“This place is a hidden gem. Limoncello cake is an explosion of flavor and texture. Quality and fresh ingredients. Perfect atmosphere for family dinner, date, or if you would like to spend a night at the bar and have a meal. Regardless, it’s a must to check this place out. Your taste buds deserve some love.“
“This is definitely my favorite place to have coffee dates and meetings in town! The pastries and sandwiches are excellent and the coffee is great. The atmosphere is bright and joyful, though a bit loud at times. My main complaint is that you can't always find a seat.“
“The food and service were amazing! The steaks were cooked perfectly with the fat melting in your mouth. The drinks were delicious and well worth what we payed. As for the cheese cake, I've never had one as good as this. 5/5 for us, thank you for helping me celebrate my wife's 33rd Birthday!“
“Outstanding atmosphere, service is always perfect, and the food is phenomenal! My gluten eating friends never complain when I ask to come here, they love it too. It’s so fun to be able to enjoy fish and chips again, they’re some of the best in the area.Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious options and they are fantastic about making recommendations for modificationsDietary restrictions: Obviously a gluten free haven but they can accommodate other dietary needs like nut free, soy free, or dairy free. They know their menu well and take great care to ensure you have something safe to eat!“
“I was really excited to try this, as I'd heard a lot of great things about the mac & cheese hereStarting off with the good part, the penne pasta was a great choice here. It was really soft, and there was a good amount of itI feel like there was a really good ratio of cheese to pasta here, where the pasta felt really creamy but not overly cheesy - a great overall balancehowever, I'm just not sure this is that much better than mac and cheese I've had at other placesIn fairness, I've always been ambivalent about mac and cheese as a dish. I like it, but it's certainly not my go to whenever I see it on the menu, and I certainly wouldn't consider either a mac & cheese or a cheese aficionado in generalreading through these reviews, it seems that people are huge fans of cheese seem to love some specific qualities about this specific type of cheese, but for me, it certainly tastes good, probably above average, but i find it highly doubtful that this is truly the "world's best" mac & cheeseMaybe I'm just not picking up on the finer qualities of the dish, but to me the cheese is creamy and flavorful, but not special. It's something I'm glad I triedonce, and it was good, but I don't feel the need to try it againOverall, above-average mac & cheese, but nothing all-time. 7.75/10“
“I have a soft spot for this place as it was the place of my first date with my now fiancé, the service is always top tiered and I love the throwback music that's playing that gives me a sense of nostalgia. If I'm being honest, the food there is very good but it is astronomically over priced and they don't even give you a large amount for the price you pay which is why I don't really come here often. I've been to other restaurants who give bigger entrees, more variety and reasonably priced that have had better food. I ordered the corn guacamole to start, for two it's a small helping but it was very good. As my entree I ordered the ravioli bianco and my fiancé ordered a burger, they were both very good but the amount was pretty scant, especially given my dish cost around $34. Not a bad place to eat at all but you are going to be paying some pretty steep prices dining here.“
“When you see a place that's open 3 days a week for 2 hours per day, you have to be intrigued.Came here on a Thursday and got in line at 8:30am. Sat in a camping chair in the cold patiently waiting for some malasadas.Definitely worth it. I got one of each (lemon curd, strawberry, tiramisu, and chocolate hazelnut - listed in personal preference) with a brownie on the side. To go with my fresh doughnuts, I also ordered an oat-chata.Doughnuts were fresh and enjoyed on the spot. The oat-chata was fantastic and I would go back there just for another one. The brownie was a brownie, but figured I'd give it a try given the wait.Good vibes with the interior. Lovely staff. Would come back here again to sit in a chair to wait for a fresh doughnut.Dietary restrictions: No peanut products detected“
“It was absolutely fantastic! I felt like I had to find the location; it felt like a secret to uncover. The unassuming exterior did not match the fabulous interior or the magnificent service rendered by the host and servers. The food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails looked perfectly made, as did their bottle service. What truly elevated the experience was the entertainment. I went on Tuesday night when it was aerial acrobatics!“
“Food: 5/5 best croissant/pastries I've had in Seattle Coffee: 5/5 best cold brew we've had Price: 4/5 Service: 4/5 (only bc there's often a lot of people) BEST pastries and croissants of all bakeries I've been to in Seattle (and I've been to a lot). It's the exact right texture, flakiness, butter, and size - closest to French croissants you can get in Seattle. Great espresso drinks and some of the best cold brew we've had as well in Seattle. Runners up include L'Experience on Mercer Island (though it's a little pricey) and Baked Flours in Beacon Hill. The only downside is sometimes it's crowded (probably bc it's so good) so you might have to just go in and out. But the coffee and pastries are really second to none and we also pick up their in-house made unique preserves on occasion which are wonderful! Their Burien location is much larger with more inventory of jams, coffee, etc you can buy and space to sit down. We just don't make it out there often but it's a great location.“
