“Centro is the best restaurant in Burien delivering a creative seasonal menu and every review is delicious! The owners are extremely involved in the Burien Community and the staff is amazing! Right now my favorites are the fish taco, salmon cevice and paloma. But doraditos, cauliflower nachos, brusselsprouts, habanero enchiladas and avocado salsa are forever my favorites! oh and Churros! & hibiscus tea 🌺Try everything!💖🥰 & Emily is my favorite server (pictured)!“

“Another fabulous dinner with Chef Frank and the team and dessert with Sophia!!! It doesn’t get any better anywhere than at the 909!!! The food is top notch and fantastic!!! Frank and the team are so spectacular!!! The ambience is so wonderful!!! And Michelle - my lemon drop connoisseur - says Sophia makes the best lemon drop of anywhere she’s ever been!!! “A limited menu means they do what they do very well and if you're looking for Ethiopian, this is a great spot. Early evenings, they've always had a table available. It often feels like we've dropped into someone’s kitchen, staffed by family. The dishes come out with an unmistakable made-with-knowing touch of authenticity. I almost hate to put up a review, it's such a local-to-Burien gem!“

“We decided to grab some burgers while catching the World Cup, and it turned out to be such a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient, making sure we got a great seat right away. The atmosphere was amazing — everyone was having a good time, which made the whole experience even better. The drinks were definitely something different, but surprisingly enjoyable.“

“Grand Central is my favorite cafe in Burien! Thanks to all the staff for the great service, food, and drinks. I like the atmosphere here and the different seating options - it's great for meeting a group, catching up with a friend, or relaxing or working solo. I appreciate that they have healthy options and seem to use great quality ingredients. The seasonal specials are fun too.“

I stopped by and ordered takeout for three people, and once again had a great experience. The employees are always so pleasant and hardworking, which really stands out. Every time I come in, the restaurant is very clean, and you can see the staff constantly taking care of the counters and making sure everything looks great.
That attention to detail makes it a place I enjoy coming back to for takeout. On top of that, the food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and everyone in our group loved it.

“Went to Shelly’s for breakfast. Good coffee, many vegetarian options, and big portions! I had the Veggie Twice as Nice, which includes 1/2 portion vegan biscuits & gravy, 1/2 florentine benedict and choice of potato (breakfast potatoes or hash browns). I cannot believe how delicious it was! Between swoons I told my husband, “the hollandaise sauce has no business being this good”. Our child got the junior hamburger meal and it was a huge portion as well. Highly recommend, we were all very happy! Great service and affordable as well! 😊“

“Descent atmosphere, just a bit sketchy with owner/services if you speak the language they are treated very differently than other cultures. Services are fresh, depending who served you. I notice the ladies treat their culture better than others. Only if you are acquainted with them, if you been with them before.“

“I'm mad my friend didn't show me this spot earlier!!! For starters, we had the mezze platter. It came with dolmas (so good!! Perfect marriage of rice and spices!), tzatziki (so fresh! The mint...yum!!), baba ganoush (with a smokey hint), hummus (so fresh!!), tabouli (best ive had in a long time! It was not overwhelming with parsley... super enjoyable. So good we got orders to go!), and the piyaz (a chilled white bean salad with ginger root, onion, tomato, EVOO, and garlic...so good we got orders to go!). Entrees we had the mesopotamian lamb and beef (the stew was so comforting..like a hug. The lamb was so tender!), and the lamb chops (love the rosemary and garlic!) For dessert...freshhhhh baklava, freshest ive had. It had just been made. It was so perfect! It's not so heavy compared to the normal baklava with honey that Im used too. Looks like I have a new favorite Mediterranean spot to go to!!! The staff was great. The food was amazing.“
