“Centro is the best restaurant in Burien delivering a creative seasonal menu and every review is delicious! The owners are extremely involved in the Burien Community and the staff is amazing! Right now my favorites are the fish taco, salmon cevice and paloma. But doraditos, cauliflower nachos, brusselsprouts, habanero enchiladas and avocado salsa are forever my favorites! oh and Churros! & hibiscus tea 🌺Try everything!💖🥰 & Emily is my favorite server (pictured)!“

“Just tried the breakfast restaurant. Same location. Highly recommend! The chilaquiles is delicious. The salsa verde is perfectly seasoned and coffee is hot and tasty. You also get a complementary basket of cinnamon sugar chips to dip in honey while you wait for your food. Will definitely go back!“

“Update: new ownership, things have changed.
Old review: Yaaassss...! Everything here. Everything. Not sure what part of Mexico the food hails from, but it is definitely, authentically Mexican. I have sampled fairly extensively from their menu: roasted chicken (yes!), gorditas, sopes, asada fries, burritos. Would highly recommend the guisado del día, which is kind of like whatever saucy meat, almost stew, that they can whip up for the day, but it's difficult to go wrong here. Add on top of that the very efficient service, and you have an easy option for lunch or dinner. A place to go out of your way for. It can be pricey for what one might expect for Mexican cuisine. But, probably no more than some of the American Mexican places that abound, and for much greater value. Yas. Do it.“

“If you’re hungry in the middle of the night come here for a great meal! Open ‘til 3am Friday and Saturday, this place reminds us of the time we were in Mexico. We love the tripa and lengua tacos 🌮—they were our favorites! The food is so fresh you can see them make the tortillas right in front of you. The service was great and we were well taken care of. Thank you, Micheel for serving us!“

“Taqueria Casa Mixteca in Burien is the kind of place that reminds you why food is more than just a meal it’s a cultural experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth and genuine friendliness that makes you feel less like a customer and more like a guest in someone’s home. The staff carry themselves with pride and kindness, and that energy sets the tone for everything that follows.
The atmosphere feels like a small portal into Oaxaca colorful, expressive, and alive with detail. The decorations and artwork aren’t just aesthetic choices; they tell a story. Every wall, every piece of décor, every menu offering feels intentional and rooted in tradition. You can feel the cultural heartbeat of the place while you dine.
And the food delivers on that promise beautifully rich flavors, comforting textures, and dishes that taste like they come from generations of craft rather than a recipe sheet. Each plate feels abundant and thoughtfully prepared, the kind of meal you slow down for and savor.
If you’re looking for more than just good food if you want an experience that feels authentic, welcoming, and memorable this spot is a gem. Five stars without hesitation.“

“The crew here at Burien Taco Time are amazing. So friendly & welcoming, they make the best food because they make it with love Charo always smiles & makes my food so delicious. Even though she's behind the food prepping counter, she is always greeting me and is very nice. Also the diet coke here is calibrated to perfection. All the staff are so great i will drive from farther away, just to come to this Taco Time because it is superior to all others. My daughter and I were discussing that we love coming here and the people all feel like family.“

“Great food, great service for not a lot of money. Simple. El Antojo's takes it to the next level though, Clean and classic diner feel, and the BEST BATHROOMS in the area. Seriously, they have a TV in the nicely appointed men's room. The food? Legit Mexican food, freshly made from fresh ingredients and Family Owned. I cannot say enough about it as someone who has owned a restaurant and ran and developed hotels. Eat there, if in SeaTac at a Hotel, they deliver... order. Thank me later“

“Drive thru was fast and accurate. Food was typical and as expected. Not sure if all ingredients were approved for human consumption but was conveniently located and workers were friendly. Intercom in drive thru was difficult to hear but it was all correct on the order.“

“So good! We read through lots of reviews. Super mixed, but we have been driving by for a long time and furious. So we went anyway. Casual inside. There was us, a mother and daughter, a family, and a couple groups of guys. Sport screens, music that made me want to dance. Not overly loud, but the waitress was soft spoken. Kind, but soft spoken . The lady with her daughter recommended the jalea. Think Captain's platter, but with a foot long fish, buttery, delicious. Fried stuff on the outside was more fied chicken style than greasy fish and chips. Shrimp, scallops, octopus, mussel, clam, calamari, white corn, sauteed red onions, , tomato, lettuce, yucca fries. Enough food for two. Rich, flavorful. As someone who doesn't like tarter sauce, I used the salso. Oh yes! Great with chips- even better with the fish and seafood. Not your ordinary salsa. Yum! I could not identify the ingredients. Tomato? Bean? Tamarind? Spices unique and tasty. 21 for so much seafood My husband got the pan huelo? Think soup with a whole crab leg, octopus, scallops, shrimp, squid mussel, clam, fish, calamari. All in an orange sauce reminiscent of pumpkin and white sauce with tasty spices. Add the onion, cilantro, and lime. We didn't add the rice, Tasty rice, e licioys soup, though rich, so my husband at only 1/2 to 3/4, then "helped" me horchatta- less sweet than most. Yay! Flan we have not tried yet because we are still full. Lots of leftovers. Looking forward to eating them. Nice people. We will be back!“