“The girl in front of me apparently came back for four more Wild Strawberry macarons, so that influenced me to try one out also. Delicious! I also got their seasonal Tart Cherry which was good, but the Wild strawberry was better, plus it comes in cute two-tone colors. There was a short line, but it moved quickly.“
“Came here for brunch on our way out of Seattle. Delicious food, especially the spam musubi, atmosphere is cozy and relaxed and the staff are super friendly and cool. We had to go back in and grab more musubi for the road before we left. Would definitely eat here again next time I'm in the “
“The waitresses were excellent the food was excellent The drinks we had were good and I would have rated the place love it except for They put us in the back corner next to the bar where everybody and their brother were walking back-and-forth wasn't pleasant I would go againParking: The earlier you get there the easier it is to find a parking spot“
“The slogan of this restaurant is "the best teriyaki in town" and it is SO TRUE. I've tried a lot of teriyaki in the south end, Georgetown and West Seattle and this place stands out for its high-quality taste and freshness, as well as cleanliness of the facility and the kindness of the staff. This is literally the only place I want teriyaki from in Seattle. A+!!!!!“
“If I worked in the area, I'd come all the time! Generous portions, quality food, great value, friendly and efficient staff. My beef bibimbap was full of meat and veggies; my California roll had an extra slice of fresh avocado on top. Can't wait to try their other bowls in the future. Owner was super friendly and gave my toddler a fun drink. Such a great experience here, thank you!“
“This is the second time I've gotten 9th and Hennepin's donuts on a weekend morning and I can sense this quickly becoming a new weekend ritual! The donuts are creative and incredibly delicious, I'm looking forward to seeing what flavors are coming out every week (check the website of the same name) and they are served hot and fresh - truly a decadent experience. The service is also wonderful, always kind and friendly. If you're looking for a weekend morning treat, definitely check out this gem!!“
“Daaaaaamn. The cream puffs blew my mind! I bought a couple dozen for a memorial service after reading reviews and the lady working gave me one to try since I'd never had them. I took a bite while I was driving through the parking lot, and had to pull over to focus on it, it was THAT good. Follow the directions and eat it upside down so you don't lose the filling! The outer shell is like a delicate concha, and the cream is smooth and not overly sweet. The chocolate filling was almost malt flavored, and perfect too. The Macrons are surprisingly delicious too! I'm not always a fan of them, but these were really tasty and the flavors are varied and delicious. Red velvet was my favorite. No pictures because everything was devoured!“
“Loved that they had gluten-free bread and the waitress was knowledgeable on what could be made gluten-free. The chimichurri was spot on and really good.Dietary restrictions: Hollandaise sauce is made gluten-freeThey have gluten-free bread options too.“
“There are two Storyvilles in SeattleThis is the branch located on the second floor of Pike Place MarketGreat light pours into the interiorA cup of latte costs US$9.37 (nearly NT$300) which is higher than the average, but the portion is good, it’s a super large cup size! You won’t be able to drink it all (a great deal! The cinnamon rolls are so delicious! Very crispy! (but a little sweet)You can also add syrup~it’s already delicious without adding it!Highly recommended!“
“Piroshky Piroshky did not disappoint! The line moved very fast, and the staff was knowledgeable and wanted to make your experience positive. The PNW weather was typical that day, so the staff kept the line of guests underneath the covered awning while we waited for our turn. My food was well-sized for the portion and amount, it came warm and flaky, just how I imagined!“
“I've been here twice and in those two visits I've had friendly knowledgeable welcoming greetings from the staff. Bakery atmosphere is soft and relaxing, clean and organized. The bakery has the most amazing treats fresh baked in-house.Frittata is delicious, although I believe it's seasonal.Recommend 10/10!“
“The restaurant was full for lunch with just two ladies waiting on tables. They were fast and got our order out quick. We had the fried rolls, tofu rice soup and the drunken mushrooms. I really like the hearty oyster and shiitake mushrooms in the dish with its rich sauce.“
“Delightful intimate dinner spot. My burger was cooked to perfection and the bun held till the last bite. The beet goat cheese stack was a treat. Finished with creme brûlée that was very well presented and had excellent flavor. All in all a treat!“
“Great sandwiches, great ice cream, and an excellent selection of European grocery items and candy! The Nick & Nora sandwich is my fave! Their prosciutto is also the best. It is usually very busy, so expect a long wait if you order sandwiches in store.! I really wish they were on UberEats or DoorDash but I can understand why they aren’t. The parking is difficult in this area, but this place is famous in West Seattle and for good reason, so worth it!Parking: Easiest to park in the paid lot or behind the building then access from the back.“
