“I'm a super picky pho person, it's all in the broth. This isn't my first pick of place but it is closer. Yesterday I ordered chicken teriyaki for my son and a seafood pho for myself. My kid is a super picky meat eater and I can tell his opinion of the meat by how much he eats and he did devour it, meaning the chicken was good and lean. Their pho is pretty good, too much imitation crab imo thats really rubbery and I really hate that they don't have their own chili sauce like most pho places as that's what usually makes the pho to my liking. All in all though they are speedy with service and relatively pleasant when communicating so that's why I return when I'm not in the mood for a further drive.“

“Very nice small gem of a business here.
Your tasty neighborhood Banh Mi store.
Good product good value.
One thing to be aware is that they do sometime sell out before closing. Best call ahead to order.“

“10/9/2021 Recommend? Yes. I arrived right after they open with my luggage because I was starving from my long train ride in from Whitefish, MT. The server was super nice. He got me hot tea and banh cam to settle in with. I ordered bo bia (autumn rolls), vegan pho, and roasted pork banh mi (to go). The banh cam had a thick dough and it was huge. Two of those could've been a whole meal. Everything I ordered was delicious and they were so kind! My favorite was definitely the banh mi. It was even good after I had refridgerated it. The best part was the vegan butter and vegan pate. I absolutely loved it, best vegan banh mi I've had.“

“Order at the door and the seat you. Party of 6 or more they auto charge gratuity incase you aren’t anticipating it. Food is great. They don’t come to check on you but probably due to covid/social distancing. Easy atmosphere. Parking is very limited so be prepared.“

“They’re the sweetest Vietnamese ladies you’ll ever meet. The food is always fresh and high quality. I am pretty picky with my banh mi, and when I crave it here- it hits.
Vegetarian options: Sub any meat with Tofu

“This place is truly a gem! I'm Vietnamese and am from San Jose. So I am very snobby when it comes to finding the perfect pho. So don't look any further - we ordered the pho dac biet and the broth was aromatic and packed so much flavor. Also ordered the combo dac biet banh mi but haven't tried it yet. The customer service was extremely nice and so welcoming.
My only regret was not knowing about this place sooner since I have been around here quite a few times. High quality for a more than reasonable price.
If you want something authentic and with great service - don't look any further. I'll be dining in next time!“

“Food was great, good quality, flavorful and fast to come out. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Pool table can be rented for $15/hr.
Clean bathroom. I think there’s only one stall per gender. That I saw.
3 pool tables. Spacious. There’s free parking, maybe 20 spots. Lots of seating. They take card and mobile pay.
I’d come back“

“Pho Aroma was fantastic. Their pho was delicious (love the option for a small vs large size), the sandwiches quite tasty, and the rolls were a knock out. The experience is no frills for sure, but there is an outside patio and card is accepted. Will absolutely be back!“

“Finally a place that serves more unique Vietnamese dishes beyond the more commonly known pho, rice noodle bowls and fresh rolls! Love that I can get Bun cha Ha Noi, Bahn Beo and Banh Cuon! Atmosphere is simple and I wouldn’t give the service 5 stars, but I didn’t go there expecting perfection in these areas. I went for the food, and it is solid! Definitely a place to come if you’re wanting to try some new Vietnamese dishes you can’t find elsewhere.“

“Ah-MAZING! We are visiting Seattle and staying at an AirBNB nearby, we found this place on a whim and it did not disappoint. The pho broth was flavorful and delicious. All fresh, crisp vegetables. Our kids LOVED the potstickers and teriyaki chicken. It was all sooooo good. Family run, so glad to support this family. Do not be turned off by the decor, it is very busy inside the restaurant, but food is fantastic. Recommend for take out!!“

“Had an incredible dining experience here. Small and unassuming from the outside, but felt very welcoming and warm inside. Service was awesome. Food was spectacular, some of the best Vietnamese cuisine I've had in the Seattle area. Worth adventuring down to Renton for and I will be back!“

