Taqueria Casa Mixteca Reviews
One of the best Oaxacan restaurants. I love their empanadas of huitlacoche or flor de Calabaza. They have real quesillo from Oaxaca. Their vanilla gelatina is sooo good. You could also buy goodies and food from Oaxaca. I’m from Oaxaca and I’m so happy they exist. An amazing place!!
Best tortillas de maiz I've had in Washington State!!
Great food just as grandma used to make. If your grandmother was Spanish, of course.

Taqueria Casa Mixteca is a cozy spot with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. The picaditas with cecina pork and mole are flavorful and perfectly balanced, while the Menudo and street tacos are also highly recommended. The portions are huge, often leaving leftovers for later, making it a super affordable choice. The restaurant offers a small selection of drinks, including house peach tea. They also sell Oaxacan trinkets, dry goods, and various tortillas. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fun, with occasional live music. It is a hidden gem in Burien, known for its truly delicious, comforting, and authentic Oaxacan food. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly menu and games available for children. The restaurant is beautiful and quaint, making it a must-visit for those seeking authentic Mexican cuisine.
