“Pizza Gallery in Burien makes some of the best Hawaiian pizza I’ve ever had. The combination pizza is just as impressive—packed with flavor, well-balanced toppings, and cooked perfectly. Both pizzas are easily some of the best I’ve had, and I can honestly eat the whole thing, including the crust, because it’s that good.

What really stands out is the care they put into the food. The young gentlemen preparing the pizzas are clearly making everything with attention and pride. You can taste that “made with love” quality in every bite.

The only downside is there are no tables to eat inside and no restroom for customers, but I understand that might be how they keep the prices reasonable for everyone. I also had a great experience with the staff—a young Asian lady helped me (I forgot to ask her name), and she was very friendly and awesome to deal with.“

“This is one of the best places I have eaten period. I have never had 5 star cooking from a fancy chef like Bobby Flay or iron Chef Cat Cora. But I feel like if I did this should be the level of cooking I should get. The buttermilk biscuit and creole chicken with that honey and cream sauce was absolutely AMAZING.. “I used to work here. I was fired over diagnosed mental health issues. I've been beat unconscious many times I have memory problems as a result. I forgot to set the timer and burned a tray of pies. The owner has a huge temper. There were times he refused to come out of the office and talk to customers Last I knew it's illegal to fire some one for diagnosed mental health issues. “Centro is the best restaurant in Burien delivering a creative seasonal menu and every review is delicious! The owners are extremely involved in the Burien Community and the staff is amazing! Right now my favorites are the fish taco, salmon cevice and paloma. “I got a burger, some fried, and a couple of Rainiers. I appreciated that even though it was a bar, and a sports bar at that, that the music wasn't too loud. The food was delicious though the burger was a tad smaller than id like, but it was juicy and cooked perfectly. My only real gripe is that I was meeting a large group and found that they only had one space setup to accommodate such a number, which was their square corner nook by the front door.“

Old review: Yaaassss...! Everything here. Everything. Not sure what part of Mexico the food hails from, but it is definitely, authentically Mexican. I have sampled fairly extensively from their menu: roasted chicken (yes!), gorditas, sopes, asada fries, burritos. Would highly recommend the guisado del día, which is kind of like whatever saucy meat, almost stew, that they can whip up for the day, but it's difficult to go wrong here. Add on top of that the very efficient service, and you have an easy option for lunch or dinner. A place to go out of your way for. It can be pricey for what one might expect for Mexican cuisine. But, probably no more than some of the American Mexican places that abound, and for much greater value. Yas. Do it.“

“I've come to this place since I was 11 years old, the food is the same the place is the same. If you are looking for good food good price with little to no fuss this is the place for you. I especially liked that I went in and ordered my food separate. The guy taking my order changed my option to the meal making the whole thing $8.00 less. He did not have to do that, I would have paid for the food separately but he went out of his way to make it more affordable for me.

Coming from the restaurant background, I grew to love food places that have no gimmicks and are true to their standard - Pho Liu is on top of that short list in Seattle.

I go here 3 times a week & they serve consistently high quality pho. The small bowl (pictured) is more than enough & leaves room to try their delicious apps. Fish-sauced wings, spring rolls, egg rolls are all phenomenal.

One way to tell they take care of their craft is how long the noodles can sit in the broth without releasing any starch. Fresh noodles, perfectly cooked, and well strained. Also their bean sprouts and herbs are extremely fresh. Never once have I had soggy or bitter bean sprouts here - which is more common at pho places than you’d think.

The owner family & servers here are great & kind people, as well. The subtle cues are how many regulars I’ve seen on random visits and how well the fish (in the fish tank) are taken care of.

This neighborhood place is truly one of the last pre-tech boom Seattle relics.“

The establishment is mostly self-serve, so you'll need to go to the register for assistance, but the staff is very friendly and helpful when you do!“

I stopped by and ordered takeout for three people, and once again had a great experience. The employees are always so pleasant and hardworking, which really stands out. Every time I come in, the restaurant is very clean, and you can see the staff constantly taking care of the counters and making sure everything looks great.
That attention to detail makes it a place I enjoy coming back to for takeout. On top of that, the food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and everyone in our group loved it.

“Very clean always greeted respectfully and with smiles.. The manager, Rhiannon at the burien, 1st Ave Papa Murphys is great and you can tell she takes pride in her work...
She absolutely amazing, very friendly, she's always there and working. I came in and order a couple pizzas to go. She was the only one there working at the time. They were short handed but Rhiannon made it look like she had a crew of 10 there. The phone was ringing, people were there to order. She handled us all with a smile on her face and had our orders complete in a timely manor. I was impressed. They will always have my business especially while Rhiannon is running that location. You dont find this kind of service at fast food location anymore at all.“

“I went to Denny’s recently and honestly, I had such a great experience. From the moment I walked in, everything felt warm and welcoming. The place was super clean, bright, and cozy. Even the little garden area outside looked really nice and well kept, which gave the restaurant a friendly, homey touch before even going inside.

The staff was amazing! Everyone I met was kind, cheerful, and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. The hostess greeted me with a big smile, and my server was super attentive the whole time — always checking to make sure I had everything I needed. My coffee cup was never empty, and even though the place got a bit busy, they still made sure everyone was taken care of. That kind of service makes a huge difference.

Now about the food — it was so good. I ordered the Build Your Own Grand Slam, and everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the eggs were exactly how I asked for them. You can really taste that classic Denny’s flavor that’s comforting and consistent no matter when you go. I also treated myself to a milkshake, and wow — it was thick, creamy, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a while.

One thing I really appreciate about Denny’s is the overall atmosphere. It’s one of those places where you can just relax, enjoy your meal, and not feel rushed.
