Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the ramen and sushi options here.

I've tried other places that specialize in making ramen. Sadly none of them really impressed me and would usually opt out for pho instead. But here, they got ramen RIGHT.

Hear me out, the black sesame squid ink ramen?? FIRE. The soup got that addictive nutty taste to it - this is my favorite ramen.

For seafood bowls, raw seafood and rice ratio is fair. Nice thick cuts of fish. Reasonable to the price.“

“This was my first time eating at a local restaurant since moving to the CD from Bellevue (good riddance), and I was welcomed with warmth in a super inviting environment — big open windows and adorable outdoor seating. My food did not take very long at all to receive even though (as far as I could tell) there was only one person working. Right before he handed me my food, he said something so unexpectedly kind: that it’s nice to see me here! He handed me a beautifully seasoned (free) falafel on a fork.

It put the biggest smile on my face. I took my food home, I’m eating it right now, and I’m still smiling. The Greek fries are so delightful — they’re really crispy and so fresh compared to other ones I’ve tried. What a great experience! I love this neighborhood so much. ❤“

“I don't normally rave about restaurants, because let's be honest, most around here are simply not that good. This place is absolutely delicious! Got the gyro plate. Meat was tender and moist. Salad was fresh and delightful. Rice was out of this world! Absolutely loved it! HUGE portions. They also use the compostable takeout boxes. We will definitely be back.“

“I am suspect of one star reviews that simply say everything was so awful that they are not coming back. I've been coming here for years. I very much enjoy the drinks and occasional food that I purchase.

Have I ever had a breakfast sandwich that was warmed and yet had a cold spot? Yes, one time I have. Have I ever felt that service was better at times than others? Yes. Have I personally just enjoyed visiting with some baristas more than others, yes. Some baristas have been less than I would want in an employee if I was the owner and no surprise, they don't work here any longer. The current opener is wonderful so stop in.

One data point is an anomaly. Two data points is a line but you need many more to establish trend. I keep trending in the front door for a first of the day hot coffee multiple times a week before riding off to work.

Once I found RTR I stopped going to Kirkland and its many coffee shops for $5 cortados. I'll sip my cortado or cubano right with an occasional baked good here at an entirely reasonable price, thanks.“

“Came here before a USCIS appointment up the street. Chicken banh mi was tasty and felt enormous. Coconut slushy coffee was VERY rich and refreshing. Super cute and fairly priced place. Would recommend to anyone who wants to spend $10 on tasty coffee and sunny outdoor seating instead of overpriced public parking.“

That torta though, I’ve been to hundreds of taco trucks on the west coast. All I had was the torta al pastor and this is definitely in the 5 that’s I’ve ever had!