“This was my inaugural visit, and I decided to take the waitress's recommendation for my dish. It turned out to be an exceptional choice. The dish featured chorizo and steak layered over a bed of white cheese (which I believe was Jack cheese), accompanied by grilled veggies, avocado, and some of the most delectable tortillas I've ever savored at a restaurant. The service was excellent, complemented by a welcoming atmosphere, and every other dish we sampled was equally delightful. I'm already planning my return to indulge in the Chilaquiles, enchiladas, mole, and more. The outstanding quality of the food, especially those tortillas, is worth highlighting!“
“A warm and cozy place with a homestyle feel. The bottomless cup of black coffee was great. I’ll add that. I appreciate the warm, heavy porcelain mug that they give you instead of everybody getting a paper cup. I’m sure they have paper cups if he ask for one…. The almond croissant was not a giant sugar bomb like many of them are. The place seems popular with the locals, which is a good sign. The avocado toast looked great, but I wasn’t ready for that much food…“
“I first tried Korean food at a restaurant when I was in the Army near Newport News Virginia. I'll never forget my perception of the foreign-ness to the food. I remember there was a lot of meat and a fried egg cracked on top. That was over 30 years ago. I tried a lot of different Korean food since with favorites including Bulgogi, and all the meats... Today, I find myself here at Ohsun Banchan for Lunar New Year. I find myself thinking about what a change this has become from my original perception and understanding of Korean food. We got the Bulgogi that came with 3 banchan. My wife loves everything pickled, and I try... I like the cucumbers, but the rest isn't my thing. I want to clarify, I do like Kimshi, just not all things pickled. The Bulgogi and the purple rice was lightly seasoned, but very delicious. I would season more, but I do think we as Americans overseason. Great experience. Thank you Ohsun Banchan.“
“Cute spot, good coffee. As of 2.4.24, their system prices were all higher than their menu prices so double check your order to make sure you aren’t being over charged. I understand that it is a lot of work toChange prices. You can also update your sign first, then your system (leaving people pleasantly surprised!), not your system first, then get around to the sign (leaving me having to ask why everything was more expensive than advertised and having to have the manager fix the transaction)“
“Aptly and appropriately named, this off the main path delight is straight forward but still adequate options.St.louis style ribs and red bean chili are both great. Have the chili with a spike on top, mix it up and try and forget just how bad it is outside the location in seattle.“
“This is a gem in Pike’s Place. We went here for breakfast. Massive, fresh biscuits, incredible service and great views of the harbor. Highly recommend the crab melt on a Macgregor, and the biscuits and gravy and dirty bird are great as well, with enough food to feed an army (or a famished family)! Will definitely come here again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options availableParking: Park in Pike’s Place Market ramp on north side. Follow the signs and take the stairs down.“
“Auntie Irene’s is the place you can go to for a delicious pick-me-up or for a sit down breakfast/lunch spiced up with some card and board games. The first step in the door or into the drive thru you are greeted by amazing staff who remember your order by the third visit. They go above and beyond with absolutely everything; and I always leave with my order and my day instantly better just with one interaction.“
“First time here for a happy hour with a friend and we didn't realize it was trivia night. We ended up playing and having a good time, servers were fun and played along. They also had great drinks and had GF pita so I could enjoy the hummus with more than just veggies!Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free (GF) options“
“Rotating calendar of delicious soups! Our favorites are the Greek chicken lemon, the tomato bisque, the loaded baked potato, and the poultry pot pie (chicken most times, turkey around Thanksgiving). The brewery/cheese soup and the split pea with ham are also good. Perfect with the provided roll and butter (one per soup order). Service is great - quick, friendly and they remember you. Count on us for repeat visits!“
“This place is located across from the Pike Place Market sign. It has a window that features all of the freshly baked goods and a small seating area inside if you want to dine there too. I've been here several times and enjoyed everything I've had from here. My favorite things to get here are: ciabatta loaf and lemon bars. I enjoy the shortbread they use for their dessert bars. You can also order hot food items such as breakfast sandwiches & lunch too. I'd highly recommend coming here.“
“Good coffee. Went on weekend so they didn’t have much food and drip coffee options. they made me Americano coffee which was really great. It’s really relax and laid-back place. They also sell wine and coffee beans.if you want to work they also have Wi-Fi option and there are some bakery items too. The guy at the counter was really helpful and welcoming. Parking can be a little bit tricky but it’s all street parking, it’s relatively huge place and can be a good spot for working overall it’s really good I wish I could had chance to eat some breakfast sandwich.“
“I discovered this place thanks to TGTG but it quickly became one of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood! They offer great variety of delicious pastries, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to sit down to enjoy your coffee with a delicious pastry!“
