your favorite filling as a standard for their food. Open till 10pm allows for good food options later in the evening (Instead of fast food) if your in Seattle.“

“This place has amazing food! We were always tracking down their food truck, but we’re so glad they have a brick and mortar location now also!
Parking: We always find street parking nearby, but it may be difficult at times.“

“I’ve been to Alebrijes Kitchen twice for dinner, and I have enjoyed both meals. If you can handle/enjoy some heat, the camarones appetizer is so good. I enjoy mojitos with a ton of mint, and Alebrijes Kitchen does not disappoint. The Veggie Verde Enchiladas are very cheesy and seasoned well. My partner enjoyed the Carne Asada, describing the meat as very flavorful and tender. For dessert, he had the key lime pie. It was delicious. I had the flan, which was very creamy. Overall, service is speedy. Be prepared to street park. Although, I haven’t come a cross an issue finding spots. As a Southern California native, this restaurant reminds me of the comfy Mexican food I grew up with.“

“This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Do not be deceived by the esthetic. Ignore the gas station - unless you need a restroom.
I eat a ton of Mexican food... look at my profile ... this place is special. Order everything.
The Mulitas were my favorite. They're just on the edge of spicy, packed with meat, and accompanied by cheese and guacamole. It's a sort of quesadilla meats torta. While not the prettiest thing to eat, I'd happily have one daily. 2 will fill you up all day.
I also really enjoyed the tacos. When you see them, they seem tiny ... but I have to say, I was never left hungry. The Taco Platter is more than filling and fairly priced.
When a 5-year-old finishes a taco truck burrito, you know you're in the right spot.
This is well prepared, beautifully seasoned passion driven food. It is clear from the food that they serve, that they love what they do and want you to as well.“

“We didn’t have time to eat here but when we asked about the blue corn tortillas, the person attending us was super informative and friendly, giving us all kinds of interesting info about their passion for making the masa. We did buy some of the masa to bring back home and made tortillas with them and it was delicious. Thank you!“

“Every time I come the service and food is great. Last Saturday the server in her 50's?? Was not nice, I said thank you for her help and she said ,yeah very rudely and walked away. Never experienced that from the staff before. We had a male server after that,he was very nice. The food was quick and delicious. Check it out, good stuff.“

“My partner and I have to keep ourselves from eating here every night. I love to sit in the patio, everyone who works and owns the restaurant is incredibly kind & personable.
My favorite thing to order is the half chicken with rice and beans- I’m a simple gal, the complimentary chips and salsa is something I regularly crave.
The food is always delicious- the service is always fast. My partner and I regularly spilt an entree here, get a few drinks and the bill is usually around 40-45$.
Easily my favorite weeknight/ happy hour/ late night dinner spot/ favorite spot in Capitol Hill.“

“By the shimmering threads of the culinary tapestry, La Carta de Oaxaca weaves a potent enchantment! The aromas that waft forth are nothing short of alchemical, transforming humble ingredients into dishes of pure magic. The very essence of Oaxaca seems captured within their walls, a palpable energy that warms the spirit. The ministrations of the servers were swift and knowing, as if guided by unseen forces. And the food! Each bite was a revelation, a journey into flavors both ancient and wondrous. Five stars, certainly, for this haven of earthly delights touched by something truly special.“

“I finally decided to give Sophie's Tacos a try and now I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner.
From the family cooking to the food, everything is perfect.
I had the taco plate with Carnitas. Served with Mexican Rice and Pinto Beans this plate was enough for two people (or one hungry person). The Chips and Salsa are handmade and have a lime and salt flavor. The salsa is delicious and a tad spicy. My wife had the Pollo Quesadilla and it was super flavorful as well. The Passionfruit Agua Fresca was so good and brought the meal together nicely.
Go grab yourself a great meal at Sophie's Tacos you won't regret it!
Parking: Parking is behind the building near the bike shop.“

“Came here on a really nice day so it was quite busy. We were sat in about 10 minutes outside. The seating outside is pretty tight (we had 4 people) so maybe sit inside if youre wanting a both or have more than 2 people. the staff was attentive and nice. Got our food in a reasonable amount of time, and it was all hot. Very tasty! Really like the jalapeño poppers. The tacos were very good. Ohhh so Is the rice! Would definitely go again. Prices wernt too bad either.“

“I absolutely love this place. Best mexican food I’ve tried in the Seattle area. I’ve been going here pretty regularly since 2019 and have not had a single bad experience. I always get a chicken burrito with whole black beans and no dairy. The rice is always tasty, never too much either. They’re generous with the protein. The seasonings are used well, but the magic comes with the sauces. Most taco trucks just use standard suppliers for their ingredients and you can tell, but not here. They make their own sauces. They have a red sauce, green sauce and a spicy sauce. I always get the spicy sauce. Its maybe more spicy than many people could handle but used sparingly still packs a solid flavor-punch.Burritos are my default because they are amazing value. $11 for effectively two meals.I’ve gotten each arrangement and combination a few times, and my go to for a more reasonable portion is three chicken tacos. At $2.50 a taco its also a pretty good deal.I don’t think there are any additional charges for meats (except lengua) so getting carne asada, barbacoa or carnitas isn’t any different. I would highly recommend the barbacoa on tacos or butritos.“

“Good food, good friendly customer service. Good easy to understand menu. Reasonable prices. But the food, and the service was much much better when the big owner used to be working inside the kitchen years ago.food takes a very long time to come out of the kitchen after you place your order. So prepare your self to wait for a very long time about 30 minutesHighly recommend call & order food before comingSo it very bad to come get a lunch in lunch break. Lunch break time will be wasted on just waiting for lunchParking lot is smallSurrounding area is very tough, not good to park nice cars too far. Cover your belongings in your car if parked car out of sight.“

“Casco Antiguo is a vibrant Mexican restaurant in Seattle known for its fresh, flavorful dishes and lively atmosphere. Their tacos, especially the carnitas and baja fish, are standouts, made with house-made tortillas and bold, authentic flavors. Service is friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality. Whether you're in Pioneer Square or South Lake Union, Casco Antiguo offers a consistently enjoyable dining experience that’s both modern and true to tradition.“

“Nacho Borracho in Capitol Hill is an absolute gem! The shrimp burrito was phenomenal—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The carne asada burrito was also delicious, with generous portions that definitely didn’t disappoint. But what truly blew my socks off were the al pastor tacos. The orange sauce that came with them was out of this world, adding just the right kick to each bite. The burritos were massive, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
One small downside was that they were out of chicken, but honestly, the other options were so good I didn’t mind too much. It’s worth noting that this spot is inside a bar, so the music and patrons can get pretty loud. However, if you’re okay with a lively atmosphere, Nacho Borracho is a must-go! Don’t let the noise deter you—this place is a true Capitol Hill treasure.“

“This is the best of the best. They just seem to do it better! I use both drive through and eating in. For some reason their Veggie Burrito out does the other places. Plus I always feel like it’s a healthier choice for fast food.“

“All 3 of us loved our food - it exceeded expectations. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian options on the menu. Service from Thomas was 5-star. He was the only server, serving a full restaurant and he did so with such calm and grace - it was amazing to watch. We always felt attended to...even as he rotated to all of the tables. Most amazing was he was not at all rattled by the amount of tables he was handling, as he had it all under control. Overall, the food and service experience truly were 5-star worthy.“
