“Pizza Gallery in Burien makes some of the best Hawaiian pizza I’ve ever had. The combination pizza is just as impressive—packed with flavor, well-balanced toppings, and cooked perfectly. Both pizzas are easily some of the best I’ve had, and I can honestly eat the whole thing, including the crust, because it’s that good.

What really stands out is the care they put into the food. The young gentlemen preparing the pizzas are clearly making everything with attention and pride. You can taste that “made with love” quality in every bite.

The only downside is there are no tables to eat inside and no restroom for customers, but I understand that might be how they keep the prices reasonable for everyone. I also had a great experience with the staff—a young Asian lady helped me (I forgot to ask her name), and she was very friendly and awesome to deal with.“

“This is one of the best places I have eaten period. I have never had 5 star cooking from a fancy chef like Bobby Flay or iron Chef Cat Cora. But I feel like if I did this should be the level of cooking I should get. The buttermilk biscuit and creole chicken with that honey and cream sauce was absolutely AMAZING.. “I used to work here. I was fired over diagnosed mental health issues. I've been beat unconscious many times I have memory problems as a result. I forgot to set the timer and burned a tray of pies. The owner has a huge temper. There were times he refused to come out of the office and talk to customers Last I knew it's illegal to fire some one for diagnosed mental health issues. “Centro is the best restaurant in Burien delivering a creative seasonal menu and every review is delicious! The owners are extremely involved in the Burien Community and the staff is amazing! Right now my favorites are the fish taco, salmon cevice and paloma. “Visiting the area and had breakfast here twice. The food was delicious! The portions just enough to leave you full. The staff was friendly and attentive. Even the healthy options are made to be comfort food.“

“This is our favorite place to go for Mexican in the Burien area! A wonderful family owned place. Small, so sometimes it might be a little crowded depending on the day but still very handleable. No bar (however the Renton location has one.) but they have great drinks. Love their margaritas! Everyone that works here is so hospitable and sweet! Sometimes when I don't come in with my family I get teased. 😅 Our favorite items are the chicken chimichangas, the Durango burrito and the basic chicken burritos. Come on in you won't regret it!!“

“A limited menu means they do what they do very well and if you're looking for Ethiopian, this is a great spot. Early evenings, they've always had a table available. It often feels like we've dropped into someone’s kitchen, staffed by family. The dishes come out with an unmistakable made-with-knowing touch of authenticity. Old review: Yaaassss...! Everything here. Everything. Not sure what part of Mexico the food hails from, but it is definitely, authentically Mexican. I have sampled fairly extensively from their menu: roasted chicken (yes!), gorditas, sopes, asada fries, burritos. Would highly recommend the guisado del día, which is kind of like whatever saucy meat, almost stew, that they can whip up for the day, but it's difficult to go wrong here. Add on top of that the very efficient service, and you have an easy option for lunch or dinner. A place to go out of your way for. It can be pricey for what one might expect for Mexican cuisine. But, probably no more than some of the American Mexican places that abound, and for much greater value. Yas. Do it.“

“We decided to grab some burgers while catching the World Cup, and it turned out to be such a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient, making sure we got a great seat right away. I'm not too worried about it, but everything else, your Musubi of Spam and your Portuguese Sausage Musubi, was great. I stayed a little bit for that chicken burger, which was really good too. Everything else came out perfect. In fact, it was cheaper than Kent. The one in Kent restaurant was more expensive than the one in Burien, and also it was fresher, so people that will go to Burien would be better.“

“One of the best Oaxacan restaurants. I love their empanadas of huitlacoche or flor de Calabaza. They have real quesillo from Oaxaca. Their vanilla gelatina is sooo good. You could also buy goodies and food from Oaxaca. I’m from Oaxaca and I’m so happy they exist. An amazing place!!“

“Great pizza and salad bar, though it's a bit pricey. We mostly come for the arcade; the game selection is limited but keeps the kids happy. Just be careful with the prize vending machine—it glitches, and because the staff doesn't have a key to open it, you will lose your points if a prize gets stuck.
The establishment is mostly self-serve, so you'll need to go to the register for assistance, but the staff is very friendly and helpful when you do!“

I stopped by and ordered takeout for three people, and once again had a great experience. The employees are always so pleasant and hardworking, which really stands out. Every time I come in, the restaurant is very clean, and you can see the staff constantly taking care of the counters and making sure everything looks great.
That attention to detail makes it a place I enjoy coming back to for takeout. On top of that, the food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and everyone in our group loved it.

“This spot feels less like a restaurant and more like a community hub. Homey & welcoming.

Coming from the restaurant background, I grew to love food places that have no gimmicks and are true to their standard - Pho Liu is on top of that short list in Seattle.

I go here 3 times a week & they serve consistently high quality pho. The small bowl (pictured) is more than enough & leaves room to try their delicious apps. Fish-sauced wings, spring rolls, egg rolls are all phenomenal.

One way to tell they take care of their craft is how long the noodles can sit in the broth without releasing any starch. Fresh noodles, perfectly cooked, and well strained. Also their bean sprouts and herbs are extremely fresh. Never once have I had soggy or bitter bean sprouts here - which is more common at pho places than you’d think.

The owner family & servers here are great & kind people, as well. The subtle cues are how many regulars I’ve seen on random visits and how well the fish (in the fish tank) are taken care of.

This neighborhood place is truly one of the last pre-tech boom Seattle relics.“

“Went to Shelly’s for breakfast. Good coffee, many vegetarian options, and big portions! I had the Veggie Twice as Nice, which includes 1/2 portion vegan biscuits & gravy, 1/2 florentine benedict and choice of potato (breakfast potatoes or hash browns). I cannot believe how delicious it was! Between swoons I told my husband, “the hollandaise sauce has no business being this good”. Our child got the junior hamburger meal and it was a huge portion as well. Highly recommend, we were all very happy! Great service and affordable as well! 😊“