“Fav pho in Seattle! The most homey pho that is the only place I’ve found so far that comes close enough to my mom’s cooking! The aunties working are the sweetest and will remember your order too. 10/10. More than reasonable price and the portion sizes are huge.“

“Still on the search for a replacement for my go-to banh mi place.
This place stands out to me for 3 reasons: their bread and cleanliness of the place, other lunch options.
Their bread is more doughy than in would prefer but the important thing here is the crumbliness. It disagree with others who say you should be covered in crumbs. Those breads are always typically too hard or dry. My's bread crumbles but in manageable size crumbs.
This place is pretty clean and comfortable enough to enjoy a quick lunch.
The other lunch to-go options were nice and what I would expect in any viet deli. I grabbed the nem chua. Not the best I've had and not spicy but it was fresh, tangy, and herbal.
I am still on the search for the right pork in seattle. No place here grills their pork for whatever reason. I think it's important because the carmelization is important to bring out certain flavors and reduces the raw sweetness. This was the #2.
I did enjoy the #1 combo. Would be back for it. The pate is really nice. Not too smooth and not grainy.“

“I have ordered via grubhub previously. But today was my very first time dining in here. I got the small pho tai bo vien, it was very flavorful, hot, & really fresh. The portion is very good for the price too. I definitely would come back again in the future to try something new.“

“Food was amazing (Chicken curry) but service was sadly just not. My server seemed to not want me there and was totally put off when I asked for more rice (which I would understand if someone was just trying to get more for free, but he was happy to charge me another $2.50 for a partially filled second rice bowl.) I'd go back for the food, but I'd hope that I just caught him on a bad day or that the other servers are better.“

“They are known for their Bun Bo Hue which is amazing but my favorite is the #6 The dry pho with minced pork.“
“We ended up ordering take away since they are near closing and we didn’t like being rushed. Menu was extended. We had pho , grilled and teriyaki chicken. Big portions. Lots of veggies. Never missed the sauces. Recommended for a break in the usual western cuisine.“

“I loved this small place on Beacon Hill. I was visiting from Detroit and saw it as I walked from the train to where I was staying. I went in an hour before they opened without realizing it, and the friendly owner invited me to come back at lunchtime. I'm glad I did. The owner greeted me again warmly. I had veggie pho with tofu and a Vietnamese coffee, both absolutely delicious. The servers were friendly as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Not much atmosphere, but very friendly, satisfying food, and reasonable price. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back.“

“The food here is AUTHENTIC Vietnamese cooking. There is absolutely no other Vietnamese restaurants in Washington State that can be compared to Lang Viet. Bought 13 dishes, since it was a bit of a drive where I live. The first dish, Banh Xeo, was perfection. It had all the veggies, the banh xeo had the exact ingredients you expect from the banh xeo. Tastes excellent, even after sitting in the car for an hour drive home. The Muc Nuong Sa Te/ Grilled cuttle fish with house special chili sauce is so perfectly cooked, the cuttle fish is soft and melts in your mouth. The Bun Mam is the best. It is not overwhelm by the mam. Everything in it balanced out and it is the only Bun Mam you want to eat in this state. Khay Cuon Lang Viet is not special enough, but it fills the tummy. Thit Ba Roi, Tom Kho Tieu/ Braised black pepper pork belly and shrimp in clay pot goes perfect with white rice. It is just pure Vietnamese cooking.
This will be my weekly drive for Vietnamese food for the weekend.
Parking: lots of parking“

“TLDR: Good food, great value, friendly owner.
I try to use a sliding relative scale when it comes to the venue. Tan Dinh hits a lot of 5 stars for me that keeps me coming back. The food is a great value and it tastes really good. Its one of these places that I enjoy the food and will always buy more for an extra meal. The chicken wings are good. Like the unsauced more than the sauced. Sandwiches are tasty, I have others I like more but it doesn't stop me from getting one every month like clock work. Did get to try a papaya salad once (think it was a one time leftovers from catering thing) which was really good. Parking is tricky in the lot (big dip/drop), would recommend you park on the street.“