“I only knew about this awesome Italian restaurant thanks to the Tru hotel and their whiteboard recommendationsAm I ever glad for it, this place is the best Italian food I've ever eaten. The tortellini gorgonzola is (literally speaking) to die for. My friend had the Linguini Marco and was equally floored with itI can't honestly fathom ever going to olive garden again (I know, low bar)“
“They have a wonderful selection of sweet treats and little pizza squares. I stop by to get a couple cookies whenever I have family coming to visit for them try. The staff also always sweet and welcoming.Dietary restrictions: They have nice vegan and gluten-free options“
“I love the baked goods here. But I really wanted to say thank you again to Owen, she went above and beyond this morning when I was followed out of the coffee shop to make sure I was safe and get me help. I really appreciated her attentiveness to the energy in the room. She also made me a new coffee when mine got spilled which helped ease a stressful morning. Thank you for looking out for me.“
“Love this bakery, and it was wonderful visiting during our time on Vashon. You can peek back and see that everything is freshly made. We tried a variety of items, and everything was delicious and nothing disappointed. Staff and service were also lovely. Will definitely be back the next time. We are visiting Vashon.“
“Closest thing to NY pizza I've found on this coast. Slices are huge. I got a full pizza for fun last time, and it was so big I had to put it in the trunk of my car to get it home. It's great everytime I've gone. I've only ever gotten their slices of pizza because how can you turn those down. Good atmosphere. Can watch games on TV, play board games with friends, and enjoy delicious pizza.“
“Awesome service and flavors!! I got the Blueberry lavender gelato, which was amazing. Literally so good. Cannot find this flavor anywhere else that's this good. Forks (forgive me if I spelled his name wrong) was an absolute joy and guided us through the tasting process, further elevating the experience. 10/10 will come back again :)“
“Stellar service, stellar food. I'm not much of a pasta guy but the saffron chicken pasta was fantasticUpdate: spicy sausage pizza was fabulous. We ordered the fig salad this time and they botched it but were super kind about taking it back!“
“I always buy a haul from here while on the island. My choices always include the butter chicken, their GF tuna melt (best I’ve ever had), and the mocha yogurt is addictive, sooo delicious. It’s so nice to have gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options!“
“Sooooooooooo good! Better than Japan honestly! And I’m born and raised in Japan! They don’t cheap out on fruits! You get fruits in every bite all the way down the crepe. And look at it! The presentation of the crape itself is amazing! Well done to the beautiful people I met making these pieces of art! Picture perfect crapes! 1000/10!!!! ?yum!“
“Love this place- been going for years when it was a hidden gem and now that's it's expanded it's much more like other brunch places with a long wait to get in and long wait for food. Food is still excellent, just be willing to wait.“
“Solid Arepas. The arepa was fresh and well toasted. The meat was tasty.Just the pork one was missing a bit of flavor (sweetness and tart). The beef one was tasty since it had plantains. The cilantro sauce was a must add to complete the meal.“
“Want cheesecake? This is the spot to be. I NEEDED cheesecake and saw the variety of options they had online so we scurried over. I couldn't choose between flavors and thats where the size of these really comes in handy. They're nice and mini sized which makes it so much more justifiable to buy multiple lol. So that's what we did. One white chocolate raspberry, one lemon white chocolate, one apple and wine, one quadruple chocolate, one new york cheesecake. Honestly as much as I like the unique inspired combinations, I liked the more classic flavors more and the new york cheesecake was my favorite! Despite their size each of them are still pretty hefty and lasted a good couple of snacking sessions“
“Cinnamon rolls as big as your head — something I will always go out of my way to get! This is a super-relaxed, local, idiosyncratic spot. What it lacks in culinary “nuance” and fancified refinements it more than makes up for in spirit, surprises, and sass.Parking: Be courteous and considerate about where you park. Vashon is a real live functioning community, and folks need to get in and out of their businesses, homes, and byways. Not always very clear where it’s ok to park around here. Informal distinctions between roads, rightofways, pedestrian paths, places of business, privateprops, alleys, driveways, and load-in/outs. In a community that’s not keen on gajillions of rules ‘n’ regs, happiness depends on kind consideration among all people. ☮️“
“My first experience with Ethiopian food. Loved it very much. I got the injera and lamb tibs, the amount of food was amazing for the cost- my friend and I realized too late we should have shared a dish. Very excited to finish my leftovers later and I’d like to come again!Wheelchair accessibility: Mobility aid accessible! Someone pulled the chairs out of the way for us too.“
“The BEST cookies on the planet! They are so dense and buttery, you can even eat them in bed without worrying about them crumbling apart ? A perfect date spot with your kid, and also super fun to go try the monthly flavors every month (although the classic Taylor will always be the best). Treat is also super involved in the local community which I love! Seriously, take it from someone who has visited DOZENS of times that this is the perfect cookie spot!“
