“Blazing Onion is one of our local burger places. It's very kid friendly, but also has a nice bar. They have an annoying policy of having you place your order at the door before getting a table. Not that big of a deal if you know what you want. If I don't have the kids in tow, I just sit in the bar. Food is good. Desserts are huge. Service is generally good. Shannon is a great bartender, and has my favorite drink dialed in. Definitely worth a visit.“

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ming for helping me get my son his pizza after doordash never delivered my order i came in 5 mins after closing he was super nice and polite i offered multiple times to pay for it sence i was well aware it was Doordash mistake not Mods but one thing i disliked was the 2 other crew members being rude to Ming for helping me out i politely said thank you to ming on my way out to witch he replied have a great night i proceeded to thank the older lady with a sleeve tattoo only to be rudely ignored by her as soon as i walked out i noticed her going up to Ming to confront him for what he did i will be calling corporate to thank them for what Ming Did im a very frequent customer i order almost everyday the other lady needs to learn manners and i hope corporate can take the time to train her right and not be rude to customers acting like its coming out of her paycheck“

Had prompt, wonderful service from Michelle, and amazing food with giant portions. I typically only eat half of anything I order, but the food was so good, I ate 90% of my meal. “We had such a wonderful first experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hotpot was incredibly flavorful, and the soup bases were excellent. The sauce section was spotless and very well organized, and all of the food was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated. The vegetables and meats, in particular, were very fresh.

We visited on a weekday during lunch, so not every section of the restaurant was open. What really impressed me was that the staff was still taking the time to thoroughly clean the closed dining section where no guests were sitting. I actually saw employees cleaning and dusting the tops of the light fixtures in that unused area. That level of attention to detail, even in an area that wasn't currently being used, really says a lot about how seriously they take cleanliness. The amount of work they put into keeping the entire dining area clean is remarkable.

A special shout-out to our server, Audrey, who truly made our experience exceptional. Since it was our first time visiting, she took the time to explain how everything worked, recommended meals for us, and showed us how to order. She also helped us with how to properly cook the shrimp paste, which was especially helpful since we were trying it for the first time. She provided us with hand wipes, hair ties, glasses wipes, and aprons as well.

We also witnessed an example of how attentive the service is. The table next to us had been waiting quite a while for their meat entree. Audrey noticed the situation and immediately brought out their missing entree, along with some additional items on the house as an apology for the wait. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making things right for the guests.

The service here is impeccable, and Audrey deserves special recognition for going above and beyond. Combined with the flavorful hotpot, excellent soup bases, freshness of the food, beautiful presentation, and incredible attention to cleanliness, this restaurant made a fantastic first impression. We will definitely be coming back!“

“My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)

I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me to write a review about it. I actually felt an endorphin rush from eating it! My wife loved the halibut, (which I also tried) and I would say getting her to eat fish is usually a challenge unless her fisherman father prepares it!

I would recommend a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, which Casey also pointed me towards some new Rye to try. Fantastic as always!

I had placed an order for oysters but apparently they were forgotten, but I was so enamored with the mushroom dish that I didn't even care. Casey offered them to me on the house as he felt bad, which was a very nice gesture. I wasn't upset at all!

Now we would like to try all the other dishes, because if both meals were that good, how can they miss with anything else?
