“I left my bag here in the afternoon, I only realized that I didn't have my bag.
Thankfully, when I got back there in the evening, the store manager had kept my bag safe! Thank you very much for keeping my bag safe Sylvie (store manager)!
Besides the good service, the double cheese burger I had was quite good. It wasn't greasy and the cheese was very nice!“

“This place is great! The moment I walked in I knew it was going to be! My boyfriend and I came in and it was so nice and chill. We ordered a Knafe and a Baklawa and they were a straight hit! Delicious coffee, very kind service and food was great. I cannot wait to come back again and try their other stuff!“

“Ive come here a few times and every single time it was such a positive experience! The baristas are so nice and even after not coming for (at least) a month- I was still recognized! Next level customer service for sure and dont even get me started on the drink quality! Before I’ve always gotten their chai (9/10) but today tried their “Dream” latte and I would have never guessed it was this good— The caramel on top is REAL caramel rather than just artificial stuff and it was the perfect level of sweetness while still tasting the coffee!“

“This is a hidden gem to South Seattle (West Hill) Community. Street parking is available. Fresh brewed coffee imported coffee from Ethiopia! Never too crowded and IF you’re ever looking for a meeting space, I think the business are able to facilitate.“

“I am suspect of one star reviews that simply say everything was so awful that they are not coming back. I've been coming here for years. I very much enjoy the drinks and occasional food that I purchase.
Have I ever had a breakfast sandwich that was warmed and yet had a cold spot? Yes, one time I have. Have I ever felt that service was better at times than others? Yes. Have I personally just enjoyed visiting with some baristas more than others, yes. Some baristas have been less than I would want in an employee if I was the owner and no surprise, they don't work here any longer. The current opener is wonderful so stop in.
One data point is an anomaly. Two data points is a line but you need many more to establish trend. I keep trending in the front door for a first of the day hot coffee multiple times a week before riding off to work.
Once I found RTR I stopped going to Kirkland and its many coffee shops for $5 cortados. I'll sip my cortado or cubano right with an occasional baked good here at an entirely reasonable price, thanks.“

“Came here before a USCIS appointment up the street. Chicken banh mi was tasty and felt enormous. Coconut slushy coffee was VERY rich and refreshing. Super cute and fairly priced place. Would recommend to anyone who wants to spend $10 on tasty coffee and sunny outdoor seating instead of overpriced public parking.“

“Absolutely great experience at Doppio today! Came for the first time and definitely will be back!
First of all the cafe itself is very cute and clean, overall just a really nice ambiance. The staff are super amazing as well, all are super friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
For food we got the juju crepe, and nutty nella crepe which were both delicious! I’ve had crepes before at other cafes but this has been by far my favorite! They aren’t too sweet, and the staff were very accommodating to my request of less Nutella on the crepes. The coffee was also great, one of the best in the area.
Overall, I had a great first experience at Doppio and will definitely be going back!“

“Was on the hunt for single origin & a bonus of getting a pourover. This checked all the boxes. Coffee was delicious and top tier. Be prepared to pay much higher prices likely paying for his space in a high rise in bellevue. Note coffee bag size, though getting top tier coffee. Learned after my visit he was a top roaster nationally.“

“We brought our four kids here and they had a good amount of background music that we weren't too loud for other visitors. It seemed like a great location for kids yet also a great location for anyone who needed some time on their laptops for business or school! Majority of the people were there for school or business on their laptops but didn't seem to notice the extra noise from our kids Because they had such nice background music playing“

“I’m from Chicago and out here for work. I’ve never really been picky when it comes to coffee.. Starbucks? Gas station? Home brewed? Eh.. cups a cup.. today I stopped in Down Pour on my way to the job and I will forever be in search of a coffee like this back home. Best cup of coffee I’ve ever had.“

“In a city full of coffee shops it’s hard to stand out and this one this really manages to do it. Their standard drinks are solid. I usually just get a latte or a dirty chai. If I’m feeling saucy I get the evergreen energy drink which is excellent. They have a creative menu that’s fun for those that like the more sugary stuff. The rotating monthly menu of themed drinks is borderline psychotic, but I mean that in the best way. I can’t wait to see what kind of insanity they come up with. I usually just make coffee at home, but every other week when my kids have dance in the same complex we leave early specifically to build an RVC run into the schedule.“

“Sooooo yummy! The coffee was amazing, and what really stood out was how incredibly friendly and welcoming the owner is. Janneta was so so warm and genuine, and you can tell she truly cares about the people she serves. Great coffee, even better customer service, and such a positive atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping by!“

“One of the coziest atmospheres I've found in any cafe! Comfy chairs invite you to relax with a book and sip cup after cup of coffee or tea. Delicious and creative drink specials. Service is fast even on their busier days. As a bonus, you can pick up some incense or crystals while you're there, or catch one of their fun events like Open Mic or poetry night!“

“This post deserves a SHARE and it’s public! I ventured out to Creamy Cone Cafe (a Black owned small business) for the first time today. The post about the grilled cheese on croissant bread with tomato soup got me. As soon as I walked in I wanted everything!!!! I started with ALL 12 of the flavors currently on hand, the grilled cheese w/soup, the peach cobbler à la mode and a brown sugar cookie that never made it home. My favorite flavors were Strawberry Shortcake, Banana Pudding, Mint Mud pie and Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. None of the flavors were displeasing and ALL of them I would order again. I love that you can taste the individual ingredients in the ice cream it’s self. You can absolutely tell these flavors are made with real fruit!! There was a vegan flavor and a non-dairy flavor that was tasty, something for everyone!!! I will be back often. I did want to point out, just because parking isn’t the greatest doesn’t mean don’t stop in. When you walk through the door it feels like family! Also, they have gift certificates. A win win!!! I’ll be buying some to give to people so they can experience the greatness as well. The list of current flavors are in the photos.“

“I had a delicious Burundi pour-over and a cortado. I really loved the pour-over. I sampled some of the Colombian batch brewed coffee and ended up buying a bag of those beans (from Kuna). I also enjoyed chatting with one of the baristas. Their banana bread is also very good but I think that was a bit overpriced.“
“I’m still glowing from the moment I walked into Cedar Tea House—just a few hours after meeting owner Thalay Tran at my own business, Brain and Body Recess. Her energy was magnetic, and when I arrived to support through a friend’s introduction, I was met with pure magic.
The conservatory had been transformed into a hidden oasis—calm, welcoming, and sacred. Lanterns glowed warmly overhead, the atmosphere was both soothing and vibrant, and every detail reflected intention and care. The tea was flavorful, memorable, and healing—a sip that felt like medicine for the soul.
What makes Cedar Tea House unlike anywhere else is the depth of heart behind it.
• Thalay Tran infuses her healing journey and Plum Village mindfulness into every element of the space, creating a sanctuary of presence and peace.
• Hector Ayala brings cultural depth with his ceremonial kava offerings, served traditionally in tanoa bowls with coconut shells—an experience of ritual and connection.
• Alexia Parmer infuses the space with creative spirit, encouraging us to “come be weird, come be colorful,” ensuring Cedar Tea House is not just a lounge but a community alive with art, music, meditation, and storytelling.
This is more than tea—it is community, creativity, and care embodied. I left deeply restored, carrying the calm back with me to Brain and Body Recess where the evening found its perfect closing note.
Seattle is richer because of Cedar Tea House. It is a sobriety-friendly sanctuary, a creative hub, and a place to feel truly at home. I am proud to stand in unity with Thalay and her team—visionary business owners rooted in healing, culture, and love.
If you’re seeking an unforgettable experience—whether a late-night tea ritual, mindful connection, or simply an atmosphere that awakens the soul—Cedar Tea House is the destination. A place that will resonate not just for today, but for generations.“

“I really like coffee shop! The staff is very friendly, the drinks are consistently great, and the service is quick considering how busy it can get. The pastries are also really good, I highly recommend the chocolate croissant and lemon coffee cake. Yes, it is not $2 coffee, but the price doesn't stand out too much - coffee is expensive in Seattle no matter where you go. I recommend you stop by, I will definitely be coming back! :)“

“Great ambiance and excellent service but very hard to find parking. I had to park at the 2-hour limited street parking next to the apartments. I don’t mind walking but the shopping center management needs to provide more parking for the retail establishments. I went over the 2-hour limit and was relieved I didn’t get towed.“
